Clafoutis with zucchini

Ingredients

Flour 100 g
Corn starch 60 g
Eggs 3 pcs
Cream cheese 70 g
Cream 10% 160 ml
Zucchini 400 g
Red bell pepper 0.25 pcs
Salt, pepper, spices
Frying oil
sprinkling cheese

Cooking method

  • To cover, cut off 16-20 circles 2-3 mm thick from the vegetable marrow, set aside.
  • Cut the remaining zucchini into 2-3 cm cubes, fry them in a well-heated frying pan in a mixture of butter and vegetable oil, not cooking and not allowing the juice to release. Remove from heat, sprinkle with salt, seasonings, stir.
  • Clafoutis with zucchini
  • In a bowl, beat eggs with cream cheese, add flour and starch, dilute with cream and stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • The dough is slightly thicker than the pancake dough.
  • Lightly grease a glass or ceramic baking dish and sprinkle with semolina or breadcrumbs. Put the zucchini in it, sprinkle them with finely chopped bell peppers and pour over the dough. Spread the deferred zucchini circles on top, grease them with melted butter so as not to dry out.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180C for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and sprinkle immediately with grated cheese.

Note

Evaluate the degree of pre-frying the zucchini to your taste - if you like al dente vegetables, then fry it lightly, otherwise fry it almost until tender.
