If anyone remembers, with the blessed memory of the USSR, there was such a chocolate miracle. The cake was unusual in section: it was white biscuit rolls between two chocolate biscuit cakes, layered with chocolate cream, the top of the cake was decorated with chocolate cream and chocolate chips, the sides seemed to be fried biscuit crumbs. The cake was sooooo chocolate, even slightly bitter.

For all my indifference to biscuit cakes, I'll tell you for sure - this one was extraordinarily good.

Methodically dug up the Internet. Everywhere there are recipes for "the very same", but ... they have nothing to do with the "Marika" cake, that is, someone offers to layer the rolls with jam, someone else has condensed milk, and the number of eggs in biscuits for cake from 8 to 14 and for some reason vinegar and for some reason powdered sugar appear.

I remember that the cream was Charlotte, but in one place Seti came across ganage in the recipe and I thought that this is probably closer to the truth.

Dear confectioners veterans, is there a recipe in the bins?
