No, Ol, it's all for peace!
I am not going to elaborate on knives. I'm just talking about graters. (it all started with them)
A few days ago, in a German officer. There was a lot of variety on the site, but now they were reworking there - and the choice was scanty. Here, in Russia, note that in Ukraine there are and are sold both Classics, and Trend, and Prima, and frames and individual graters, etc. and knives.
I do not argue, I just suggest not to get stuck.

Ol, I have no extra slippers. I'll take an interest in the current: name, sister, name! (c) Shaw for graters, sho demolish them nyama, but are not cheaper than Berner? We can do this too. We're all plague here, right now we'll rush to buy to check
My clients took on an old job 7 years ago and after 7 years I saw graters again ...
They are called LuxPro
look here, but the store was not this one and the price was more than 700 UAH.

Che, it seems to me that this is all because of us. We lived, the Germans, we lived, we were slowly selling graters, and here we - the first German call, then - the second one. And they are not fools. They sense that right now the third one will roll over, they have hidden everything, they cannot figure out what price to put higher, they won't scare us away, and they can’t boil ourselves. I think that in a week or two there will be everything and even more, but at higher prices.

The market has become scarce - since our invasion did a couple of times
And the fact that we sell everything that is not in Germany - so the market is also completely different, if we would not have a demand, there would be no supply. Here only on our site there are more hostesses than in Germany for several years they have made purchases.

Oh, I know, I know. A year ago I tossed between ProVi and Berner, but I could not find any reviews on ProVi anywhere. Rather, I found it 50:50 - someone came across gorgeous, and someone terrible, although they were bought in the same TV shop. I was afraid to take risks, after all, the price is not small. If we pay that kind of money, then we would like to get guaranteed quality. I got it with Berner.
The only thing I miss in Berner is a small fruit holder for small vegetables / fruits. Such a transparent glass. For cherry tomatoes, olives, radishes, mushrooms, strawberries - super!
And now the price has dropped dramatically, and again it's dumb: if it's cheaper, it means it's a Chinese fake

I have just written on the Ideal, At the very bottom of the package.
It is written: "Representative in the CIS, etc., name, address, telephone number. I mean, it is not written that it was made to order and technical control ..." Well, I don’t see.

In general, I think that the graters obtained from Germany were just produced recently, so, probably, the design and plastic are different. And those sold in Ukraine are of earlier production. On the back of each grater there is a date of manufacture: a circle with numbers and an arrow in the middle. The numbers in a circle represent the month of manufacture, and the numbers between the arrow represent the year. Which number the arrow points to is the month of manufacture. Here on the German thread I received is the date: 9.2012, and on the graters there are different dates: on Resty 11.2010, on Rocco 1.2013, on Carly 9.2012, on Deco-Star 11.2012. The resti was made earlier than anyone else, its plastic color is lighter and is not embossed on the Berner handle. And the Baby bought in Kiev in February in the style of Trend 2.2005.
And what is the date, for example, on a Trend purchased in Ukraine?
sima12
Everyone ran to look at the arrows: my Lotion, bought last week in Kiev, was made in December 2011. And the "oldest" was Carly - March 2007, bought a month ago, the plastic is the most matte of all graters.

Girls, Borner are cool graters, but truth be told, I didn't quite understand the knife craze. After all, everyone wants better. How would I do if I need to buy knives? I just typed in a search engine in Google or Yandex: the best knives in the world are ... which I have now done. A bunch of sites and links and various articles on the topic of knives, but I didn't find Borner's ones, not only in the forefront, but I didn't find them at all. So you may not be in a hurry, it's not worth a penny. Here, I copied the first thing that came across, in other places, too, like:
"Leaders in quality are traditionally considered to be German manufacturers (Solingen), but in recent years, the" Japanese "(Tsuki Masamoto, Sakon, Bunmei Gincho, Kai, Global, Ikkaku Donryu, Kasumi) have been steadily catching up with them. Swiss and Belgian knives are also quite good (Berghoff ) production.Italian (Lacor, Paderno), Spanish (Arcos) and Brazilian manufacturers show a very decent level. The lowest level is “consumer goods” Chinese, Korean knives, knives made in CIS countries (with the rare exception of products from highly professional individual craftsmen).
By the way, a few words about Solingen: not everyone knows that this is not the name of one manufacturing company, but a German city that has been famous for its gunsmiths for 700 years. Today in Solingen there are more than 100 small enterprises and forges, each of which has its own brand and name, but in terms of product quality, they, in principle, differ little from each other. In any case, on the blade of a real knife from Solingen, not only the word Solingen, but also the name and brand of a particular manufacturer should be indicated. "

I don't rely on my stirrer for the lid, to be honest (((I even then noticed that the lid disappeared from their banner. So I quickly ordered in Ozone ...
I was also surprised - there is no lid, but there is a stirrer ... Aydiyotka)))

Maybe it's true, somewhere in other and-no-stores lying around?

Girls, after my enthusiasm for Burner, I now came to complain. I opened the combislicer that had just come to me.
I did not expect this quality from Burner, here the quality is worse than in my Chinese grater for 15 UAH.
The blade is dull-dull.I started to cut the onion, but it doesn’t cut, I’ll make it big, my hand jumped off the bow and I hit the blade with my thumb .... I hit it. Yes, yes, I just hit them, and did not cut myself, although it flashed in my head that it was a bit of a finger. The husband looked at the blade, and it was not sharpened at all, it seemed that the iron plate was set, but they forgot to sharpen it. You can safely move your finger over it, and you can press your finger hard, nothing will happen. The plastic is also terrible, it is all bent, with roughness both on the front side and on the back. There are no identification marks on the reverse side. And the bolts that can be used to adjust the cutting width, we could not move at all.

In short, I'm shocked.
Girls, don't ever take a combislicer

And where did I write that this is the old site with a new design? The previous site, or rather the link to the old one, redirects to this site. That's all. All the answers will come later. A new owner, a new form of trade - this is not yet clear.

Both in Asia and in Mexico City it is written: "Produced by order and under the technical control of Borner GmbН. Importer, representative in the CIS LLC Berner East Moscow, 129626, Rizhsky pr. 11 tel / fax (495) 683-00-78 🔗

That is, it is produced in Russia "under the supervision of Berner".

So the importer, as you know, buys goods abroad and brings them from there. Why do you think what is produced in Russia, I still do not understand.

Vegetable I have a triangular Berner's, bought 7 years ago with smooth blades, remained invincible in front of everyone else, different companies, bought at different times. But the round one that came in the last German joint venture did not fit into my hand, it is inconvenient, even for a small potato. Maybe I'm used to holding and guiding the peeler differently.
In kitchen trivia recently (and this is probably already five pages ago), they discussed what is better than a Berner vegetable peeler from victorinox (Switzerland). These are the words of Dopleta herself !!!!!! And this vegetable peeler costs 30 hryvnia only with a 35-year warranty. They rushed to buy them right there and now they will appear in stock only in April. This company also has famous knives (by the way).
Here is a site where you can immediately see the variety of peelers of this company: 🔗... There are also in Germany, but does it make sense to drag them out of there, if we sell it at a low price?
Also, once on the forum someone praised the vegetable peeler very much, and for a long time we searched for the manufacturer and found the Tringles company (you need to look for how it is written in German). I posted links to the products of this company in the topic about purchases from foreign sites, somewhere at the beginning. so there is a good alternative. I'll definitely try, Berner's one already looks awful, it was originally white .. and now it's just dirty along the corners and grooves.

The fruit holder clings to the box for inserts, and the box itself to Prima. True insert for 10 walks.

So the importer, as you know, buys goods abroad and brings them from there. Why do you think what is produced in Russia, I still do not understand.
Yes, the importer buys, and the quote says "made for Berner". That is, it was not Berner himself who produced, but only exercised control.
And earlier there was also information that there is a plant in Russia that makes the Classic grater. Some of the girls wrote that they looked at the inscription "made in the GDR" on some grater bought in the CIS (I don't remember, in Russia or Ukraine). Well, how could we sell goods from the GDR to ours, when it collapsed even when the devils, and it looks like ours bought out just the old Berner's tooling, tooling or stamps, since Berner, during the existence of the GDR, was already famous for his graters.
Mona in this Temka also compared the inserts to the Trend, bought in a joint venture from Germany, and bought in Ukraine, posted a photo, they are different. There is a ledge, there is a slightly different shape, you will not immediately notice ...
The price list for Ukrainian Berner for some things (not grating) directly indicated what was made in China ...! Generally beyond understanding!
So, bit by bit, there is a general confidence that all or part of the goods sold in the CIS as Berner are not made in Germany.
