Ingredients

Filo dough
walnuts 400gr
almonds 100 g
sugar 100gr
Pouring for dough
mineral water 200 ml
sunflower oil 2 tbsp
Baklava syrup
sugar 400gr
water 500 ml
large lemon 1 PC

Cooking method

  • I bring to your attention the recipe for Baklava, how it is prepared in Bosnia.
  • The molding option is the easiest to easily and quickly prepare a delicious dessert for guests or your family.
  • Grind the nuts in a blender to medium grinding so that pieces remain.
  • Mix nuts with 100 grams of sugar.
  • Make a fill.
  • Mix mineral water and oil.
  • We lay the dough sheet, grease it with pouring, lay out the mixture of nuts and sugar, and so on until it reaches the top of the mold.
  • Do not sprinkle the last sheet of dough with nuts, but only moisten it with pouring.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 gr
  • And bake the dough until golden brown.
  • While the baklava is baking, you need to make the syrup.
  • Pour water into a saucepan and put sugar and lemon and cook until the sugar dissolves. I made the syrup in the STEBA DD1 pressure cooker on the Fry mode.
  • When the baklava is baked, pour the syrup and let it stand for 10 minutes, but you can also leave it for longer so that the syrup is completely absorbed
  • When Baklava has cooled down, then she is ready for absorption! Enjoy the oriental sweetness and all Bon appetit!

Check mark, you need so much dough to reach the edge of the form. Calculate as much dough as the shape is. I lost 1 pack of 450 gr.

It is necessary to lubricate well so that the sheets are not dry, rather wet, but not wet. I poured what was left on the last sheet))
And my sheets were thick, those thicker than those that are sold here. You may need to lay two sheets per layer if they are very thin.
In Bosnia, it is baked on a large baking sheet from the oven)
