  • Put cottage cheese in a bowl, beat in an egg, sprinkle with salt and sugar - mix everything well and knead the lumps of cottage cheese.

  • Then add 2 tablespoons of semolina, mix.

  • The mass should turn out to be sticky, not falling apart, but also not spreading.
  • Add sour cream if necessary - if the curd is dry.
  • I decided to add some dried cranberries - for a change (I wanted sourness) ...

  • Prepare a frying pan or slow cooker for frying, turn on, pour oil in a layer of 0.5 cm.
  • Sprinkle flour on the work surface (I have a tray), lay out the curd mass, roll and form a sausage or sausages - for easy cutting and frying.

  • Cut into washers and fry immediately. I fry for 3 minutes on each side with the lid closed.
