But I really want to try the bread with cherries. On the Internet, I found a recipe for dried cherries in Nina's magazine 🔗... I decided to do it. The cherry season has come. I made one serving to try. I was pleased with the result. Cherry is fragrant, not tough, sweet and beautiful. Let's get started.
  • Dried cherries Wash the cherries, dry them, remove the seeds. I take out the bones with such a device. But there are nuances, you need to make sure that the bone is still removed. The pros are that everything is clean and the juice does not flow.
  • Dried cherries Mix sugar with water and bring to a boil.
  • Dried cherries Fill the cherries with hot syrup and leave for a day. After a day, bring to a boil.
  • Dried cherries We discard the cherries in a colander and let the syrup drain. Pour the cherries onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper, sprinkle with sugar and place in the oven. I wrote about the temperature and time in the notes. Then I diluted the syrup with water, added sugar and boiled it. It turned out to be a wonderful compote.
  • That's all. Now I'll try the cherry bread. Hope it is useful to someone. Many have fruit dryers. Probably the process will accelerate in this unit.

Source here 🔗... It took me much longer to dry the cherries than the author did. Nina dries for 10-12 hours at a temperature of 40-45 degrees. I dried cherries for a whole day at a temperature of 50 degrees in the oven. When I got tired of it, I increased the temperature to seventy degrees and turned on the convection. The cherries have dried up in 1.5 hours. Either my cherry is wet, or the ovens are different. Therefore, times may vary.

By the way, I have the same device for removing bones, and we became very good friends! I even peeled felt cherries on it for jam and dumplings, but it is much smaller and juicier. Of course, you have to check almost every berry, but this is much better than with your hands, the juice does not flow so much and your hands are dry ...
