I already have 5 years-BEURER. cool !!!

I also have BEURER KS42, I've been using it for 3-4 years, I don't remember exactly. The only negative is that the battery (tablet) runs out quickly, I change it somewhere in 7-8 months. Although it may be normal
Sandy
I have a Kenwood scale, some white ones with round glass (broke) began to show only up to 200 grams, the second of a shiny steel color with square glass, so these have been working well for 3.5 years, for sure, the battery rarely sits down there so square.

and the model?

I have Binaton, I have been using it for the seventh year. I changed the batteries two or three times. I like it very much. There are still a bunch of buttons for counting calories in the product, but I have never used them.

I, too, have them, exact, I will not say anything here, only recently they began to annoy. Firstly, the buttons are not on top, but on the front side edge, and when you need to turn off the scales, you need not just press the button, but press and hold it down for a few seconds. And when I do this, the pressure force is not from above (as it would be if the buttons were on top), but sideways, and the scales, infections, slide on the table. We have to hold them on the opposite side so that they don't run away far. And you also need to hold for three seconds, maybe four, and this is so annoying, these seconds last as much as ten. I would now choose not to have two buttons, as on mine, but more, so that there are no several functions on one button. In mine, for example, this button, which I described, by pressing and holding it turns off the scales, and if you just press it, it turns it on, or if they are already on and press it once, it resets the weight of something standing on them.
I recently bought a Dex scale, very pretty, like this, I asked here before buying
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=420.0
there were two modifications, smaller (they were bought, as their future owner wished), but they have two buttons, though on top, but you also have to hold and wait, while others are larger, and there are 4 buttons. Here they are, I think, are turned off by simply pressing one of them.
Bribed that this is Dex, that is, an exchange guarantee. And the guarantee is for 24 months. If something happens to them during this time, then they change to new ones or if not, then others or a refund, then you really need to have a reliable store on this account. I took all my Dex (cartoon, mixer) in Dexline.
By the way, I do not know if the girl whom Dex gave the scales used, I will not say how accurate, but after my post they wrote that there is a similar design, that they are accurate.

Tan, but I don't turn off the scales - I just leave them, they turn off by themselves - it's so convenient for me, anyway the battery lasts for a long time.
I'm happy with these scales - they are really accurate, so everything else is trifles

It is also an option. Toko doesn’t work for me, probably because of the education I received in Soviet times. According to him, I am an ECONOMIST engineer.

IMHO - I love scales without a bowl: they take up less space, and since all scales now have a taring function, you can weigh it right away in the dishes in which you cook or in the bucket of a bread machine. For those who use an electric vibrating sieve, I strongly advise against using flat scales on a "leg", I have several of them and have thrown out almost all of them, they are unstable, and the dishes slide off when vibrating. My latest purchase:

I didn't catch up with Shoto ... And what's the difference to scales, weigh flour or weigh liquid? There are also different densities of liquid, but I cannot tie it to the scales ... Please clarify, I am ignorant. I lagged behind progress ...

Sveta, I think something else was meant. I have a Startex scale, they weigh and give the result either in grams or in milliliters - there is a button that switches either gr, ml milk, or ml water. It happens in recipes that something is in grams and something is indicated in ml - very convenient.

Aaaaaaa ... this is me, the village is not asphalted ... ....
I draw attention to this only for vegetable oil, which has a lower specific gravity than water. Everything else is absolutely uncritical! and in liquids almost always grams correspond to milliliters. Therefore, I consider this function superfluous (deep IMHO), why overpay for this?
dopleta
Svetta, absolutely agree with you! I have different scales, including those with this function, but precisely because only water has a weight of 1 ml = 1 g, I also consider this function superfluous.

That is, I will not be able to weigh 100 ml of juice, 100 ml of water, 100 oil, for example? Will there be the same volume in a measuring cup?
vera_111
The scales cost 75 UAH. - much cheaper? And the function is practically useless, I agree - mine are always set at grams, in a couple of years I have used at most five times.

I also consider ml and g to be superfluous, except that there is already this function. The translation plate for different products can always be found in the internet and attached to the refrigerator. And if you need to be absolutely precise, you can measure it yourself once and for all.

I weigh almost everything. When I cook compote in a large saucepan with a thick bottom, then it itself is more than 3 kg ... I put it, tare, then in it the necessary berries / fruits + sugar. But this is because I have scales up to 5 kg. If would have been before 3, then no one canceled the light weighing bowl. When I make jam the same. That is, I use it extremely rarely, so you can get by with a maximum of 3 kg.

I wouldn't take plastic and wood, IMHO.

Your criteria are strange. Either you emphasize the color of the scales, then the material.
The scales must weigh.
Weigh with an error no more than the one that suits you.
Weigh within the weight you plan to weigh.
After removing the weighed load, the display should show zero. After the return of the load - show the same weight as the first time.
Work (digitize) and show the result quickly enough, 1-2 seconds, no more. Otherwise, pouring or pouring, reaching directly on the scales to the desired weight, you will have to pause.
If there is a tare zeroing function, the built-in weighing pan is not needed. If necessary, put your own, which at that moment will be more convenient than others.
Look like that's it. Well, there should also be convenience in storing them. Places to take up less. On the wall, the ability to hang or put compactly. Themselves to have the lungs. And to always be at hand.
I now have Zelmer - it passes all of the above criteria + self-shutdown in time after a correct pause. There is also Tefal, bought before, it works too, but much worse.

Where about the color, do not understand ??? And the material is also quite important, the quality and care of the scales depends on it.

To be honest, I don't see any connection between material and weighing accuracy. And sobssno, what is the care? You are not planning to "look after" them with boiling water. And even wooden ones will withstand a damp cloth!
Libra is not a cow, why choose them so meticulously ??? IMHO.

And I bought a very accurate Hario V60 coffee scale, I compare the readings with jewelry small ones, they show one to one.

But I just bought such a solar-powered scale. It is a pity that I bought these "solar panels". (n) I didn't like the scales at work. They need good lighting, which is not always available. And I also didn't like how they weigh the products, the measurements jump a lot and you have to wait a long time until they stabilize. Well, not that long, but I'm not so used to it. It is a pity that at first I did not read the reviews on the market. In short, I do not advise. Although outwardly I really liked them.

Good day Dear forum users.
Please help me to choose the weights. Maybe someone uses any of these models?
There is a model that would be consistently weighing and measuring the volume of a liquid?
The goals are, of course, accurate weighing of both liquid and bulk solids. For home use.

Explain to me how you can measure the volume of a liquid on a scale?

Dividing the measured weight by the density.
Gasoline 0.71
Ethyl alcohol 0.789
Water 1
Carbon tetrachloride 1.584

I do not recommend weighing the latter - it is a highly poisonous thing. And as volatile as acetone. I worked with him once ...

How does the balance find the density of a liquid?
Countryman
I think so - the user should ask.
I was not interested in how to set the density. I do not need it. The default is water. In any case, on Tefala.
But I don't like them at all. After each activation, the "commercial break" is arranged, blinking with all the colors of the rainbow. The measurement is slow, therefore the fillayou need to be quiet until you need it.
I hardly use them. Moved to Zelmer. These are excellent in every way. Only they don't have the "volume" option. Well, fuck with her, it didn't hurt, and I wanted to.

In my opinion, the volume measurement option is generally complete nonsense, why measure the volume of water if 1 ml of water = 1 g?
