And now, when cooking porridge, try adding (at the stage of food laying) 1/2 cup raisins, or 1 cup dried apricots, or both together (amount to taste). And for healthiness, add other flakes, buckwheat, barley, etc., 1/2 cup is enough.
In general, you can cook porridge entirely from 4-5-6 cereal flakes, they boil so much that their coarse parts are not felt. And you can also add raisins and dried apricots to them for taste and healthiness.

I think you will like it very much

thanks for the advice, we will definitely try. Today I cooked rice, it turned out thickly, next time I need to swell more milk

Apparently it depends on rice, I put 1 cup of Krasnodar, it boils well in porridge, and milk is a matter of taste.
Check out my recipe for RICE porridge.

I put different porridges every evening in the morning. The lid has never been stained. Maybe a lot of cereals, milk? How many servings do you cook? Maybe you don't wash the cereals too thoroughly? Foam forms, and it stains the lid.
Boo Boo
I also often put porridge in the morning, I never rinse the cereal. The lid is clean.
Maybe it's milk, I only use the long-acting one.

I take baby Agusha in half with water. I wash the groats. So the multi valve even outside is covered in milk in the morning ...
Boo Boo
and you exactly set the regimen of milk porridge?
Andreevna

I put porridge on the timer. In the morning, the entire valve and lid are in porridge. You have to carry the entire pan to the sink to wash the lid. Has anyone encountered this? What could be wrong?
Try to add rolled oats, which is cooked for 15-20 minutes, add flakes of 4-8 cereals there, I take 1: 1 rolled oats and flakes, milk (I dilute 3/4 with water if milk is 3, 2% or more) and no surprises in the morning you will not see, all the porridge will be in place, and the multi lid will be clean. I came to this after I constantly had results similar to yours. For some reason, cereal flakes quench herculean foam

I wanted to thank you for the recipe. the first time I cooked rice porridge, I took the recipe from the multi-burned from me. and today I tried to make hercules according to your recipe - very tasty, thanks.my daughter and I liked Pts. the only thing I wanted to ask. during cooking 2 times interfered, it seemed to me that it could burn or it just seemed to be ...

Thanks for the kind words

If the first cooking of porridge shows an insufficient amount of milk (water), then the next. just add 1/2 more cups of liquid.
It all depends on the cereals that can absorb more or less liquid and on your preference for a thin or steep porridge.

You do not need to open the lid during the porridge cooking mode !!!
Perhaps in this way you upset the balance of the microclimate inside the pan set in the program.
Milk porridge and even on water cooks perfectly with the lid closed and it turns out very tasty

Success

otherwise I was worried that I bought the cartoon in vain

Thanks for the recipe for porridge, it turned out sooooo tasty, even my children, who do not really like porridge, eat with pleasure, in a cartoon it tastes better.

So I have the same problem, but somehow it doesn’t have to happen, then everything is normal with the porridge, then it "runs away" through the valve, but only oatmeal. buckwheat, rice and millet cook well.
besides the option of adding other cereals is there a way out? the whole family really loves oatmeal in its pure form

Ratio of groats: liquid shocked, it can only be used for weight ratio. For reference, a 250 ml glass contains about 90 g of rolled oats. Today I cooked milk porridge from 1 glass of cereal (I have 200 ml of milk from the MV Brand) and 1 glass of milk and water for a full cycle in Panas10 without heating. Thoroughly mixed with a silicone spatula, involving a loose film at the bottom. It turned out to be a porridge with a pleasant consistency. I will cook this way !!!!

Vadim, what exactly?

My recipe says:
long boiled oatmeal 1 cup
fresh milk 4.5-5 cups, depends on the desired thickness of the porridge

And you choose this thickness of porridge yourself - all honestly and without deception
And there is no need to convert into any weight units - we like it at home!

And you choose your path
Antonovka
I also cook in Romin's proportions, sometimes for the same 4.5-5 tbsp. I take not a whole liquid, but 3/4 mst. cereals, but I still like not for a long time and leave on heating. True, I always cook milk porridge, loading everything from evening to morning

When boiling oat milk porridge in a ratio of 1: 3, 20 minutes after the start of cooking, a brew had to be brewed, where grain after grain was chasing with a club, I had to thicken it with 2 dessert spoons of semolina, the porridge turned out to be thin. Today I have experience in cooking porridge in a 1: 2 ratio without heating. Porridge is what you need. For those who do not like liquid, I recommend it. If the recipe contains 2-5 cups of milk, then it would be possible to write about different thicknesses of porridge. And so definitely super-LIQUID.

And experience ... the son of difficult mistakes ...

And there is one more thing: porridge is obtained in consistency and taste if you cook it from flakes of quick or long boiling.

I cook only from long-boiled flakes.

Help me figure out why the lid of the MB is dirty and the milk runs away when I cook this porridge. : cray: There are no problems with other cereals. But this one was very fond of. : rose: I use Hercules for a long time. Proportions as per recipe. Milk porridge mode. What means
[add 4-8 cereal flakes there, / quote] what cereal flakes?
Admin

I always use long-boiled oat flakes, or flakes of 5-7-8 cereals. I checked the original recipe - I do everything, in particular, I cooked it yesterday.
Check the milk, if powdered milk (reconstituted) or other poor quality, then there are such cases, the milk runs away. I cook only with natural milk.
dandelion
I'll try it with another milk. But for some reason the oatmeal is running away, the rest are not. What are the names of 5-7-8 cereal flakes? Can't we sell them?
Admin

We sell

Look in the store where the cereals are. There are groats and grains of Belovodye, different. There are cereals from different companies (unfortunately, today I threw away the last box), on the boxes it is written Flakes 5 cereals (or 3, 7, 8 cereals)
There are packages Buckwheat flakes (rice)

I fell asleep an incomplete glass of rolled oats + 4 tbsp. milk. Nothing escaped!

I cook herculean porridge only from Yasno Solnyshko number 1. Even with the slightest overflow of liquid, the porridge no longer likes. Sorry to disturb you.

Tatyana, thank you very much for the recipe !!! A wonderful porridge turns out!
I tried it in different versions: on one milk (I use UHT) 1: 5 or 1: 4 mult. Art.
Second option: for 1 glass of rolled oats long cooking took 2 cartoon glasses of water and 3 m. Art. milk. + light and dark raisins and dried apricots (about 100 grams of the mixture). I liked this option more. I also put on the timer for the night, but without fruit.
The third test on water: ¾ m. Art. hercules + 1/4 m. st. flakes 6 cereals + 4 m. st. WATER + dried apricots about 100 grams. Also very tasty porridge!

Girls, health!

Porridge is an individual matter, who likes and what density of porridge, there are many ways

Admin, hello) I read about porridge, I am looking for a porridge option for children that is not thick, so that in the morning I pour everything and continue to sleep, make Hercules flakes +5 Cereals, everything runs away through the valve (do not wash it later
today I have already put 20 minutes on Baking, I run after 10 minutes, hisses and climbs everything out ... what should I do, MV little Panasonic
Admin
Here I already have the third multicooker, including the second pressure cooker - and in none of them milk ran away

Don't buy powdered, reconstituted milk.
If you put milk on the timer, put frozen milk in the multicooker, for which you put a carton of milk in the freezer the day before.

I have the following proportions: 1 multi glass long-boiled oatmeal, and 4-5 multi glasses of milk.
I use only natural milk. If there is not enough milk, or the milk is very fatty, dense (as it is now), then I dilute the milk with water in any proportion.
I also add (besides salt and sugar) a piece of butter, 15-20 grams is enough - the porridge becomes softer, tastier.
Tanyusya b
I take milk not reconstituted .. shelf life is 5 days, our plant is in the region, Oatmeal 15 minutes of cooking. I can put a lot - 1 m.st. of cereal + 3 liquids (water and milk in half)

Yes! The package should say, quick boil for 3-5 minutes, or long boil for 20 minutes

According to the recipe:
long boiled oatmeal 1 cup
fresh milk 4.5-5 cups, depends on the desired thickness of the porridge

That is, the density of the porridge is regulated by the amount of cereal and milk. It is optimal to take 3-3.5 cups of milk for 1 cup of rolled oats, you get a normal density.
And the cooking time depends on the number of servings of porridge. The "porridge" mode in Panasonic allows cooking 1-1.5 cups of cereal.
If the portion is larger, then it is better to cook on the Stew mode, set more time, and then track manually after the fact.

In any case, you need to adapt to your device, to understand its capabilities.

It is better to take natural milk, oatmeal only "long boiled", simple (not three-minute boiling)

Thanks, everything turned out great, I took 2 milk and three water - one and a half cartoon cereals porridge - hit

good day! cooked porridge 1: 5 (2 water, 3 milk) with a piece of plums. oils. It turned out just super, it stood on heating for 10 minutes, turned it off, mixed it. On the stove, a completely different porridge compared to this one. And why did I refuse myself for so long in buying a multicooker, I just didn’t understand my happiness!

Natasha, to your health!
It's good that my porridge recipe helped me have a good and tasty breakfast.

Admin, thanks for the recipe!
The porridge turned out to be very tasty!

I had this problem.
I put the porridge with a timer. In the morning I open my "miracle pot", and porridge with some lumps, soup with floating lumps. I stirred it with a whisk, poured it into a saucepan and cooked for about 10 minutes. The porridge became normal.

I washed the bowl, wiped it, re-poured the rolled oats, poured milk and water, salt, sugar and pressed the start button. The porridge turned out to be awesome !!!

Question: why didn't it work with the timer? Maybe someone came across?
