Ingredients

Ripe plums are not very soft for 4 liter cans
cinnamon stick 1 PC
carnation 4 things.
sugar 1.2 kg.
vanillin 1/4 tsp
boiling water about 1.5 liters.

Cooking method

  • The recipe is outrageously simple, but it may be useful to someone. It comes out very sweet and slightly spicy. I use the syrup for impregnation and sweet sauces, dilute and drink it like fruit drink, and my household eats plums and so on with pleasure.
  • The calculation is given for 4 liter cans. We sterilize the cans, divide the cinnamon stick into 4 parts, put it in the cans, one clove and washed plums in the same place, as many will fit. Pour boiling water over everything and leave to warm up for literally 5 minutes, then pour the water into a saucepan, add sugar, bring to a boil and completely dissolve the sugar, add vanillin and immediately pour it into the jars and roll up or screw the lids. We wrap it under a clothed for a couple of hours.

The amount of plums and boiling water is given conditionally, since smaller plums enter more, larger ones - less, then boiling water, of course, also in different ways. But I always take so much sugar in this recipe, we love such syrups
