Ingredients

Bell pepper 1 kg
Bulb onions 1 kg
Carrot 1 kg

Cooking method

  • Cut tomatoes into slices, onions in half rings (if you like smaller, then everything is in your hands), bell peppers in strips, carrots on a coarse grater (I use a grater for Korean carrots). Mix all ingredients and leave for 7-8 hours. I left it overnight. Already at this stage, you will appreciate the aroma. During this time, the salad will give juice, try it with salt and sugar. In parentheses, I indicated how much it took me in total. By the way, I had 1.5 tbsp of butter left, but I really didn't want to run to the store ...
  • Next, put the salad on the stove and bring it to a boil over medium heat. We boil for 30 minutes. - not more!. Stir 2-3 times during cooking. We do not worry about the density, as the juice becomes more.
  • We put it hot in sterilized jars and close. We wrap it up until it cools.
  • PS. This is my mom's recipe. I love this salad very much. This year I tried to add chopped garlic and parsley in half a portion 10 minutes before the end of cooking. Delicious too.
