I wonder if the bowl is as fast as the 0527?
I just wanted to ask about it, I have an indestructible bowl in Supra, I bought Polaris, I only use it for cooking vegetables
Anastasenok
Well, I bought a rip a2 from Redmond for my Polaris. But it's not the case such bowls are
Zinfandel
I bought this slow cooker. Why:
1. Because of the impossibly convenient control: now there are more-less buttons and arrows and in any modes there is on-the-fly control.
2. Due to the possibility of controlling the multi-cook "by condition" (by boiling water, by boiling water, upon reaching the set temperature).
3. Bowl PIP 0503K, as in 0517 and 0527. At the office. website 🔗
Therefore, a non-stick Teflon bowl without handles Polaris PIP 0501 and a similar Redmond, as well as a steel Redmond (I don't remember the numbers), are suitable. One of the purchase arguments was the interchangeability of these bowls, because at home there are already Polaris 0517 and 0531 with additional normal bowls. And also you can always buy additional bowls. (ATTENTION! The spring under the bowl is very tight, so empty light bowls without handles do not push it. If there is no contact between the bowl and the heating element, the multicooker will turn off at best, and at worst it will burn out)
4. On "Multipovar Plus" temperature adjustment: 0 ° C! (inactive phase, pause in work, you can remove the bowl) and from 30 ° C to 160 ° C with variable steps.
- 5 ° С in the range from 30 ° С up to 90 ° С (proofing of dough, yogurt, kefir, sour cream, cottage cheese, sous-vide, languor, pasteurization);
2 ° C from 90 ° С to 110 ° С (it is convenient to adjust the boiling degree);
- 10 ° С from 110 ° С to 160 ° С.
5. On "Frying in Oil" temperature 150-170°С, step 10 ° С
So far, first impressions.
In terms of body, screen and list of modes, this multicooker is identical to 0527, but control is more logical and more convenient. Difference: the sensor in the cover is placed outside in the form of a pin. Apparently, for more accurate readings.
I used it in the usual way, pressing the buttons. Well, very convenient control.
I will clarify whether the algorithms for Krupa and Plov work in automatic mode. The instructions in the pivot table about Plov say that the program is Auto, but the descriptive part of the Krupa and Plov modes does not say about this.
Manna
Zinfandel, congratulations on the new cartoon. Happy mastering! Looking forward to your further impressions!

Very interesting mulychka, I will follow the topic. I am very interested in programs for evaporating liquid, if there is onyx, I read the instructions, while there are many questions!

Thank you for your congratulations!

After the husband's shamanism in the computer and router settings, the multicooker is now connected via the home network without problems.
There are two applications for the multicooker. One is called "0225: service" to identify the current software version.
The application for controlling the multicooker is called "WiFi evo0225".

From the application, you can launch and manage preset modes that duplicate buttons, as well as program Multipovar Plus; you can see what stage is currently taking place and, interestingly, the mode temperature is shown. This is not a real temperature, but what it should be. For example, at the end of the mode and when switching to heating, 73 degrees are written in the application. The multicooker reports a change in its work and this text is visible even when the phone screen is locked. In general, everything is for the lazy! You lie like that in the room and observe, once again without taking off the priests.

Application: when setting the Multipovar Plus mode, you need to click on the blue saucepan picture (between the "upload photo" circle and the recipe name field) and select the recipe category. At first I thought that this saucepan is as a design, but this is a functional button.

The modes Pilaf, Krupa, Milk porridge want to be well-oiled and "smart" so as not to interfere with the process during the entire cooking process and get the expected result at the output. Therefore, I will comment on these modes.

On another forum, the representative of Polaris alexSUNder explained to me about the algorithms "Plov" and "Krupa":
- Pilaf (auto) - when the rice absorbs all the water, the temperature below will rise to the threshold.
- The algorithm is different on the "Krupa" program. There is no abrupt reset of the program, after reaching the threshold value, the voltage is simply removed from the heating element. (I understand that the heating element continues to heat, but gently. The groats continue to whine.) The program may turn off earlier than the set time, it may not turn off. This will depend on the temperature measured by the sensor.

- Milk porridge (I cooked classic rolled oats, half milk with water), according to my observations, goes at least in two stages: I measured it twice with a thermometer. First, heating up to about 96 degrees, there is active bubbling on the verge of boiling, but the milk does not rise. Then the temperature drops to 93 degrees. and the porridge stops boiling. So mummies don't have to worry: milk is boiled in this mode, I believe. The porridge was cooked faster than in 0517 with the same amount of products.

To understand how the Multipovar works with logical conditions I copy here the text of Alexander alexSUNder from a neighboring forum (I hope he will forgive me), a technical consultant, an engineer for multicooker Polaris. It was in the topic about the Wi-Fi 0125D Multicooker-Pressure Cooker, but the principle, as I understand it, is the same.

You can program the Fry and Soup in the Multi Cook:

Stage 1 - setting the temperature for frying (we choose sufficient time, in the process you can add / subtract the time of the stage without resetting the program),
Stage 2 - a pause for removing / adding food / water / washing the bowl (setting the temperature to "0" means a pause in operation, you can set / change the pause duration, during a pause you can remove the bowl - the program will not be reset),
Stage 3 - setting the temperature so that the water boils (for example, 120 degrees), this will be preliminary boiling, and set the condition: "water is boiling - go to the next stage."
Stage 4 - setting the temperature below the boiling point. This will be soup.
Wi-Fi multicooker Polaris EVO 0225

When the temperature for boiling and the condition "Water is boiling - transition to the next stage" is set at the stage, heating is performed first, then the condition for the transition to the next stage of the program is processed by the presence of steam. If at the next stage the temperature is set below the boiling point, heating stops and the temperature gradually drops to a new level.
Accordingly, there will be no prolonged seething. But, since the system "ten" - "bowl" - "product" - "sensor" is inertial, it takes time to work out the commands.
The automatic cooking programs with preliminary boiling work in the same way.

- You can change the settings for the time (for all programs) and the cooking temperature (for the programs “Fry”, “Fry in oil”, “Multi-cook Plus”) during the program.

- Disabling / enabling the automatic transition to the HEATING mode can be carried out repeatedly by the "Start" sensor before the start of the program and during the course of the program.
Manna
Zinfandel, thanks for the reports. How will you try remote and logical (step-by-step) control, share your impressions.
Laslovna
Isn't it really tricky to change the temperature settings during operation? It seems to me very convenient that you can change the temperature regime of any program. For example, milk porridge runs, lowered the temperature and everything is in order. Although from this it follows that there is no algorithm on the programs!
Zinfandel
Manna,
experimented on water, understood how these conditions work. I got to food.
The first thing that was required was the "Water boiled away" condition. Without further ado, I stewed cabbage with all sorts of cold cuts on Frying, Stewing. It turned out that the cabbage was almost ready, but there was a lot of liquid left. I pulled out the valve from the lid and put the Multipovar in two stages: stage 1 - 120 degrees, time with a margin of 15 minutes, condition "Water has boiled away", go to the next stage; Stage 2 - 0 degrees, the minimum possible time is 5 minutes. You could no longer follow and leave the kitchen. Convenient. Next time you can start a Multi-Cook with four stages, where the first stage is frying. When the temperature reaches 160 degrees, receive a message to book vegetables. Lay the cabbage at the end of the frying mode so that it warms up faster. The second stage is the extinguishing temperature of 94 degrees, then the two stages that I described. During stewing, you will need to come up and mix. At this time, on the fly, you can adjust the time and temperature of frying and stewing.
But there is an easier way. We lower the extinguishing mode. We mean that while the vegetables are fried, the process is controlled, we do not leave the multicooker. When the vegetables are fried and the cabbage warms up, but the time of the first stage is not over yet, we reduce the temperature on the fly to 94-96 degrees. and set the time for extinguishing.Everything, you can no longer follow.
Wi-Fi multicooker Polaris EVO 0225
Laslovna,
on preinstalled programs, only the time is changed on the fly. They go through their debugged algorithm. The temperature changes on the preset programs "Frying", "Frying in oil" within a limited range according to the cooking logic. “Multicooker Plus” is in the range from 0 to 160 degrees, but this is already creativity, not an algorithm sewn into a multicooker.

For example, milk porridge runs, lowered the temperature and everything is in order. Although from this it follows that there is no algorithm on the programs!
If the escape takes place in the Milk porridge mode, then there is only one way out: quickly turn off the multicooker and remove the bowl from the heating element, fortunately, there are handles.
The sensor is in the lid: for it to work correctly, try not to open the multicooker once again in this mode.

Isn't it really tricky to change the temperature settings during operation?
I can say that I practically use the Multi-Cook. It is because of the ability to change settings in the process. (Of the preinstalled programs, only Krupa auto, Pilaf auto, Milk porridge are in use) In my old multicooker on the Multipovar, both temperature and time change "on the fly". This multicooker has even more convenient and logical control.
Zinfandel
I use it and enjoy it. Universal device! Conditional transition is the user given the opportunity to create their own algorithms. And the pre-installed programs have been worked out and thought out by engineers who know how to cook.
You can ask logical condition: specific temperature... Tadam!
If the condition is met, we choose from three possible transition options:
- heating;
- the next step;
- notification.
Wi-Fi multicooker Polaris EVO 0225
For example, sous-vid: I want the meat to cook for 5 hours. I put a piece of meat in a slow cooker in a vacuum, fill it with cold water, set a condition: after the water temperature is heated to 65 degrees, cook at this temperature for 5 hours. This is how it looks on the screen. The first stage is the condition "Oil is boiling" and 65 degrees - the transition to the next stage. The second stage is 5 hours at a temperature of 65 degrees. All!
Wi-Fi multicooker Polaris EVO 0225

A similar algorithm with the stage of the condition when a certain temperature is reached can be used when pasteurization milk.
1. The dishes must be sterilized beforehand. In a bowl, you can simply boil water with the lid closed.
2. Pour out the water. Allow the bowl to cool slightly before pouring milk so as not to spoil the ceramic coating with sudden temperature changes. The heating element will also drop the heat during this time. Pour milk and put the bowl in a slow cooker.
3. We heat the milk to a temperature of 65 degrees.
4. Keep milk at this temperature for about 30 minutes. Stir sometimes so that the milk warms up evenly.
(If you heat the milk to 75 degrees, then keep the temperature for 15 minutes.)
Then it is recommended to rapidly chill the milk.
If you need to pour milk from the bowl, then use a sterilized container.
She consulted on sourdough cultures. A specialist recommended to me: if you make yoghurt using self-pasteurized milk, then this should be done immediately after pasteurization, cooled to the desired temperature, otherwise pathogenic microflora can grow.

Comment. At the stages with the condition, we set the time with a margin, so that the multicooker warms up to the set temperature before the stage ends.

And how the programs are generally configured, you have already prepared something. How do touch modes work, correctly? As for me, the manual settings are an addition to the multicooker, albeit good. A multicooker is a well-regulated program for me. You pressed the button and you rest! I am very spoiled by the mood for the cartoon as a whole if one or two programs do not work correctly, of course you can simply not use these modes, but there remains some feeling of either dissatisfaction or disappointment. Therefore, I still have not found my mulychka, about which we can say that this is the ideal slow cooker for me! Please share your impressions, very interesting!

How do touch modes work, correctly?

Here's what I've used on the pre-installed ones so far:

Groats. Cooked rice. She poured one third less cold water than usual (for the experiment) and put it on for 40 minutes. The liquid has evaporated after 15 minutes from the beginning, but the multicooker has worked out its time. The rice turned out to be aldente, but, most importantly, nothing was burnt, the bottom of the cereal dried up. I think when the liquid disappears, an algorithm is triggered to lower the temperature somewhere to the heating level. It did not come to auto-off. I was glad, added water and cooked on Multipovar.
The next time, without any experiment, I cooked, as expected, buckwheat for a side dish in the correct proportion for buckwheat 1: 2. It's okay.

Pilaf. Again, I specially added about one third less water, the time was 40 minutes. The cartoon has worked out its time, the Rice is boiled to perfect softness, but the zirvak is too fried. It did not come to auto-off. Now I see that here the heating after evaporation of the liquid did not fall as low as on Krupa, so the rice continued to cook, and the meat continued to fry from below. You need less time, 30-35 minutes.
I have already cooked pilaf without experiments, the time is 35 minutes - the meat from the bottom is slightly fried, the cereals are normal.

For myself, I concluded that, subject to the correct proportions, the multicooker works out the Plov program correctly.

Milk porridge flawlessly. She cooked rolled oats and millet. I cook in 1: 1 diluted milk with 3.2% fat. The milk always boils first, bubbles, but does not rise.

Frying in oil. Fried a lot of onions and carrots for pilaf at 170 degrees. Usually, multicooker has a limit of 160 degrees. These added 10 deg. not superfluous, active frying. Warmed up a closed bowl of oil. If there is not enough oil, then there is a chance that the bowl will not squeeze the spring and hang over the heating element. A closed lid with a guarantee will press the bowl. And according to the rules, warming up with the lid closed, frying with the open one.

I also cooked a casserole, but I do it in two stages on a multi-cook. First 120 degrees, then 70 degrees. No complaints.

I try to understand the "direction of thought" of any of my slow cookers, because the names of programs for different mullets may be the same, but the algorithms are different. Therefore, I asked the engineer Polaris Alexander (thanks to him for his help), what is the principle behind the Krupa and Plov programs.

ZinfandelHow will you try remote and logical (phased) control, share your impressions.
The impression of the new opportunities is extremely positive.
Control from a smartphone or tablet is very logical and simple, it does not cause any difficulties.
One of today's tricky uses. Dried pasta was lying in the refrigerator. To revive them, you need to warm them up in water, or better steam them. Choice: under the lid in a frying pan (watch it) or in the microwave. I put the pasta in a slow cooker, add a little water and oil, set the condition "the water has boiled away" and ... I am distracted by my friend. The multicooker squeaked, as a result fresh pasta, a little baked. You will not get these from the microwave, only in a frying pan, which must be monitored.
Conditional transitions are embedded in any multicooker, otherwise the algorithms of the programs would be built. But now we were allowed to "steer." The usefulness of conditionals is undeniable. But this multicooker not only expands the possibilities, it also frees up time and head, allows you to be distracted from cooking without damage. This is especially true for those who do several things at the same time. You spend less time in the kitchen, just set the algorithm correctly: the multicooker will switch to the next step or remind of itself when necessary. There is no itching thought in my head: "We must not forget, the multicooker works in my kitchen!" I don't think this is a toy for me at first. I will use these functions regularly. And one more plus - the feeling of complete control, the multicooker is always under supervision, because I am used to carrying my phone around the apartment everywhere.
I watched the 0125 model even earlier, only the Temka died out. I was not happy with the pressure hybrid.(For these purposes, I have a separate Brand 6060 pressure cooker with a powerful fry.) With the hybrid I was alarmed by the propping of the lid from the inside. Maybe this is not a problem at all, but I didn't want any problems.
Development in multi-cooker construction has stalled. One profanity: "20 programs, 30 programs, 40 programs!" It seems to me that this is a new round of evolution, and not a useless crossing of two devices. Wi-Fi is not a goal, but a convenient alternative management tool.

UV, technical tests and report with conclusions, not temka. I hope someone will help to understand the device and whether he needs it or not.

Groats. Cooked rice. She poured one third less cold water than usual (for the experiment) and put it on for 40 minutes. The liquid has evaporated after 15 minutes from the beginning, but the multicooker has worked out its time
As I understood the mode is automatic, the time is set, there is no sensor for boiling off the liquid, no matter how much product the multicooker puts in, it will work the time task, right?
Zinfandel
Touch mode is usually like this. The time for the mode is not set. The liquid boils away. The countdown begins. Usually 5-10 minutes. The groats are dried, the bottom is fried.

Here is another principle. The time in this mode is adjustable, but the multicooker switches to heating due to the boiling off of all the liquid.

As I understood the Krupa mode.
First, there is intense heating. After reaching the preset threshold value, the voltage is removed from the heating element. The heating element cools down, the heating temperature is maintained, that is, when the free liquid is evaporated, the multicooker switches to soft heating for further boiling of the grain and works like this until the end of the time.
Therefore, with a lack of liquid and too much time, my rice did not burn, but dried out from the bottom. That is, if you need to undercooked rice (for example, for stuffed cabbage), you must not only reduce the amount of liquid, but also reduce the time - set not 40 minutes, but 15-20 minutes. When I cooked cereal and water in the correct proportion, the side dish turned out to be boiled and crumbly.
The program may shut down earlier than the specified time. This will depend on the temperature measured by the sensor. It will shut down, probably, if the liquid was initially critically small.
Manna
Zinfandelthank you dear for the reports! Very interesting! I like logical controls. Maybe I'll play with such a slow cooker somehow. I think it's convenient.
Zinfandel
Mannochka,
It turned out a lot of letters, this is from my research enthusiasm. You might think he's a PR guy.
It was interesting for me to figure it out for the first few days, but now the multi has come to work: I use it actively, including conditional transitions, in a casual way. Liked to warm up the second courses on the condition "The water has boiled away". I add a little water and sometimes oil. It tastes better than microwaved.
Irlarsen
Do I understand correctly that in 225, unlike 125, there are no modes under pressure? Why did you decide to abandon the functions of a pressure cooker?
Zinfandel
Irlarsen,
The manufacturer produces two devices with Wi-Fi: 0225 multicooker and 0125 multicooker-pressure cooker.
If the question is about my choice in favor of just a multicooker?
It is rational to cook a limited list of dishes in a pressure cooker. The product is cooked under pressure at a temperature of plus or minus 117 degrees. Not all dishes can withstand such overheating and lose their taste. The same dishes cooked in a slow cooker or in a pressure cooker will taste differently. You can't put your nose into a pressure cooker and check, try, report. But the pressure cooker must be on the farm. It is good when it is possible to effectively fry in it (for example, vegetables for soup). It's good when it is 6 liters (steamed vegetables and a lot at once). I most often use a pressure cooker for cooking cabbage soup (I hate this smell during cooking), steamed vegetables (beets are especially happy - I don't smell it again). It is still good to cook in a pressure cooker something that takes a long time to cook: stew, fish (like canned food), baked milk, legumes, pea soup, barley. These are all dishes by type: abandoned products, turned on and forgot. Or: fried, and then threw the rest of the products, turned on and forgot.Taking into account the set and release of pressure, a gain in time compared to a pan without pressure cannot be obtained when cooking something that does not take very long to cook.
A slow cooker is a saucepan: twirl and twirl, do whatever you want with it. But if it has a pressure cooker lid and functions, then a physics problem arises for the manufacturer, how to implement the steam outlet through the valve. It happens that with active heating, pressure arises in the hybrid, since the steam does not have time to be removed through the valve, the lid is propped up by pressure from the inside and it cannot open, although the mode is not a pressure cooker. Therefore, the user must think in advance, is he using too much heating? So I don't want to bother and think about it. So far, all hybrids that I know suffer from this to a greater or lesser extent.
So while for me a pressure cooker with a frying mode is separate, a multicooker is separate.
Irlarsen
Thank you for such a detailed answer. I'll think
Zinfandel
For completeness, I want to add that the manufacturer gives a three-year warranty on the EVO 0225, which is very good.
Zinfandel
Applying a boolean condition. I have a lot of berries in the freezer. Now I gradually transfer it to a drink with pulp. I use steel bowl. Pour boiling water over a portion of the berries (I do not fill the entire bowl, but about a third of the volume), slightly crush the berries with an immersion blender. In the cartoon I set the condition "The water is boiling." The berries boil with water and the multicooker turns off. The main thing is that the berries are not boiled. I use a blender to grind everything to a puree state. The boiled berries are ground very well. I dilute the resulting puree to the desired consistency with boiled water in a cup. Sugar is added to taste by everyone.
This I have read about devices: multi-blenders, soup cookers, soy cows, etc.
Manna
Zinfandel, and you checked the accuracy of the triggering of the condition, the berries really do not boil, but only boil?
Zinfandel
Manna,
in a steel bowl exactly only boil, no gurgles, only small air bubbles on the walls of the bowl. Perhaps, in a native bowl with a different heat capacity, it will at least begin to gurgle. I set the boiling condition as the first stage, the temperature "0" as the second stage, which means turning off the heating element. The second stage is needed, because there is no choice of the end of work after the fulfillment of the logical condition. At the transition to the second stage of the cartoon, it tinkles - a signal for me that the liquid has reached a boil.

I made 1 kg pork chop using sous vide technology. It turned out in 4 stages.
1. Condition: reaching 65 degrees.
2.65 hail. 5:00
3. Condition: the water is boiling
4.100 deg. 5 minutes.
Then I quickly cool it in cold water.

I do not fry ready-made meat, but at the end of cooking I do a short boiling stage to warm up the surface layer for disinfection. I'm so calmer.

Sadly, in El-do the price is 14,999 rubles. I think, when the cartoon becomes cheaper, other users will appear in the theme ...

And then let's be here together. All the same, I chose 125. Now I am mastering it. They are similar

Irlarsen,

Oh, how good it is! And then I'm here with myself quietly conducting a conversation
How do you use conditional transitions?
Irlarsen
Let `s together!!!!
Transitions by condition - it's just some kind of holiday !!!! I generally cease to understand why other multicooker is bought. The programs are discussed, the program "cutlets" !!!! Compote program. And what you want with us, it will be
I don't use standard programs at all. All on condition. Why should I think about how, for example, the paste program works? The cooking time is written on the packet, I set the condition for the water to boil and then the right time. Or the water has boiled away !!! Well these are sensory programs. Generally class! You can, instead of the time on the pasta, the condition the water boiled away. Or oil is boiling for suvid. Quite 5 degree step d is left for suvid
Zinfandel
Conditional transitions are THING! Of the programs I often use Milk porridge, Krupa and Plov. I do the rest on Multipovar.
When I want to pin up guests, I say that I have a slow cooker with Wai-Fai. At first they do not believe, they think that this is a joke. Then a stupor. Then they begin to giggle at me and say almost the same thing: "Does the multicooker go to the store too and puts the food in?" Here are freaks, they do not even imagine how convenient it is.
Have you tried to surprise your acquaintances?
Irlarsen
Aha! It's a lot of fun to watch the reaction. Usually a drooping jaw and a dull misunderstanding of what was said .... We have no one here at all !!!! And here I am with 10 cartoons and the last one with wi-fi. They twist at the temple ...

How does your application work? For me, if the application is closed (someone called, for example), and in general it is stupid to keep the open application on the screen all the time of cooking. So, if you close, then after 2-3 minutes the application loses connection with the multicooker. Messages do not arrive until the application is reopened. I already wrote in support, like they promised to think about it. After all, the meaning of receiving a message a couple of minutes before moving to another stage is lost with such work. now, if the phone is in your pocket and you will be greeted, they say, come and add cabbage to the borscht, it's time, it will be a service!
So I'm not really worried. You can also ask Siri, she does not forget, she watches! But still it would be cooler with the application

How does your application work?
I somehow didn't think about it ... I need to check what will happen if I talk on the phone while the application is running. I have an android on my phone.
I mostly use an apple tablet, so there are no problems with interrupting calls. When I'm at home, I mostly use my computer and my tablet is nearby.
boriskas
I constantly make pilaf on it, it turns out decently and it takes very little time to cook, the taste and appearance constantly stimulate the appetite, I would eat and eat, I recommend it to everyone.
Irlarsen
And from the tablet how? Don't you close the program? Try to start cooking and, well, go on a safari or do something else on your tablet. After a couple of minutes, my connection is interrupted, the light starts blinking. If the application is opened again, the connection is restored.
