We bought such a model this week, so while I'm testing the modes, and my husband swears that I cook a lot)))) asks to stop, but I can't, I'm new to this topic, this is my first MB, so I can't give a professional assessment, earlier I used only a steamer when they went to buy, I just wanted a multicooker, but I didn't know which company and model, the price category was 6-8 thousand, but after consulting with the seller, we found out that there are induction, that they are different from other steamers, they left, read Old on the internet and went back to the store, I wanted u 600, my husband u 500 ... in the end, my husband persuaded me to do this, and, accordingly, we bought it.
1) Her tidy is not sensory, unlike her sister, although in the descriptions I read many places that the sensor, she has buttons.
2) The menu is interesting, but you cannot go back, only forward clicking through all the modes
3) There is autovacuum
4) White body
and they also gave me a thick book with recipes, in addition to a small, thin one) I don't know, maybe everyone is given such
And the rest, as I understand it, is the same as in u 600

While during my experiment, I am very pleased, I do not come to the stove at all
I have already tested the baking mode, baked charlotte, made according to the recipe from the book, firstly, the dough did not rise, I sin on the book, and in the oven it was softer, more tender, but here the elastic dough is so straight .. delicious, but you need to try more and with another recipe
I tried the multi-cook and frying mode, making a recipe for "lazy" peppers from this site, it turned out just great
porridge mode, cooked oatmeal in the morning, well, that's it, now you don't need to stand at the stove and endlessly mix this unfortunate porridge (I eat oatmeal, which is cooked for a long time)
Again, on the multi-cook mode, I cooked a turkey with a vegetable stew on the very first day, everything was baked well, I liked it)

in general, I am very happy with the MB, an interesting model, again I am a beginner, I don’t know about other companies, but I don’t get enough of it !!!

Natalia, congratulations on the new slow cooker! Let it serve for a long time, feed deliciously and only please!
I just wanted to ask, it says "Functions: Steamer, oven, slow cooker, pressure cooker".
Does it have regimes under pressure? And there is no oven either.
And also tell Natal, on which programs can you change the temperature, or only on a multi-cooker?
Was the porridge cooked in milk or water? Milk does not run away on the porridge program?
Natalia2309
vernisag, Thank you! about the pressure, I will not tell you, I will ask my husband in the evening))) there is no oven mode. You can change the temperature in the frying mode, on the rest it is automatic, of course, except for the multi-cook))) I cooked porridge in water, tomorrow I will try it in milk, I will unsubscribe how it happened.

I also rummaged in the internet and found information about her:
Main characteristics: Power 1250 W., 4-liter bowl with non-stick coating, Multi-cook manual mode, 11 automatic programs, pressureless heat treatment, removable inner lid, clock, start delay up to 24 hours, auto-heating with the possibility of preliminary shutdown, monochrome LCD display, cooking time adjustment in all programs (excluding "Rice").

Features: Induction heating element, dynamic cooking progress indicator

Pros:
Manual mode Multi-cook
Induction heating element
Clock
Delay start timer up to 24 hours
Keep warm function up to 12 hours
Removable inner cover design
Self-cleaning program
Ability to turn off auto-heating
2 year warranty
Dynamic progress bar indicator
Carrying handle

Minuses:
Overcharge
No container for collecting condensate
Time and temperature ranges of adjustment in Multipovar are too small
The instruction is far from ideal
A spare bowl for the price of a good multicooker
There is no recipe book in the kit (as I wrote above, I was given a huge recipe book, but still the Internet is our everything)))

Multi-cook mode:

The default cooking time is 30 minutes. The time can range from 5 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes in 1 minute increments. Cooking temperature - from 40 to 150 ° С. The default cooking temperature is 100 ° C. Press the Menu button to set / disable the automatic heating mode. Delayed start mode is provided. When you select a cooking temperature between 40-65 ° C, the heating function will not be available.

Also yesterday I made a cottage cheese casserole from the same site, it is divine, so tender, tasty and melting in my mouth, I have never cooked
I found information from the Internet:
The multicooker Bork U500 implements various cooking modes, such as a pressure cooker - pressure cooking, a slow cooker, a double boiler - steaming, a yoghurt maker, as well as 11 automatic programs and a multi-cook program.
and she also has a steam release valve or a pressure relief valve, which means there are some modes with pressure .... if I'm wrong, correct it.
Natalia2309
vernisag, I found in the instructions that there are 4 modes under pressure: rice, pilaf, baking and a double boiler.
vernisag
Maybe not baking? Baking under pressure doesn't seem to exist
How long does it take to cook rice and pilaf?
Natalia2309
vernisag, I can't tell you exactly about the pressure and modes, unfortunately
The pilaf mode is prepared for 55 minutes, but the time can be changed, the time range is from 50 minutes to 2 hours, the rice mode is an automatic program, in the evening I will look at home, if I am not mistaken, then 40 minutes.

pilaf is cooked for 55 minutes to 2 hours, rice mode is 40 minutes.
That means without pressure, as in a conventional multicooker.

Hello everyone! My wife and I want to buy this model, but there are two very important questions:
1. Has anyone cooked yogurt with it? Does it work? What are the ingredients? Did you cook in cups or right in the most often?
2. How about washing? Especially interested in the insides.
Thank you
Manna
Wash in the same way as any other multicooker - the bowl and the removable lid plate. Yoghurt can be cooked both in a bowl and in glasses on a napkin with water in a bowl on the "shoulders" of the glasses. The temperature (like any induction multicooker) keeps perfectly. By the way, the U500 was discontinued. You can still find leftovers in stores.
vo4ik13
Manna, what was taken out of production - heard.
One of the goals why we take MV is to prepare yogurt (large volumes). The jars will naturally have less volume. The operating temperature range for this MV is from 40 degrees, and yoghurts are cooked at 36-38 degrees. We often see that they write that everything cooks well in jars - apparently, when they cook in jars, the temperature is less than 40 degrees. So the question is: does someone cook yogurt in a bowl, does it work? Even at 40 degrees?
vernisag
vo4ik13, so can you just buy a yogurt maker for 12 jars and cheaper and there are less risks with bacteria.
Manna
I ferment yoghurt only in a yogurt maker (although they often overheat, so they get thermostats for them). In multicooker, I make sauerkraut just for the sake of testing. I support Irisha-Vernissage, if a multicooker is needed more for the sake of yogurt, then it is better to have a separate device for this, so that the bowl and plate are not regularly sterilized (although you still have to sterilize jars with lids and a spoon), and time is required for sourdough time you will not use a slow cooker. I ferment in a yogurt maker in 0.5 cans - 4 pcs of 0.5 liters for a total of 2 liters, plus I do over-fermentation every two days. Well, you get a lot of yoghurt.

By temperatures. It depends on the leaven. I use Evitalia most often. She is 40 ° C.
vo4ik13
Thanks for the answers.
However, the question is different: Still, someone ferments yoghurts in a bowl or not? If so, how does it work?

Mannaand how is testing?
Manna, As for Evitalia, by the way, you said, we only ferment her)))

I didn't ferment in bork. Fermented in other multicooker. But I don't really understand what exactly you want to hear
vo4ik13
Manna, are yoghurts made in a slow cooker in a bowl at 40? That is, with all these three conditions? Here)
Manna
Of course they do. Why shouldn't they work?
vo4ik13
Manna, well, maloli)) Specially asked for this those who already have this unit.

Hello. I bought a multicooker almost a year ago. I am almost happy with everything, but I still can't bake: the top and bottom are fried, but the inside is not baked. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Manna
TatyanaYou tell us in more detail what exactly you are baking, what kind of dough, what consistency it is, then maybe we can tell you.
ket66
similar to MV VITEK VT-4215BW with a bowl volume of 4 liters.
