Schwarzwaldbecher or Glass of the Black Forest

Ingredients

cottage cheese 250g
milk 125 ml
sugar 50 g
vanilla sugar 1 sachet
cream 33 or 35% 150 ml
canned cherries 0.5 cans
dark chocolate 50 g
cherry juice
corn starch 2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Mix curd, milk sugar and vanilla sugar.
  • Whip the cream and add to the curd mass. Leave some of the cream for decoration.
  • Bring juice from canned cherries to a boil over the fire.
  • Dissolve the starch with a little cold juice and pour into the hot cherry juice and stir until it thickens (like a jelly). Add cherries.
  • Allow to cool.
  • Grate chocolate.
  • Let's start laying the layers:
  • 1) cherry
  • 2) cottage cheese
  • 3) grated chocolate.
  • Then alternate the layers.
  • Top with whipped cream and chocolate.
  • Best served chilled.

You can add broken cookies to the dessert (I added). Liked.
