  • We take apples - peel and cut. Pour apples and a pack of frozen currants into a dry frying pan (if using cherries, be sure to add cinnamon).

The dough is soft, the edges crunch a little. When they cool down - the dough is soft, but keeps its shape. If you add more oil, the dough will be crisper, but also more nutritious.
Any filling can be done. But be aware: the device fries very quickly! My filling remains raw. If I put frozen currants, boneless in starch, then after 4 minutes the dough is ready, and the currants are cold, you can feel starch at the bottom. My sister has the same device, but fries the same pies for about 9 minutes. She has time to grab starch (and then the juice will not flow). My voltage is apparently higher (there is a voltage stabilizer) and in 6 minutes the basket is already on fire. In general, the filling must be used ready-made, otherwise it will remain raw. Even the sugar will crunch.

If you add hot filling, it will boil while the basket is baking and may leak. Therefore, it is better to use warm or cold filling. So you can put a lot of it and it will not leak.

It takes me 30-40 minutes to make baskets (making dough, filling, baking).
Keep refrigerated.

Each basket will take 50 grams. dough, which is 157 calories. Calorie filling (about 1/2 apple, currant, sugar) - 110 calories. In total, each of the 9 baskets of 120 grams has a calorie content of 270 calories.

Here are the bumpers that pinch the edges of the baskets. There are simply cupcake makers, which without these "skirts" - you can't bake pastries with such filling.
VES also produces a passer-by device for 8 baskets. But they are much smaller. I wanted more, so I could put a lot of fillings, and less dough. And it is more convenient to put 4 "baskets" in a hot device than 8 at once ...
