Cooking method

  • I bought a farm chicken today, or rather a half of a chicken, we cannot master a whole one (it is 2-2.5 kg and more)
  • And I decided to cook it with vegetables slowly. Why slow?
  • There is a minimum of body movements, and the result exceeds all expectations, the taste and aromas are simply delicious
  • And so, peeled the potatoes, cut them coarsely and put them in a bowl. I added chopped onions, tomatoes and peppers. I added a little oil, spices, dried garlic, salt, mixed well and transferred to the bowl of a slow cooker.

  • I washed the chicken, dried it, sprinkled it with vegetable oil, rubbed it with salt, spices (I have Indian for chicken), mustard, sprinkled with paprika and put it in a slow cooker bowl on the vegetables.

Potatoes i stuffed I put a bit too much, I didn't have bell pepper, put a bigger tomato, 4 medium tomatoes, divided the whole chicken in two and put it on the potatoes. The lid was slightly in contact with the chicken. In general, I stuffed Russell to capacity, turned it on on High (mode 2) for 5 hours, then turned it off and left it to cool.
In the morning everything is so tasty, ready-made, not like last time (another dish, not very successful potatoes, as they were grinded, brownish)
