Cod cutlets

Ingredients

cod (fillet) 500 g
chicken eggs 2 pcs
bulb onions 1 PC
slices of white bread 4 things
raw potatoes 80 g
raw smoked bacon 50 g
salt, a mixture of freshly ground peppers taste
flour or crackers for breading 3-4 tbsp. l
vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • Fish, onions (I have half a large onion) and white bread soaked in water (squeeze out excess water) through a meat grinder.
  • Grate potatoes on a fine grater, squeeze.
  • Chop the bacon as small as possible.
  • Add eggs, potatoes and bacon to the minced meat. Add salt and pepper to taste. Knead and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  • Cod cutlets
  • Form small cutlets with wet hands, breaded (in my flour).
  • Fry on both sides over medium heat until golden brown. Cover the pan with a lid and keep the cutlets on low heat for about 10 minutes.
  • Serve immediately with potatoes or fresh vegetables.
