Ingredients

Chicken thighs (1000-1100g) 5 medium
Chicken Spice Mix:
Salt 1h l. b / slides

Cooking method

  • There is a thunderstorm outside, a downpour walled, damp and gloomy ... Immediately I wanted something tasty (well ... I always want) ... and preferably something hot and fried! Better yet, have someone else cook it for me ...
  • Well, let's call Shteba!
  • So, everything is peasant-style simple, satisfying and sooo tasty, believe me!
  • In order not to mess around for a long time, we will not marinate the chicken, but simply rinse it, dry it with paper towels and spread it with a mixture of spices, which are indicated in the ingredients (well, or any others of your choice).
  • We turn on the Fry for 30 minutes, pour a little oil into the pan and put our thighs with the skin down. That's it, we forget about them and don't touch them at all until 10 minutes remain on the scoreboard. Now turn the chicken over and fry for another 5 minutes. Then we cover the pan with a lid, close the valve and cook the chicken for the remaining 5 minutes under slight pressure, which will immediately be typed. In the meantime, we ourselves peel and cut the potatoes into medium pieces, and mix it with turmeric (for a golden delicious color) and Provencal herbs. Do not salt! There is already enough salt in chicken juice.
  • As soon as the time runs out, we immediately begin to slowly relieve the pressure so that the chicken no longer steamed, otherwise a lot of juice will come out of it.
  • Here's how pretty it turns out:

  • We put it on a plate, cover with some kind of bowl so that it does not cool down. We turn on the Fry again for 15 minutes and throw our potatoes into the pan with the juice and tasty butter remaining from the chicken (if you find too much fat, drain as much as you think is necessary. Or remove the finished potatoes with a slotted spoon so that the excess oil remains in the pan). Without covering, fry it until tender, stirring from time to time. This will take about 15 minutes (not on the scoreboard).
  • Quickly cut a salad and serve everything to the table.
  • Look what kind of potatoes it turned out - it was all soaked in juice from the chicken and became tender, but crispy:
