Ingredients

Tomatoes
Cucumbers
Sweet onion
Large capers
Homemade cottage cheese
Garlic
Salt pepper
Greens
Dry spices for salads
Balsamic sauce
Vegetable oil

Cooking method

  • Rather, it is not even so much a salad as a form of serving. The option is good when you want to somehow diversify your usual daily salad or when you need to feed your homemade healthy cottage cheese (and they stubbornly twist their nose).
  • So, cut cucumbers, tomatoes into slices, onions in thin half rings with medium rings, lay the capers randomly on a plate or dish. Season with salt, pepper, sprinkle with herbs (fresh and dried salad spices).
  • Sprinkle with any vegetable oil on top (I like grape seed). Add a drop of balsamic sauce.
  • Cottage cheese (not sour, better homemade) to break through with a blender with dill, parsley, garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Roll the balls into walnuts. Dip in toasted flax and sesame seeds.
  • Place the balls on top of the vegetables.
  • That's all. Looks pretty and is eaten instantly. It is the balls that are destroyed especially quickly.
  • I do not pretend to be great originality or special sophistication, but the salad turns out to be pretty. Even guests are not ashamed to serve.
