Jellied cabbage pie, option N1

Ingredients

White cabbage 500gr
Bulb onion 1 PC
eggs 3 pcs
mayonnaise 3st. l.
salt, sugar 1h l.
wheat flour c. from. 100gr
baking powder or soda 0.5 tsp
cumin (optional) 0.5 tbsp. l.
bacon (optional) 100gr

Cooking method

  • First, we prepare the filling:
  • Chop the cabbage finely, sprinkle with salt and grind until juiced. Leave to stand to extract juice.
  • Peel and cut the onion into quarters of rings, you can fry in oil (I put it in the filling just like that - raw). If you want a more satisfying pie, you can add bacon, for this cut it into small pieces.
  • Squeeze the cabbage from the released juice, drain the juice, and mix the cabbage with onion and bacon. Add caraway if desired. Mix everything.
  • Cooking the dough:
  • Mix three raw eggs well with sugar, mayonnaise and salt.
  • Add baking powder and flour to the liquid mass.
  • We mix everything thoroughly, you can do everything with a fork, the whisk and mixer can rest.
  • The dough turns out to be liquid and it looks a little small, but it seems.
  • Cooking the cake itself:
  • Combine the filling and dough, mix very thoroughly so that the filling is evenly "smeared" with the dough. Put in a mold, carefully align and not tamp too much. The dough does not cover the top of the cabbage, it just spreads evenly by itself inside the filling.
  • Bake until tender at 220 degrees.
  • This time I baked in my electric pan. But I also baked this cake in the oven. And I baked a half portion even in a bread machine. I have not tried in the Princess, but I am convinced that it is possible in it, but always in some form.
  • This is how the finished cake looks like:
  • Jellied cabbage pie, option N1
  • And this is it on a platter, bottom up, so more beautiful:
  • Jellied cabbage pie, option N1
  • The pie is not raw and very tasty.

Mandraik Ludmila, Wow,
cool not obtrusive cabbage recipe!
Thank you, I'm taking it to the piggy bank!
Mandraik Ludmila
Natalia, yes, in my opinion you can't think of it easier with cabbage
Super Tanya
Jellied cabbage pie, option N1

Here ... baked. I will not say that I turned out to be a masterpiece .. I really wanted to try to bake it, but there was no mayonnaise, and I was too lazy to do it. Replaced with sour cream. And there were only 2 eggs. I ground a piece with cold milk ..... I sit, bliss!
Thanks for the recipe!
Mandraik Ludmila
Super Tanya, I have an option with sour cream and there is with kefir, I hope there will be options 2 and 3 There, of course, other proportions, but the same is delicious
Deana
Very similar to the cake that I baked in the form of a cake in the oven, it turns out tender, moist and delicious. I take it to the piggy bank, definitely!
Super Tanya
I didn't get wet ... normal. I baked in the oven!
Mandraik Ludmila
Dina, it is not wet if its oven is not very thick, up to 3 cm high.
Deana
Mandraik Ludmila, I understood, but the essence is the same, I just thumped a lot of cabbage there and didn't squeeze the juice, so it was moist. And then I will do everything according to the recipe, I will compare. I will not give such delicious food to anyone, I will eat it myself under the blanket
kirch
ButtercupThanks for the recipe. Recently I have been looking and trying jellied pies with cabbage. Until I stopped at any, I don't really like it. I'll try yours.Did you bake in an ordinary Miracle? I have it, but I will never master it. Everything seems to me the bottom will be white and will bake for a long time
Mandraik Ludmila
kirch, bakes for 40-50 minutes from a cold one, I have a Soviet miracle, ordinary, with a 650W tenom in the lid. I love her, my miracle, dearly, more than pryntsssku, for example. The bottom, as you can see in the pictures, is quite tanned. I bake quite often in Miracle, yesterday I baked buns from yeast curd dough, so she bakes me well TTT
kirch
Buttercup, I have a Miracle, though not Soviet, bought now. We must get her. Otherwise I wanted it so, but I don't use it
Mandraik Ludmila
kirch, A miracle is a miracle, but on the other hand, if the house has an oven and it is not hot outside, then with the oven it will be faster and warmer
Cirre
Luda, a good recipe, I really do dough with kefir, my mayonnaise is not very good. This is awesome
Mandraik Ludmila
Pebble, there is a recipe with kefir, but it is wetter with it
Seberia
Mandraik Ludmila, the cake is just delicious
I did everything according to the recipe, except for the cabbage - it was not white, but Savoyard.
Baked in the oven, 35 minutes.

Well ... I did it an hour ago - there is no pie already, they ate
Mandraik Ludmila
Elena, yes, it was my husband and I alone, and then in two days we were able to, despite the fact that I had buns with lemon zest and a roll with cinnamon in parallel - we are still eating up the sweet, and the cabbage pie flew away
Deana
I carry a boast, I did it in Princess. 20 minutes cold, plus 10 off. On PR, you can increase the dose, in the proportions of the original recipe it turns out to be low, like a cake, but tasteful! In principle, I kept it under the lid for 10 minutes just to brown the top, so it was already ready. And baked on a rug, without a mold, the dough turns out thick enough so that it does not need to flow where it is not necessary. And what a smell! Mmmm!

PySy. pale in the photo - it's a flash on Fulyuganil!
mamusi
Mandraik Ludmila, Lyudochka, I will try, I will be obliged to report it, I will immediately take it to my notebook. I tweli Liu's recipes!
PySy: I drink coffee with milk froth every morning ... all by hand. I remember you EVERY MORNING !!!
Hope ~ you can feel it honey!)
Mandraik Ludmila
Ritochka, I feel you too.I like the pie very much, the rest are wetter until I have time to lay out
Andreevna
Lyudochka, thank you for such a tasty and easy pie! Jellied cabbage pie, option N1
I have already tried it, very tasty! I did it without bacon, I wanted to first understand what's what. The next one may be with additives, or maybe not, I like that too. So come on N2 and N3
Mandraik Ludmila
And here is the second option

Jellied cabbage pie, option N2 (Mandraik Ludmila)

Added to bookmarks. But the question is: why is mayonnaise in the recipe?
Mandraik Ludmila
sweetka, as I understand it, mayonnaise replaces butter and partially eggs, based on the composition of the mayonnaise. I have a recipe for curd dough there is also quite a lot of mayonnaise. Well, that's how someone came up with And I like this option the most.
sweetka
Mayonnaise decomposes when heated. At best, for butter and egg slurry (homemade mayonnaise), at worst - for a chemical slurry of an incomprehensible composition (cue store). I have absolutely no complaints, but the question remains - why is it in the recipes. I want to understand the biochemistry of the process. And I will definitely bake a pie!
Mandraik Ludmila
sweetka, I can't say anything about biochemistry, I did it on my mayonnaise too, what the result is. It breaks up if you heat it alone and then flour and eggs, in a mixed form, everything is not quite so. I have a lot of oil in the third version, but I have not yet issued it
Mandraik Ludmila
Yesterday I made bigus (white cabbage + sauerkraut + dry-cured bacon + Krakow sausage + boiled sausage + tomato paste + adjika). And I decided to make this pie with a part from Bigus in a multicooker redmond rmc-01. I baked on the "baking" program - 1h40min + on the heat after it stood to dry, with the lid open for another 1 hour. Here's the beauty:

Mirabel
Mandraik Ludmila, Lyudochka! The pie is already sitting in the Miracle, Approximately how long does it bake? there probably can't be done a test with a toothpick ...
Mandraik Ludmila
Vika, it bakes for about an hour, but yours is already baked I turned off the Internet early yesterday, preparing for NG
Mirabel
Luda, Everything was baked and eaten yesterday. Delicious! Thank you so much!!!
Mandraik Ludmila
Vika, to your health!
Mandraik Ludmila
There is already young early cabbage in the garden. It does not store well and is best used to bake pies and make salads. I added a couple of small carrots to half a kilogram of cabbage and rubbed 100 grams of Krakow sausage on a grater. so it more easily takes the shape of the form (butter-buttered) Baked this time in the princess. Everything worked out, very tasty, even somehow tender, I already diminished a piece

Waist
People, and how long did you bake in the Princess? From the cold?
Mandraik Ludmila
Natasha, about 20 minutes, I'm primarily guided by the smell, that's how it smelled ready, so another 5 minutes and that's it. And let it cool down for a while, then it kind of gets stronger
Waist
I baked it I have Chinese cabbage, there was an ownerless head of cabbage, already wilted
I didn't grind it with salt, just mixed it and wrinkled it quite a bit. She stood, became limp, gave a little juice, squeezed.
The pie turned out to be tender and tasty

Photo under the lamp.

I have a Princess with a thermostat. I turned it on to the maximum, focusing on the indicated 220 * for the oven (), baked for 15 minutes from cold and stood in the unplugged oven for 5 minutes.

I do not like that in Pizzepechka it roasts the bottom and weakly the top
All the time because of this I want to "love" the oven more

Thank you, simple and delicious!
Mandraik Ludmila
Natasha, I'm very glad that you liked it. I love unconventional recipes
Mandraik Ludmila
I forgot something about my pie, but this is how I wanted a pie with cabbage and I still remembered
Jellied cabbage pie, option N1
And now in the princess, in portions, about half an hour and the pies are ready
