Ingredients

cucumbers 2 Kg
Apple juice 800ml
plum juice 500ml
coniferous branches (pine, juniper, cypress ...) 7-8cm long 8-9 pieces

salt 50g
sugar 50g
dill and currant leaves

Cooking method

  • An original snack and an excellent "medicine for the next day" (relieves hangover). Wash the cucumbers, rinse with boiling water, immediately then with cold water, peel the skin, cut off the ends, cut into slices about 0.5-0.7 cm thick.Set aside 3-4 sprigs of mint and coniferous sprigs (I have a pine, juniper branches with cone-berries, cypress), the rest, along with all the rest of the herbs and garlic, scroll through a meat grinder (at the end, you can scroll 1 apple). Mix the coniferous mass with cucumbers and fill the jars (I have 2 jars of 1.5 liters each), placing the coniferous and mint branches on the bottom. Add salt and sugar to the juice mixture, pour three times with a boiling solution and seal tightly.

  • You can use only apple juice (1.3l), but sour plum juice is still better. I have juice from sour unripe yellow plums. You can do the same with zucchini instead of cucumbers.
