Ingredients

For 3 servings:
bitter chocolate 100 g
Milk 200 ml
Expresso Coffee * 50 ml per serving
Cream 33% ppm 150 ml
Cocoa powder or grated chocolate for decoration

Cooking method

  • Bicerin or Turin Coffee is an Italian dessert drink that appeared in Turin in the 18th century. Delicious dessert. At the same time, it is prepared very easily at home.

  • Pour the milk into a small ladle. Break the chocolate into pieces and add to the milk.
  • Heat the milk and chocolate, stirring frequently, until the chocolate is melted and bring to a boil. Boil until thickened for 3-4 minutes.
  • Whip the cream until fluffy.
  • Fill 1/3 glasses with hot chocolate mass.
  • Then gently, on the back of the spoon, so that the dessert has a sharp border, pour 50 ml of coffee per serving.
  • Place the whipped cream over the coffee.
  • Decorate the dessert with cocoa powder or grated chocolate and serve hot with a straw.
  • There are two options for using this dessert:
  • 1. through the straw, drawing in the drink and moving the straw from the bottom up to capture all layers.
  • 2. Mix all layers at once with a spoon or straw.

Natalia., coffee with ice cream is Glasse. The coffee can be hot or cold. But what about chocolate? I sometimes add chocolate syrup. You can try adding hot chocolate, but probably the whole drink is then better done in a hot version. Try it and tell us.
