Bran loaf

Ingredients

water 400 ml.
sugar 2 tbsp. l.
salt 2 tsp
pressed yeast 12 g
sunflower oil 3 tbsp. l.
flour first grade 800gr.
wheat bran 50 gr.

Cooking method

  • Dissolve yeast in warm water, add salt. sugar and butter. Then mix the flour and bran separately. Gradually add flour to the liquid and knead a dense and elastic dough. Of course, you can do all this in a bread maker, but personally I like to do this by hand, so I feel the dough better.
  • We let him come and rest. 1.5 hours. Then we knead the dough and make 3 loaves, weighing about 450-500 grams. Roll each loaf in bran for a rough effect and make oblique cuts. Put on a baking sheet and cover with a napkin, let proof for 1 hour.
  • Oven in a convection oven for 35-40 minutes at 180 C.
