Canned tomatoes with grapes

Ingredients

Small tomatoes 2.5-3 kg
Bulgarian sweet pepper 1 PC
Grapes 1 brush
Hot chili pepper (optional) 1 PC
Garlic 3 cloves
Bay leaf 2-3 pcs
Currant and cherry leaves 3-6 sheets. each
Black pepper and cloves 9 pcs or 3 in each can
Horseradish 1 leaf or piece of root
Dill 3 twigs
For brine (marinade) for 1 three-liter can
Salt 1 tbsp. the spoon
Sugar 1 tbsp. the spoon
Boiled water

Cooking method

  • For 3 liter cans or one 3 liter
  • Rinse vegetables and herbs. Peel sweet peppers from seeds, cut into slices, hot peppers - into pieces or rings (you can with seeds if you like spicy). Separate the grapes from the twigs. Peel the garlic cloves and horseradish root.
  • Canned tomatoes with grapes
  • Put in each jar on the bottom - herbs, spices (I took 1 carnation bud), garlic, hot peppers and horseradish, then - tomatoes, sprinkled with grapes and stick pepper strips into the free space. Sprinkle with sugar and salt. Pour boiling water over and let stand under the lid for 15-20 minutes;
  • Carefully drain the resulting marinade, boil it and pour it over the tomatoes again. Roll up the covers.
  • Store in a dark, cool place (or better, in a basement or a cool closet).
  • If you store tomatoes with grapes at room temperature, then do the same, just cover with brine (marinade) twice. The first time they poured it out - boiled it. The second time they poured it over again, stood for 5 minutes, drained, boiled. The third time was filled and covered with lids.
  • I was afraid to roll tomatoes without vinegar and at the last 3rd pouring (since I store at room temperature) I added vinegar.
  • And this is an improvisation with blue grapes and slightly different spices

Note

I canned tomatoes in 1.5 liter jars. Water in each jar is placed 450-500 g. Salt and sugar take 0.5 table. spoons.
