Ingredients

Mushrooms 50-100gr
Potato 4-5 pieces
Carrot 1 piece
Onion 1 piece
Pearl barley or Bulgur 1/2 mst
Salt, peppercorns, bay leaf taste

Cooking method

  • Soak the mushrooms for 2 hours. We do not pour out the water from the mushrooms, it will be the broth. We squeeze the mushrooms, filter the water from the sediment and sand from the mushrooms.
  • Chop potatoes, carrots, onions arbitrarily. If desired, onions with carrots can be fried.
  • Bulgur or pearl barley, we wash, I do not soak them.
  • Place all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Salt, pepper.

I cooked mushroom soup just like you, only fried carrots and onions in butter. I cut the potatoes into small cubes, because my men do not like when the potatoes are cut coarsely. Instead of pearl barley I added rice, because there is no bulgur. Barley had to be boiled separately, but I had no time to cook it. The soup turned out to be delicious, beautiful from frying.
