Pies with cabbage

Ingredients

Flour 2 glasses
Water 0.5 cups
Vegetable oil 0.5 cups
Salt, sugar by a pinch
Cabbage 1 small fork
Bulb onions 2-3 pcs
Vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • Add salt, sugar to the sifted flour, pour vegetable oil, water, quickly, but without fanaticism, knead the dough, divide into 12-15 pieces. Cover with foil and refrigerate.
  • Finely chop the cabbage, salt, squeeze a little and fry over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the cabbage is done. Fry the onions separately, combine with cabbage, you can add dill, a boiled egg.
  • Roll out the dough very thinly on a pie, put the filling and twist the tube. Bake until tender. This "readiness" took me 40 minutes. It is better to bake such pies in the oven. But the oven was busy.
  • The dough turns out amazing)) just look at these stratified pieces ...

And to be honest, I didn't really like the terrible heartburn from them, too much oil. The top in the oven did not turn red, so I had to bring the top under the grill. Nothing exfoliates, only due to thin rolling (rolled out very thinly), and the dough itself is just plasticine. rolls out easily, but no taste at all.
Googled, everywhere it is written that you need to grease the top with an egg and bake for no longer than 20 minutes, maybe that's why I didn't like it, because it was overexposed.
