Ingredients

small eggplants 2 pcs
small squash 2 pcs
tomatoes (by the diameter of zucchini and eggplant) 4-6 pcs
bulb onions 1 PC
medium carrots 1 PC
olive oil 1-2 tbsp. l.
provencal herbs, salt taste
garlic 2 cloves
water half a glass

Cooking method

  • Chop eggplants, zucchini and tomatoes into circles (on a Berner grater).
  • Make "turrets" zucchini-eggplant-tomato 5-7 cm high, put in a circle in a bowl, then in the middle. Sprinkle with Provencal herbs and salt.
  • Ratatouille (multicooker-pressure cooker Steba DD1)
  • Grate the carrots, finely chop the onion. If there are any vegetables left (I have a little zucchini) that do not fit in the bowl, then finely chop and sauté in butter with onions and carrots (either in a multi bowl before laying out the vegetables, or separately in a frying pan). Place on top of vegetables in a bowl. Finely chop the garlic and spread on a sautéer.
  • Ratatouille (multicooker-pressure cooker Steba DD1)
  • Splash some water into vegetables (for initial steam formation, then the vegetables themselves will give juice). Close the bowl with a lid, close the valve. Vegetables program 0.7 10 min.
  • At the end of the program, drain off the remaining steam and serve. Serve warm.
  • Bon Appetit!

Note

Pepper is traditionally added to ratatouille, and tomato sauce is made. But since the tomatoes are still not so sweet now, I decided not to make the sauce, there are still tomatoes, and our ratatouille is not baked ... Bulgarian pepper can be added to the sautéing, who likes it.
It turned out to be a very tasty vegetable dish, especially since now is the season for used vegetables!

Thanks for the idea with carrots and onions - I'll try it this way too. I also put onions in circles in turrets, alternating with other vegetables.
