Straw Biscuits Dairy Bars

Ingredients

butter 50g
powdered sugar 80g
salt 1/4 tsp
milk 60g
self-ascending flour 250g
powdered milk 20g

Cooking method

  • 1. Mix flour with milk powder and sift.
  • 2. In a saucepan, melt the butter, icing sugar, salt, for a few seconds, stir the mass all the time.
  • 3. Remove from heat, add half of the milk immediately. Mix well.
  • 4. Add 1/3 flour mixture. Stir until completely distributed.
  • 5. Add the rest of the milk and a third of the remaining flour. Mix thoroughly again.
  • 6. Add the remaining flour and knead by hand.
  • 7. Then distribute the dough between two sheets of foil and roll out into a rectangle with a thickness of 1 to 1.5 cm.
  • 8. Chill in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
  • 9. Then transfer the dough to the table and cut out the cookies (I have a width of 1 cm.)

  • 10. Transfer to a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • 11. Bake in an oven preheated to 160C for 25 minutes. Then turn off the oven and dry it for another 10-15 minutes.
  • Decorate as desired.
