Ingredients

Red cabbage 800 g
Pork (tenderloin) 400 g
Green apple 1 PC.
Raisins 70 g
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Light balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp. l.
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Salt, black pepper taste

Cooking method

  • This dish can also be cooked on the stove in a saucepan, but I cook it in a slow cooker. It is very simple - from the "put and forget everything" series! That is, your participation in its preparation (apart from the preparation and laying of products) is not required.
  • So, pour vegetable oil on the bottom of the bowl, put pork, cut into small pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Put onion on the meat, cut in half first and then in medium pieces. Put an apple on top, peeled from seeds (and if the skin is thick, then from it) and cut into small pieces. Add washed raisins, sugar. Put the cabbage on top, cut into small thin pieces - the combine helped me with this. Pour balsamic vinegar over the cabbage. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Close the lid (no need to add water!) And turn on the "Extinguishing" mode for 1 hour 30 minutes. That's all! Our pork cabbage is ready!

An unusual, but very tasty dish turns out! Try to cook it, as I once cooked it for my family. And it all started with a recipe that Irina Levitan shared, for which she is very grateful to her (she read it in her turn in the book)! I was very attracted by the unusual combination of products in the recipe, but I made up my mind. True, in the original recipe there is almost 3 times more pork than cabbage, and in the first preparation I cooked that way, but after a while, I adjusted what is called the recipe "to our taste" and ...: nyam: now this dish often appears on our table! A spicy dish with a very pleasant aftertaste!
