Pastila strawberry-cherry

Pastila strawberry-cherry

Ingredients

Strawberry 3kg
Pitted sweet cherries 700gr
Ripe bananas 3 pcs
Vegetable oil for greasing pallets

Cooking method

  • Pastila strawberry-cherry
  • Required:
  • electric dryer Ezidri Ultra 1000
  • mode 55 ° C.
  • or electric dryer Snackmaker FD500,
  • Medium mode (medium) 50-55 ° С.
  • All components are purely "by eye".
  • Wash the strawberries, cherries, drain off the water, peel the bananas. Remove seeds from cherries. Grind everything with a blender or meat grinder (I used a meat grinder with a fine strainer). Mix.
  • Grease the trays for marshmallow with vegetable oil, pour the prepared mixture onto them and leave to dry for 10-12 hours. The drying time depends on the poured layer of the fruit mixture. The pastila is ready when it stops sticking in the middle.
  • At the exit, sweet and sour dessert, which will hardly live will not live to see winter)))
  • Experiment, do not be afraid to mix and as a reward there will be wonderful goodies for tea!

Note

The last time my mother rolled two sheets of marshmallow at once. We liked it so much. It is softer and at the same time denser on the inside.
For comparison, a marshmallow, twisted upside down.

nila
milka80, thank you very much ! I was waiting for this recipe and in the end I did everything wrong! First, I passed all this mixture through a juicer lightly))) got juice and doused the fruit with steam, and dried the rest.
Irina, how do you store this marshmallow?
And another question. I cut a piece of marshmallow for tea ... delicious, but oily stains floated. Not very nice ... how do you deal with it?
milka80
Nelya, I don't store it yet)) This is my first year in using the dryer. All winter dried and immediately ate. Always stood on the table in a glass vase with a lid.
According to the experience of members of the forum, marshmallows are either rolled into cans, or into the same cans but under the Wax lids. I also want to buy these.
I don't add marshmallow to tea, I just eat a bite))) Children chew like that, only I have time to dive in the leftovers
nila
Irina, for a detailed answer! I also caught fire with vacuum caps, you need to look in the internet, we don't sell them like that
I have leftover cherries and strawberries now, add cherries and try raw marshmallow!
Altusya
Oh, girls, how I envy you with white envy, as they say.
If we had so many berries here, and even cheap ones. We are deprived
And I suppose you have everything of your own
Ay, ay, yay, is milka80 from Moscow? Do you have your own strawberry? And the cherries otkel?
I didn't look where the people came from. I thought as usual Ukraine, where so much delicious grows
milka80
Altusya Ukraine, Ukraine))) This is where we are with the children in the summer at my mother's fill with vitamins

There is a dacha in Moscow, but with very modest volumes
Altusya
Iraaaa ... all the same, Ukraine Ieehh.
And I also have this dryer, there will be nothing to dry this year. With money so strained right now.
And last year I dried some strawberries and added them to the porridge. Well, different vegetables to put or stew in the soup, in general, turned around a little. Dryer is a noble thing

Ir, what about the boy? Oh, eats like mmm ... young boy
milka80
Olya, when I bought the dryer, it was almost winter) All winter I dried it with small ones and not only them: kiwi, bananas, apples. I made a little marshmallow. Sun-dried and simply dried tomatoes. Let it be purchased, but it was enough to add a little to the salad.
At the dacha we have a lot of red currants, a little black and grape gooseberries. Here on arrival I will make marshmallow.
There are also strawberries, but they were usually frozen. This time they will freeze without me too))
I'm not overjoyed at the dryer myself.I bought it for my mom, so dad already said that today is the first day when the dryer does not work - nonsense! )))

In the photo - yes, sonulya senior)
And here is small
Pastila strawberry-cherry
But, unfortunately, we will not wait for the tomatoes, in a week they will be back to Moscow, my mother will dry them without us.

Olya, do not worry, summer and autumn are ahead, you can pour pears / dry apples and apples, they are no less tasty than strawberries and cherries

Sisteraaaa !!! With such prices, only bananas remain for berries.

milka80, delicious marshmallow !!!

milka80Beautiful marshmallow!
I kept a marshmallow rolled into a roll in a regular jar. The truth from sour plum, especially for Georgian dishes, lay for a couple of years and did not deteriorate, nothing started in it.

Tanya, I just liked the dried one. Do you remember how I bombarded you last year with questions like, why should you dry it, otherwise, and then and this

Virgin, we have a hundred berries on the market now, dear mom! And prices do not go down. What is this?

No, well, that's how I'll look at the marshmallow and last year there were hostesses here, so straight
No, banana marshmallow, give us berries

Ksyunya, Omela, And nothing grows in your country house? Well, are the bushes there all different? Can we have a club? Why won't you plant? Right now I would sit and show us a marshmallow here

Ol, the strawberries were just planted this year. With this dacha, I will soon not crawl out of the garden.

Oh, I suppose the drain has planted everything
Let's wait for the marshmallow

I store pastille (made also in Isidri) between layers of cling film, rolled into rolls. I lay for a year in an ordinary plastic microwave container in the refrigerator. It still remains.

I made strawberry separately, raspberry separately, cherry separately. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to correctly insert a photo on the forum.

It's very easy to insert a photo!
When you write a recipe message, click the button in the window SHOW which is under the line Gallery for inserting photos into a message (OWN PRODUCTION ONLY!) and then you work with the table, take a photo from your computer. Take the link to the photo under the full photo or a preview, and insert it into the message in the right place - you don't need to click on any buttons or icons anymore!

And do not sculpt links in one pile - be sure to make a space between them !!!

this is regular parchment paper. I fasten it with a stapler.

Take me to the ranks of marshmallow lovers, pliz! Drying is a year, but only this year is it ripe for this yummy! Srazbegu began to make apple cider, just did not cook it first, but immediately grind and dry it in a blender with sugar, but only on paper for now !!! It turned out superb, I lie there and eat and eat and eat .... Now the apples won't spoil, they just won't have time!
Now I put strawberries, my husband bought it out of spiritual generosity! That's just in vain I put it on paper, the juice ran, although I did not grind it completely into porridge, but with pieces! How long does it take to dry? And if the juice got into the dryer itself, then I hope there will be nothing fatal ?!
natushka
Girls, I'm drying strawberry marshmallows now, can you please tell me how you distribute it in an even layer? I tried evenly and thicker to the edges. I make a layer about 0.5-1 cm by the eye, but by the end of drying it seems to "crack". Even when I tried to remove it (the middle does not stick from above, the edges are dry), in some places closer to the center it sticks a little to the sheet and peels off (holes are obtained), the sheet is well missed.

Natasha, I moved the post to this topic, here the pictures are how to "smudge" and can be clearly seen.
