Katrine
Good day.
A question for lucky Marihuna and other owners of Kenwood KM070. I read the forum and cannot wait for opinions and discussion of this model. Yes, they don't sell it in Russia, and brotherly Ukraine is also silent or sparingly gives information (((
I would love to know how it turns out:
1) custard;
2) fondant (whipped sugar syrup);
3) someone tried to make "almost chocolate" in it "from scratch" from cocoa, sugar, cocoa butter and vanilla, and not to temper the finished one;
4) whether it is possible to cook porridge in it (stirring) and how much it is advisable to cook;
5) is it possible to put the dough for proofing at 35 degrees right in the bowl;
6) how much it really weighs, can it be put on a Miele washing machine and turned on, or it vibrates strongly;
7) what volumes of cooked dishes (max. And min.) Are better to cook in it;
8) Yogurt can be fermented in it at night for 40 grams;
9) is it really possible to exploit induction heating or is it rather self-indulgence;
10), etc., etc., etc.
Question to Marihuna where in Kiev my husband bought a harvester, he did not share the info with you, otherwise mine also goes there in November I want to ask) And to those who ordered from Germany, there was a marriage sometime, what then to do?
I really want this unit, according to the descriptions and videos on youtube, it's a dream machine, but it's somehow scary considering the size (of the attachments itself) and the price, oh, it's a pity they don’t give rent, or they don’t like master classes for any Thermomix, and indeed they don't officially come to us. Please advise experts what to do. Thanks to everyone who responded in advance.

Have a look at this thread, especially my last advice:

In this thread, just like me, many others have left a sufficient number of messages about Kesha Km070
Katrine
Thank you. And what is the name of the topic and what is the number of the page, since the link did not open for me. Like the two topics "Kenwood kitchen machine" and "Kenwood kitchen machine - working with attachments" I have read in full. How KM020 works, etc. In principle, I would stop at one of them, because I want a good kneader, egg beater and a device for pureing, but 070 appeared and it seemed to me that it would make it easier for me with its heating function life, I watched videos on youtube there, in principle, everything is clear, but I would like to hear the opinions of real users about the operations for which I want to use it. And about the purchase, since it is not for sale in Russia.

I bought it in Germany with home delivery, everything turned out on time as expected (quick dispatch came in 2 weeks) slow in a month, if interested, I will help with the purchase (write in a personal)
As for the functions of those that the model km070 allows, we never reached it, namely about heating and even mixing !!!!! All Che is somehow once, we use a meat grinder and juicers, a blender.
Rina
Since Kenwood has several models of kitchen machines that differ only in the volume of the bowl (and because of this, the attachments may differ), we combined them into one theme.

The 070 model has induction heating. Therefore, I propose a discussion of his unique opportunities to lead in this topic.
Kolich
there is a nuuuuu ooooooooooo very unique ability of the KM070 model to unscrew the citrus press attachment while working, how do you like it? in the memorial is assigned !!!!!!
I tried to change new nozzles - it did not help and did not console me (((((
Katrine
Yes, it is this combination of heating and stirring (whipping) that makes it unique. So you want the combine to grind fudge, custards and chocolate, cook porridge and sauces for you.
And Koliсh can answer about the weight, vibration during work and the ability to put on the washer, miele, it seems to be metal itself, how do you think it will stand? Thank you
Kolich
there is no vibration, the machine is heavy, 10-15kg somewhere like that ... why put on the washer? I do not know the model of the washing machine and therefore would not risk it, especially Mile right now of a very poor quality machine. not what it was before.
Katrine
It's just that the surfaces are free, there is only a dishwasher and a washing machine, there are no countertops over them yet, and if there is one, then hold on to them and on the column. I don't want to put it on the table.

hmmm everything is very strange ...... you need a table-top !!!! it is exactly what we have!
Katrine
Why is it strange) non-built-in appliances can stand by themselves, or you can remove the lid from it and put it under the countertop. But I understood your idea of 15-18 kg (including the product) and does not vibrate. Thank you
Kolich
no, I think the product weighs 10-15kg like this, it stands on the table top, no vibrations were noticed at all.
Katrine
Thank you. How will you get to cooking any of the dishes listed at the beginning or similar, please share with the people)
Marihuna
Only today I saw the topic and therefore I will try to answer the questions in order.
The car was bought in Kiev. On the Internet, we found several online stores that have a self-pickup point and, having chosen the cheapest at that time for the price (it turned out about something about 37 thousand rubles with kopecks) in advance (they ordered 2 weeks in advance, and confirmed their order in 5 days and phoned at the time of entry into the territory of Ukraine). I wanted this machine so much that I monitored the status of the order every day from Moscow by e-mail :))) We bought it at Tekhnokhat, but at the same time I insured myself and ordered it at the Meat Grinder (by the way, it was cheaper now, the price increased by almost $ 100: (but the car did not manage to arrive from Poland at that moment, so the first option remained.) If you order in this way, fix the price, if possible, it jumps from them. Now more than 10 thousand hryvnia, and I bought for 9 with something.

I really liked the attitude in Technohat - the manager, despite my meticulousness, "led" me to the end, even measured the dimensions of the box and sent me a photo :)). In general, the harvester was waiting for us for 2 weeks in reserve. Plus, the combine was completely checked on the spot before buying (this is a plus, by the way, compared to delivery from Germany).

The box is oversized, but not critical - the dimensions allow you to safely place the car in the trunk of the crossover without folding the seats. Box weight 30 kg. The weight of the device itself is 13.6 kg.

I do not recommend putting it on a washing machine or dishwasher. After all, this is a machine stuffed with electronics and when the "stands" work from vibration, it is them, and not the combine, in the device, God forbid, something will shift, and there is no warranty repair in Russia alas.
And to carry around the kitchen almost 14 kg ... It’s also not ice.

It's better to come up with something like a countertop after all. Well, the surface of the washer is smooth sliding - the device can move during operation (when kneading a hard dough, for example). It didn't stand up very well for me either - the cabinets are hanging low, they even wanted to lower the tabletop by a few centimeters, but since to work with the attachments, you still have to move the machine a little (so that the cabinets do not interfere), we decided to simply increase the depth of the tabletop by 6-7 cm. Then everything will be fine.
Note also that there should be a place to the left and right of the machine where you could put containers for receiving processed products. In general, it would be nice to have a "place" with a width of 80 cm at least.
We didn't have this place either, but after 2 weeks of waiting, I went through everything in my small kitchen so much that now the car is standing in splendid isolation on an 80cm tabletop. If you could see what was there before :))) And a double boiler and a decanter and a blender. And now everything is located in other places even better than before.
Also keep in mind that a lot of space is taken up not by the machine itself (it needs only a 40 by 30 cm section), but the attachments to it. I have not yet begun to pull the attachments out of my boxes - so it is more clear which part of what belongs to what. Of course, some of the packaging had to be eliminated and the contents combined.

By the way, I read a very valuable advice on the KM020 forum - in order for the rubber pads on the legs to last longer - I put the car on a thin plastic board (2mm) and move not the car, but this board. Very comfortably.

As for cooking on induction, I have not yet used the device to its fullest. I all dream of making custard, but so far my hands have not reached it. Maybe this weekend they will come ... Although there are a lot of apples - I will probably bake charlottes again.

I made eggplant caviar at induction. In the Kenwood topic (2), I described some of the nuances. If you try to make a larger portion at once (4 eggplants, 3 peppers, 4 onions), then until the vegetables are boiled down, you had to hold the bowl and help with the spatula in full - otherwise the nozzle wedged from a large amount of food, the bowl came out of the grooves and, accordingly, an error signal was heard.
Previously, I made a little more than half of the portion (for a sample) - everything was great. The machine interferes, hands free - beauty. The temperature is regulated ... Onions, however, are not fried, but rather stewed in their own juice.

Tempering chocolate is an interesting idea, of course, but in the near future I will probably not do it, so there is nothing to advise here ... Although .... Damn getting fat so fat :)) Next week I'll probably make "Prague" , and there just the chocolate icing is needed. When you do it on the stove, of course you don't really like to constantly interfere.

As for the sauces, it seems to me that there should be no problems. The machine (or rather induction), it seems to me, is precisely "sharpened" for this process. The maximum volume indicated on the bowl is 3 liters. This is about half.

Today I made pasta with seafood :))) Mmmmm ... It's delicious. True, I took pasta from the store and boiled it on the stove ... But the rest of the sauce with sea creatures was made in Kenwood. Not bad, you know ... not bad ... The only thing is that the mixing speed is a bit high (at the minimum), it seemed to me. I already wrote about this earlier. There is a very convenient function (button) for mixing one and a half turn of the nozzle. BUT!!! The whole point is that heating, as far as I understand, only works when there is constant stirring, that is, it will not work to stop the mixer and heat it up, stirring occasionally.
The timer can be started both in the direction of increasing the time, and in the direction of decreasing (in this case, the machine turns off after the time expires. It is also convenient).

What else was there? Yogurt? Chesslovo did not ask such a question. No answer.

I haven't made the dough for proofing yet, but judging by the heating process, the proofing described above will not work - so that there is heating, the mixer must constantly work, and therefore crush the dough, which is not suitable in this situation.
The only thing you can try is to remove the attachment .... But you need to experiment with this already on the device itself. I will specifically go check and unsubscribe whether the heating is on.
Marihuna
In short I am reporting :))) Everything is super !!! The presence or absence of a stirrer does NOT affect heating. Therefore, proofing of the dough is possible. The only thing is that a bowl of even 6.7 liters will probably be too small for my requests :))) And for a small amount of dough it is very normal.

There is still a question with porridge, but I think if there are already several videos of cooking Risotto in this device, there should be no problems with porridge.
So far, it turns out that way.
If we investigate the issue of cooking using induction in principle, then for me it is 60-70 percent, it is more likely all the same for the time being self-indulgence, and for the time being 30-40 a necessity. Perhaps because I have not yet got used to this "advantage", well, constantly cooking something in the car - it seems to me that it will not be profitable in terms of the amount of winding electricity on the meter (and I have a house with a gas stove). In the same place, when heating, the heating power (1100 W) + the power for the operation of the nozzles (stirring) (1500 W) works.

And the last - the device is very stable and does not vibrate. Although you need to check it on kneading hard dough. There should be no vibration, but a shift from the "effort" is possible (judging by the reviews on KM 020), although the weight is 4 kg more ...
Katrine
Thank you very much, very much. The question on the consumption of e-va is interesting, probably the power still depends on the heating temperature and the speed of the stirring (whipping) nozzle, are there electricians on the forum? Still, chocolate does not give me rest))) It needs to be heated at 60-80 degrees and the speed is small, but long. The same thing with yogurt for 8 hours at 35-40 degrees, the consumption of e-va will be thousands of watts or is still proportional to the temperature. And what do you think, if you whip sugar syrup into a fondant when heated, it will cope?
Marihuna
It depends on what consistency the fondant will be needed. If not very cool, then she can do it. I'm sure. In general, you probably need to try everything. By the way, I read somewhere a comparison of this machine with a thermomix. Not in favor of the latter. In general, there are very few reviews on KM070. I read everything :))) Even in foreign languages (google translator was helpful).

So buying this device is still buying a "pig in a poke". Not in terms of reliability (although this is also), but in terms of a small number of reviews from specific users. Advertising is a good thing, of course, but reality, as we know, does not always correspond to advertising.
Well, if there is no warranty repair in Russia for this car: (And just repair for money can turn into a big gimorrhoid, our service workers will stupidly not have the necessary electronic components. And whether they want to contact their order and everything else is another question The only hope is that the machine is not much different from the KM 020 (except for induction and the timer), and according to KM 020, I practically, with rare exceptions, have not seen any complaints about the breakdown of the device itself.
So I bought it, I'm using it, I'm happy and hope that the machine won't let me down. Ugh, ugh, ugh ...
Katrine
It is precisely because of the "pig in a poke" that I haven't bought it yet. I even regret that it is not being sold by network marketing, at least there you can go to see, touch the presentation, although I have a strong dislike for persistent pushing) There are no friends of the owners of this miracle, so I decided to try the members of the forum) I want something to make life easier, but I don't want to buy a huge expensive piece (no guarantee), and then don't know where to attach it together with the attachments. Or buy the simplest kneader like Kenwood kMix KMX-51 and not come out with your own chocolate))) And as I understood you were driving from Ukraine by car, but you don't know by train, the customs officers won't find fault if all the documents are in order and don't share the link where did the husband buy?
Marihuna
Links where I bought see above in my very first post.
Regarding the customs, you need to have all the documents confirming the fact of the purchase of the device (check, sales receipt and in general everything that the sellers give). Then, when transporting it by train, you need to put the box somewhere. And it is quite overall: width 69,
depth 54, height 57cm. Perhaps they will force you to check in the luggage compartment. If you decide to buy also attachments (and in Ukraine they are much cheaper in some stores), then keep in mind that the maximum amount purchased upon entering Russia should not exceed 1500 Euros and the weight should not exceed 50 kg (otherwise, everything in excess will be subject to taxation, and this is when the train travels, the gimor is still the one where it is all done, then the train will not wait). And so that there is no transportation of several identical goods (so as not to be counted as a commercial batch). Now, if by plane, then the amount is up to 10,000 euros and without any problems.
Ukrainian customs officers can find fault with "the fool". The fact is that until June of this year, without declaring and, therefore, without paying duties, according to their legislation, it was possible to export goods worth no more than 200 euros. If for a large amount, then when entering the territory of Ukraine, it was necessary to declare this same amount without fail, otherwise there were precedents when the goods were simply seized upon departure, like smuggling, and something there almost reached the court.
Although usually this customs officers just earned their bread and butter, taking sickly ransoms. Now the sum of the prices of goods that can be exported without declaring from Ukraine is 10,000 euros. The main thing is that you know about it.
While my husband was getting ready and while driving, I dug through so much information about this :))) And still, even being savvy on this issue, I was very worried. She is also a customs office in Africa, especially since my husband went abroad for the first time by car. In fact, Ukraine missed it without question, but Russia (a woman, a customs officer) found fault with the fact that such expensive equipment (and there was also a bunch of attachments there) can simply be bought as a gift to his wife. As a woman, she either did not believe, or envied my "happiness")) But she missed it anyway :)))
But again, this all concerned the carriage of the device by car. I can hardly imagine transportation by train. Although for sure everything is possible.
Marihuna
And more .... Regarding the guarantee ... An amazing thing turns out. KM070 is present on the official website of Kenwood in Ukraine. But when buying, the sellers honestly said that the warranty for this car is not valid on the territory of Ukraine.
Something like that, I hardly understand it. If the product is presented on the site, it means that it is certified and that means there should be some kind of guarantee. Maybe the sellers are just not quite in the know? Although they said that they were bringing cars from Poland under some other article (perhaps to avoid any problems during customs clearance, only my assumptions about this).
In general, it's a shame and shame for our Russian office of Kenwood not to include this model in its catalog !!! Firstly, in Russia and citizens are often better off than in Ukraine they come across and there would be no problems with sales, and secondly, the instruction in the device is still in Russian !!! It means that something has not grown together apparently: (((
At first I thought that the model was just new and it wasn’t yet our turn ... And then I saw a mention of it already in 2009 ...
In Germany already KM 089 is being sold with might and main. I did not find any special differences in a cursory comparison. Well, maybe just different nozzles are included in the composition. As, for example, in KM020 and KM023.
Marihuna
As for the experience - I do not promise, but I will try. It's just that over time, my heart feels - my ardor and writing activity for this topic will cool down :) To be honest, I was already on fire with the idea of buying a bread machine :)) I have already read 3 huge forums ... Now it remains to choose a model (I used to Kenwood VM450 noted, and now there are real doubts and a couple of serious competitors - Panas 2502 and Bork 800) and the most important place (and, as I have already noted, in my tiny kitchen, in fact, there is no more) ...
Truly, those who say that by looking at this forum about one device, the user is somehow imperceptibly overgrown with other devices and becomes a desperate deviceaholic :)))
Katrine
Yes, the fact that it is not sold in Russia is a shame, apparently they did not receive an import permit. In fact, Kenwood is generally an unclear office, because if you look, then Kenwood with representations and coordinates is a manufacturer of audio equipment, which has a different logo (red triangle above W). And a manufacturer of kitchen appliances, it really is something related to DeLonghi. We don't have any large dealers with offices and service centers. Although their kitchen machines seem to be noble. And on youtube videos for many countries, in different languages.

These are two completely different companies, there is nothing muddy here.
Japanese Kenwood produces audio and video. And the English Kenwood makes mixers and kettles) And the English Kenwood, indeed, has recently been associated with DeLonghi.
Katrine
The confusing thing about them is that they have the same names and similar logos, this is misleading. Reminds of how on Chinese T-shirts brands with an error in one letter are written. And the fact that there are no normal services, no representation, no reference phones, etc. Found Vneshremtorg as authorized, and they also have the audio manufacturer's logo in the list of spare parts for Kenwood combines. It's my personal opinion.
But if I looked for Braun, for example, then all the information on them was found much faster. Although Kenwood products I like)

P.S. De'Longhi and Braun Group
On August 31, 2012, De'Longhi and Procter & Gamble approved the final version of the perpetual license agreement for the Braun-branded small appliances category.
The agreement will add another high-quality, prestigious brand to the De'Longhi Group's brand portfolio. The Braun brand is viewed around the world as synonymous with innovation and design, the hallmarks that make it fully aligned with De'Longhi's strategy and culture.

So now Brown is in formation with Kenwood.
Let's not flood anymore.
Deep
I even found a Kenwood service center in my backwoods, just in case) Go to the Russian Kenwood offsite, in the service section. They write there:
"Need to get your product repaired?
Just click here to find your nearest authorized Kenwood service center, or call the Hotline 8 800 200 52 62 (toll free within Russia). " ))

And in vain you gave such an example, about the letter) Kenwood has been producing household appliances for more than half a century and is proud of its history) And the presence of Japanese teska does not diminish its merits in the least)
Katrine
Good good. Agree. The site appeared, I also found it, but it was not there when I began to consider the topic with Kenwood, sorry. Maybe KM070 will start selling, you need to call. But similar logos are still not the case for a respected office, usually rebranding is done in this case.
Katrine
Marihuna about buying a bread machine, think well, because for example I want to get rid of it with the help of Kenwood 070. For me, a bread maker makes sense if you want to constantly bake one (or two forms) of a loaf in it and even better bake daily on a timer, then yes, this is convenience. When you fill your hand, you realize that in the oven you can make bread tastier and more varied in form and content, and more than one loaf at a time. Therefore, in the end, the stove began to work as a kneader and proofer according to the Dough program))). And the nozzle for baguettes (I have Moulinex), I never used it at all, because I myself will be eaten if I cook 4 small baguettes in it for more than three hours))) I distribute the loaves and bake in the oven, though it is (electric, and the house with gas) consumes a lot, but with steam. And also, well, I don’t like Teflon, with which the buckets of almost all bread makers are covered)))) And at Kenwood, the deja is stainless steel and you can wash it in the dishwasher, unlike the buckets and mixers of the bread machine.
Marihuna
Katrine, thanks a lot, but I need 1 loaf every 1-2 days and most likely on a timer :). And to fall asleep and forget everything. And at the signal, take out the finished bread. If I constantly bake in the oven, I will be kicked out of the house - the kitchen is small, immediately stuffy and hot + the contents stored in this very oven (pans, baking trays) need to be placed somewhere else, but there is nowhere. so for now, I'm still thinking about a bread maker. Moreover, the oven is gas and all kinds of delights such as steam, convection and other things are naturally alien to it. I've already read about baguette-shaped forms - they are not needed.

And regarding the preparation of bread for Kenwood, how much free time do you need to knead and distribute bread in it practically every day? Occasionally - yes, I agree, but so that every day ...Then there is such a nuance - whatever one may say, everything is isolated in HP and air does not come from outside. And in KM070, the bottom of the bowl will be heated, and the top will not be hermetically closed by anything. Well, if only with plastic splash protection. But it also gives condensation, which is not very appropriate in baking ... Although these are only my assumptions - the temperature is low. Maybe everything will "grow together" ...
Katrine
Over time, I agree ... But I bake bread in the oven once or twice a week, and dough in HP, if I dreamed that if I debug the kneading process in KM70, it would not be much longer, just press the on / on mixer several times and heat , and close it with a lid from splashes, as you wrote, so yes I wanted (tempera is 3-, 35 degrees C). Do not dare to try to stir up the dough there, maybe pies for the weekend, then we will discuss whether the dough turns out in Kenwood.

I want to clarify - without a stirrer and stirring is not necessary? Or is it necessary, just it will spin without a stirrer?
Marihuna
Stirring with or without a stirrer must be present, since only in this case the heating works. As soon as the stirring process stops, the heating is turned off. Another point is that I, a fool, did not immediately notice two mixing modes in the instructions - (2) and (3) and always interfered with (1). Well, at (2) mixing stops every 5 seconds, and at (3) - every 30 seconds and then resumes. This is what I missed so much when I wrote about the slightly high constant stirring speed. In general, you need to read the instructions more thoughtfully.
Marihuna
Kolich, in the video with AT 312 it seems that either you press hard on the rotating element and it stops a little, dragging the nozzle itself along with it, or the nozzle is not fixed to the proper degree of maximum. But, again, these are just sensations, I don't have this attachment, so I can't check it. Perhaps this is indeed the problem.

As for the AT641 (by the way, I don’t have one either) - I did not hear any particularly criminal knock. My rattle when I put the wrong knife in the AT340 was much more noticeable. Directly the crunch was loud loud. But by and large, since the upper part of the machine completely coincides with the top of the KM020 (023), it would be necessary to ask someone from the owners to lay out the sound of his juicer in operation. Well, or somewhere in the Media Markt, ask a consultant girl to show the juicer work (they show everything in action on a sample). Perhaps this is a feature of the work of the nozzle itself.

And so you write "jambs" KM070. It is unlikely that these are the shoals of the machine itself (I repeat, the top from KM020). Most likely the point is in the attachments (or their attachment).

About the AT641 jamb, I can't really check this case of KM070 or the nozzle itself, but with an accuracy of 1000% I declare that there is a jamb in AT312 since I used TWO AT312 nozzles and everything is the same, the nozzle is fixed as much as possible, there is nothing tricky in its mount, I press medium, although what's the difference how to press?
Deep
Kolich, I'm also inclined to the version that you are doing something wrong, forgive me.
It is very strange that the two juicers you have used have the same marriage. Obviously the problem is either with the socket or misuse.Well, and the third option .. maybe it's not a jamb, maybe a feature? )

AT312 was not invented yesterday, it is a hundred years old at lunchtime. There are not very many owners of km070 here yet, but here many have km010 and km020, to which this nozzle fits. Maybe you'd better ask this question in the topic "Kenwood - working with attachments"? Surely, someone has such a juicer and can clarify the situation.
Katrine
Marihuna correctly, I understand that "Stirring with or without a stirrer must be present, since only in this case the heating works. As soon as the stirring process stops, the heating is turned off." Then how does induction steam cooking work? There is no stirrer, but the nest is turning, so what? That is, it turns out that the consumption of e-va when heated for stirring still goes? Then, alas, you can part with my idea of yogurt for the night or proving dough for 3 hours. Thank you

Your equipment is enviable, but I think it's unnecessary. I saw everything in your video - the juice bowl turns. And this is unpleasant. But to believe that this is a marriage in the nest of a car is difficult for me. As well as it is difficult to believe that kenwood in-line makes defective nozzles.
Probably, it's time to contact the service with this question.

So I'm talking about the same thing, that I think the marriage is in the cache itself, but it's interesting that we will service the German cache under the guarantee?

Of course! Contact the nearest Kenwood service.
Only now I wonder if it can be repaired under warranty, or is it still for money, can anyone know whether the cache has a world guarantee or not?

Katrine, regarding the operation of the nozzles during heating, I quote the instructions literally: "... Heating will not start until you select the speed." And once the speed is selected, the socket will spin anyway. By the way, it is also written: "... The maximum cooking time is 3 hours, after which the mixer will automatically turn off ..."
I consider the idea of proving dough and making yoghurts in this device unreasonable, if only because of the high energy consumption. For the sake of 30-35 degrees to drive the car for 3 hours .... I defy and probably will always defend the old fashioned way - on a steam bath in the bathroom. Already accustomed. I put a huge (!!) saucepan in a basin with warm water, let the water go hot for a while (to catch up with the temperature in the room) and voila after an hour and a half, the process is almost complete. Please do not throw slippers at me with bakers and pastry experts :))) Perhaps somewhere I spoil the dough with this (not knowing anything about it scientifically), but this procedure helps out in time ...

Kolich, and the rest of the nozzles on this socket work normally? No offset? Nothing unfolds anymore? Well, somehow I can't believe that this is a marriage of the "nest". My AT340 barely gets up (in a positive sense with an effort) and, accordingly, is also removed. It's just that the fig will turn away. The blender is the same ...
Maybe you should first contact the owners of KM 010 and KM 020 with a question about the operation of the "nest" and AT312? Moreover, with a guarantee, oh, how shaky everything seems to me ... 1000% that will have to be repaired for money, and a considerable one (our repairmen will wind up the fact for the "exclusivity of the model").When we took the car in Ukraine, we were told in the store that it would not be possible to repair the device in Ukraine under warranty. Although on the official Kenwood website in this country, KM070 is present (as opposed to the Russian site). So either to drag to Europe (this is an absolute absurdity), or here for denyuzhku (and who can guarantee you that our would-be craftsmen will not break the machine completely? There is also much more electronics than in the repaired KM020). The best option (provided that the rest of the attachments work without problems), I would consider simply to forget about the problem with the AT312, stupidly adapting to its work (maybe hold the bowl or something else) ...

Well, just so much more impressions as the owner of KM 070 ... Today I was in the Media Market, watched KM010 (my mother wanted to buy it on the DR). Well, no offense will be told to its owners - he seemed sooooo little to me. The bowl is just like a deep bowl. Small. The corolla is unpretentious, unpretentious. So to everyone who would like to buy a Kenwood car, I would advise to take the Major series (KM020 and beyond). More power, outwardly more impressive and, most importantly, the bowl allows you to strive for more.
Although, not without pride, I would like to note that put next to KM020 and KM070 - the latter looks much more impressive. Just like a spaceship next to a helicopter. But again - overpaying something of the order of 10-15 thousand for "beauty", timer and induction is an individual question. Someone wants, and someone else will have enough KM020 (by the way, a reasonable option, especially since I saw some prices for it not so long ago, about 25 thousand, and in Ukraine you can buy it for almost 20 thousand rubles - it's just a find for that kind of money If we compare the cost of KM023 (45 thousand) and the cost of KM020 with the same nozzles purchased at minimum prices separately (and this is the same device in fact), then it is surprising - the price of the latter will be about 10 thousand less. So is it worth overpaying for number 3 in the model designation?

That's just the point, while they used the blender only, everything is ok with it, there are troubles only with these nozzles. others don't even need to use it, they didn't even try)
the only thing that I would like to know about the Kenwood guarantee, if it is world-wide then dick in their ear let them fix it biplatively)))
Katrine
Marihuna understood about heating + rotation, and the steamer, too, with rotation means it works (Have you prepared anything else interesting in your miracle unit?
Marihuna
Katrine, I, in fact, did not buy this device in order to often cook on it (with heating). For this, the stove is still irreplaceable. Originally aimed at KM023. But when I saw that I could buy KM070 for the same money (and even cheaper), I immediately replayed my plans and took a typewriter, so to speak, "with a margin."
But something like that is unlucky for me to show, I bought it, and my husband was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis last week. So we are still on diet number 5. And the steamer is our best friend ... So all the delights are postponed indefinitely ... And it looks like we don't need a bread maker either - only stale bread, yesterday's is possible.
One hope for a daughter - let her learn to cook and eat herself, but everything must be done in moderation, of course ... Otherwise, the exchange will ruin myself ...
But on the DR, my husband will still bake a cake and I want to make custard in KM070. For this (and not only), the device itself took it ...
Katrine
Marihuna, thanks for the answer. Take care of your husband and your health too. And the steamer is a cool thing. I have had a steam oven for a year now, my husband, who had never imagined that food could be eaten without salt, after trying fish, meat, shrimp for a couple, appreciated it)))) But I still need to cook sweets for the children from time to time, because cookies and so on. you no longer want to buy in the store ((((. And in "Volkonsky" you will always go broke. If you suddenly depict something on your miracle machine, we will be happy to read.

Hello everybody! Happy owners of KM 070 and other models with induction heating !!! Big request, tell us:
- does the custard come out in the machine? And also an ice cream mix? From what I read on this (and related) topic, I see that the ice cream maker is one of my favorite baits. But after all, before pouring the mixture for freezing and mixing into the ice cream maker, you also need to prepare this mixture - heat, without bringing to a boil, constantly stirring, cream (milk) with eggs (yolks) and sugar. The task is just for 070, isn't it? Or am I confusing something? It's strange why there are still no reviews about these operations ...
Marihuna
Well, just like looking into the water.
I made custard yesterday. And I did it with the sequence of the bookmarks as usual on the plate. Milk was added to the beaten egg mixture with flour and sugar at room temperature and heated.
In general, the cream turned out, BUT:
Firstly, it was slightly burnt on the bottom (this can be avoided by setting the temperature lower, but for now I did it by typing at 120 degrees, I wanted to quickly heat the mass)
Secondly, the 070 has a nuance - on heating, the stirrer (whisk) works ONLY at a certain speed (something like stirring). And I'm used to whipping the cream very intensively when heated - a kind of smooth homogeneous mass is obtained. At Kenwood, everything turned out fine, but due to the low mixing speed, the flour turned out to be more pronounced grains (without lumps, of course, but I didn't really like the consistency.) If the choice of speed on heating was the same as without heating, there would be no price for the unit.

In general, after the preparation of the cream, there was some dissatisfaction that made me climb into the Internet and find a technological chart for making custard. Now next time I'll try to do it differently - pour hot milk (brought to a boil) into the egg mixture, then beat it intensively at swing speed, and only then put the mixture on undercutting at 95 degrees. In short, I'll do it as technologists write. Let's see what happens. It seems that everything should be fine.

As it happens so far.
I haven't made ice cream yet, although there is a nozzle.
Tamarix
How else can you use induction heating?
Marihuna
In general, I made the custard again. By the process described above.
The cream turned out, but the very process of jumping around Kenwood with a tambourine did not like in principle.
Firstly, even if we pour hot milk (boiling water) into the egg mixture, the temperature of the resulting mixture is not sufficient for thickening and we still put it on heating. But at 95 degrees, my mixture "thickened" for an hour !!!!!!!! On principle, I decided to bring the matter to the end at this temperature.
Secondly, at first I whipped everything with a whisk, but when heated, all the flour for some reason settled at the bottom of the whisk in a lump. I had to urgently take it out, clean it, drive these lumps into the mixture with an ordinary mixer because when the bowl was already heated, then in the car some sensor does not allow everything to be intensively stirred when it is turned off. In short, until the bowl (or temperature sensor - I can't say for sure) cools down, the intensive process of whipping will not begin, no matter how you want it.
After that, I changed the whisk to a silicone mixing nozzle, but still the process dragged on in the end so much that the mood was completely spoiled.

Summary: if the whipping speed during heating could be changed to the maximum, the device would be super. BUT, due to its technical features, making custard from a pleasant 5-10 minute process turns into almost an hour-long dancing with a tambourine. Perhaps there are some other ways of preparing this cream that would definitely fit this device, but so far I have not liked this process in KM 070.

The question for what else can be used induction heating while I can not answer very extensively (just what I tried myself) - sauces, eggplant caviar (hands free), pasta with seafood (filling preparation). I haven't tried risotto yet, but I think there shouldn't be any problems. Perhaps some soups to cook ... I'm just not such a culinary specialist as the girls present at this forum.I read their recipes and blush at my own abilities. Perhaps they would have come up with something cool for this machine.
In a week I'll sign off on the preparation of chocolate icing for the cake. I'll try her.

BUT so far my opinion about the induction in KM070 is more likely not a necessity, but a toy. I just bought it at the same price for which I could buy KM 020 in Moscow. As a result, I don't see much of a loss. Basically, I use the functions of the combine.
Tamarix
Marihuna, thanks for the unsubscribe. We are waiting for new messages. Please also tell us: 1) about the speed of rotation of the nozzle on heating - you say that the speed is high, but is there a choice of speed? In models KM 084, 086 - three heating speeds are declared by the manufacturer. How about 070?
2) In the Kenwood brand store, I was told that all models with induction heating are equipped with a special whisk (hook) for stirring, which must be used during heating. And how in reality?
As for the custard - this process on the combine should not take so much time and effort. Technique should simplify, facilitate work and free up time, effort, hands. Agree? I think the first option was more correct from the point of view of application in the car, maybe you should just adjust the temperature? I would love to check it myself, but for now I'm just going to get an assistant, I really want
Now, I'm stuck at the moment - which model to choose: with or without induction? Well, I just can't decide ... There is such a great hope to simplify the process of stirring the custard and ice cream mixture on the stove, that I even agree to a 6.7 liter bowl. And if that doesn't work, then it can be simpler.
One hope is for those who already enjoy such beauty with might and main (in the sense of a harvester with heating), and of these users you are still the most experienced, responsive and talkative. Thank you !!! Do not leave us without information and at a crossroads, otherwise we will die like a hungry donkey Pliz !!!
