Ingredients

fig 220 g
sugar 60 g
milk 115ml
fat cream 60 ml
water (if necessary for fresh fruit) 60 ml

Cooking method

  • Fig trees, figs are a well-known tree and fruits, which in antiquity abounded in Judea and which are often indicated in the Holy Scriptures. In one of the types of fig trees, according to natural scientists, the branches reach 4 and 5 feet in length and up to 3 in width, which is why the shade of the fig tree was highly valued in the East, and the expression "sitting under a fig tree" allegorically meant peace and prosperity. One of the special properties of the fig tree is that the fruit appears on it without any sign of flowering and even before the leaves.
  • Many people are familiar with the name figs, however, this is far from the only name for this wonderful culture. It is called a fig tree, fig tree, wine berry, fig, Smyrna berry, or simply fig.
  • Figs contain a huge amount of trace elements: copper, iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, as well as vitamins A, B. And it will take a lot of time to list its useful and medicinal properties!
  • Let us also touch this ancient fruit and make ice cream from it.
  • If you use fresh berries, then you need to add very little water. We will prepare it from dried figs, as Croats do most often.
  • 1. Grind the fig in a blender. Fig (fig) ice cream

  • 3. Put the resulting cream in a container, close the lid and put it in the freezer or ice cream maker.
  • Before serving, move the ice cream container from the freezer to the refrigerator.

  • The ice cream is oily, thick and easily holds its shape, does not spread. Decorate with pieces of figs, nuts - they go well with figs.
