Ingredients

Potatoes 10-12 pcs
Carrot 2 small
Sour cream 20% 200 ml
Turkey fillet 350 g
Salt pepper taste
Dry garlic and oregano taste
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • This budgetary, flavorful and uncomplicated dish can be prepared with both steamed and frozen turkey fillets,
  • or even take instead of meat 10-12 fresh mushrooms, chopped randomly.
  • 1. You need to peel enough potatoes to fill a 2 liter bowl completely,
  • cut it into thin slices and place in water slightly acidified with citric acid so that the potatoes do not darken.
  • Before placing in the bowl, rinse the potatoes again and drain the water.
  • 2. Peel the carrots, grate and mix with 100 ml of sour cream.
  • 3. Grease a slow-cooker bowl with vegetable oil and place half of the potato slices.
  • Season with salt, pepper and oregano.
  • Put the carrots in sour cream on top, salt and pepper, add dry garlic and oregano.
  • Put the remaining potatoes on top and evenly grease them with sour cream. Place fillet or mushrooms on top so that they do not touch the sides of the bowl.
  • Cooking for 5 hours on HIGH, the dish is ready if it can be pierced through with a skewer without any effort

In tagine it will definitely turn out great, but there is a slight difference: the slow cooker heats from the sides, and the tagine from the bottom, so the first time you need to look so that it does not stick to the bottom IMHO, of course.
