Ingredients

Blue whiting without heads and entrails 500 g
bulb onions 200 gr.
carrot 70 gr.
salt taste
vegetable oil 1 tbsp. l.
water 3 tbsp. l.

  • I don’t know in whose family, but in mine everyone simply adores this seemingly very simple fish! Many cats buy, but we eat ourselves with pleasure. Her taste is so neutral that you can create any dish you want - you won't spoil it. Today - the simplest thing, a fish on a vegetable pillow.
  • Wash the fish and clean it from the heads, entrails, cut off the tails and fins.
  • Peel the vegetables, three carrots on a coarse grater, cut the onion in half rings.
  • Pour a spoonful of oil into a thick-walled form (I love cast-iron pans for these purposes), put the onion, add it, then carrots, again a little salt

  • then tightly fish, again a pinch of salt

  • cover with foil and send to the oven, preheated to 200C for about 30 minutes, until the fish and vegetables are ready. Finally, you can remove the foil and brown our dish under the grill.
  • Everything is extremely simple and fast, and, most importantly, healthy and tasty.
