Toffee, I like it myself. For once, I have NOTHING on the table !!! The working surface is absolutely free! And while everything is at hand, there is no need to reach anywhere for anything.

All the same, I bought Prima, red. Well, what can I say. Very comfortable, smooth and straight bladeless insert. I cut cabbage on it without a fruit holder and nothing got stuck anywhere. I liked the thinnest slicing - cut the onion on it for the casserole. I also tried to cut the onion on a 7mm knife insert at the "cubes" position - a normal crumb turned out. Then I tried to cut the carrots into cubes. Girls, these are not sub-cubes or parallelepipeds, and not even rhombuses, this is some kind of horror. I should have photographed it, but there was no time. In short, it was full of some kind of scraps of an incomprehensible shape. Maybe you can crumble carrots into soup, but not into a stew. I took mine to adapt a wooden one and chopped into normal cubes. Yes, I also discovered one inconvenience - the knife inserts in the position of the bars are practically not fixed in any way and jump up themselves if you accidentally press on it from the edge with your finger. I'm used to the fact that my Pro inserts are fixed tightly. Now I sit and think about what kind of grater to take with me on vacation.

Hmm, well, a little free, but so far it has not jumped out in 7.5 months. And the bars I have a constant type of cutting, I’m lazy with Berner, potatoes are everywhere in cubes, with a knife, no, no))) On these bars, cabbage for salad, for pies, for pizza, I shout everything.

I'm not fond of cubes, so, I cut potatoes several times, but the insert did not jump up and did not notice any inconvenience when working with it (well, perhaps, I'm afraid these knife inserts, but this is not Berner's fault)

Thank you!
I now have to buy a 10x10mm insert for Prima, and then I can take it on vacation. She's really lighter than the Pro. I'm too lazy to cut with a knife. all that can be cut on a grater, I cut on it. Even if it's just one onion

You know, we have a whole team here on the branch (we will not name names), which on the trend did not move the inserts "to the click" and also seemed to be rather weak. Maybe you have the same parsley. Look, it can click there, like in your Pro, something must. And then it will stand firmly. Of course, I apologize for the advice, I don't have Prima, like hers, I don't know, it's just such an assumption.
Lenusik-sh
On Prima it is not so arranged. The insert is simply lowered from top to bottom into the grooves. It does not move forward and backward by itself, but it goes up freely, Therefore, if you accidentally press on the handle from the side of the handle, then the insert pops up. You just need to get used to not touching it, hold the grater only by the handle.

Actually, it turns out complete crap. Pay for a plastic container (for which the red price is 15 UAH!) 120 UAH, and then rack your brains and hands by improving it. This is somehow ... not Bernerian, I would say. If you really charge that kind of money for your products, please, bring them to perfection!
No, our need, of course, is tricky for inventions (not a fig for myself, I tell you, I tightened my kit for 1200 UAH !!!), but it wouldn’t be worth being impudent. This attitude towards the customer tarnishes the reputation that has been earned over the years.

I completely agree. I even wanted to give up the dish when I saw that it did not have rubber feet. But then I thought that it is still better than just a basin that will also slide.

Hello everyone! So I got a borner! The question arose: how to place the combichipser and combislider on the vessel? Roko got up without any problems, but I can't figure out how to attach these ...

Girls, and today I bought a baby-grater (the trend seems to be) for 50 rubles, the most is a little strange. Only it is a little lighter than the orange set, and everything seems to be fine - it says on the inner insert a bonus, 50 years old Berner. I haven't tried it yet.
Mushka_Liz
I'll tell you my background - maybe someone will be interested.
One summer my husband and I got out of our village to the mainland. We bought him a tool there: jigsaws there, screwdrivers, shovels ... My husband was madly happy, but upon arriving home, his conscience suddenly tortured him: "How is it? You didn't take anything? Maybe you also need something for the kitchen?"

Somehow I did not think about this, but since they started a conversation, gave the go-ahead, I began to select myself on the Internet ... a food processor. I reviewed a bunch of videos, re-read the reviews pages ... But my heart was not lying. Either there are not enough attachments, then this citrus juicer (and I already have it in the meat grinder), then the price goes beyond the budget. Yes, and these ubiquitous unwashed leftovers, which just strive to fall into a bowl with grated products. And the semicircular potato sticks are not at all pleasing. And you need to either keep all this on the table, or use it 2 times a year, because you are too lazy to get it out of the box.

And during such doubts, one forum caught my eye, in which Nyseers, alligators and other grinders were discussed. Then I decided that I probably didn’t really need a harvester yet, wouldn’t it be better to look at something fashionable manual. In search of this "something" I came across this forum thread about the great and mighty ... Berener. I reread this topic at random. Along the way, I rummaged through the entire official website, and everything that the search engine gives out for the query "Berner vegetable cutter" ... That's how I got to the idea of a fix that I need a Berner vegetable cutter. But which one ???

First, I settled on the Prima, as the latest model with all the latest improvements. But in the course of reading the first part of the topic, I began to lean towards the Trend. Like, time-tested quality. For a week I probably rushed from side to side, but still deciding that the first decision was the most correct - I ordered the same. offer on the official website. For 3394r, if I'm not mistaken.

It would seem, calm down, sit and wait for your package. But doubts still remained. Somehow I wanted to try the Trend too ...

In general, I ordered it. On Ozone. Vegetable cutter Trend + inserts 1.6 mm and 10 mm + two transparent boxes for inserts + containers Trend + vegetable cutter waffle Classic.
In the same place I ordered an even larger wooden stand for Berner knives for 6 knives (including a hatchet) with a compartment for scissors - for 660 rubles, and two Oriental way wooden serving spoons made of Hevea wood for 228 rubles.
Paid for everything together 2840r.
(actually 3600, but part of the amount was paid with "thank you" bonuses from Sberbank)
And even before the end of September, there is free delivery in Ozone.
As a result, I sit and wait for two parcels at once. True, she did not tell her husband that she ordered a second set of vegetable cutters at Ozone. He only knows about a stand for knives and serving spoons (he himself asked for wooden ones).

Here is the beginning. Let's see what happens next

Indeed, I completely forgot to say hello.

Hello everyone!!!

Hi, Ksyushk @ -Plushk @, almost a countrywoman
Yes, I think that I will find someone to "attach" one set. But I will decide which one during the tests. The main thing is that both reach. And in general, maybe I will like both of them, and I will take turns using them.

Yesterday we were preparing lecho, and I had a question. Has anyone chopped vegetables for lecho on the Berner? Which attachment did you use to cut the tomatoes?

As a Trend, I mainly cut tomatoes into rings. How would you like it? If not overripe, then 7mm cubes could be. Overripe is more problematic already, crushes.

Our person! My husband still half a year after buying the Trend, waffle, Roco and a bunch of other things, he still does not know how much it all cost me. And on the sly, replenishment of the collection continues.
So congratulations on your shopping. I would, however, buy one thing, but + all sorts of Rocko, Carly, and other graters. They do not duplicate the main set, but give a new type of cutting. And Prima and Trend for the most part duplicate each other. Only Prima has a slightly wider functionality, while the Trend has better reliability and the residuals on the Trend remain smaller.
Mona1
But if you didn’t rub anything before, and now you have both, then this is a unique opportunity for all of us to find out what you’re all about, after using it a little, you will grow your soul, and then we often have battles here, which is better , Trend or Prima, and so you, as an independent party, will try everything and tell us what it is, current happiness.
Mushka_Liz

but here we often have battles, which is better, Trend or Prima.

So that's why I went broke on both models at once, because I read a lot of your disputes here. I'll try and decide which one suits me best. And I'll give the second to my husband's sister. She was just buying her parents a Chinese analogue of the trend, but she does not use it, since she was caught terrible.

And the tomatoes - I cut them into quarters with my hands. They then boil down, remain stripes. Although, the tomatoes will probably boil up and fall apart anyway. 7mm blocks will be good. I just like the "striped" lecho, like a Korean carrot, only slightly larger.
azaza
Tomato slices are not a good idea. There will be a lot of waste, or a lot will have to be cut by hand. At first they are excellently cut (if not overripe, of course), and then one wall is crumpled, flattened, and ends up in an uncut residue.Maybe it's better in circles? So they cut without problems and without a trace. You can take medium-sized cream for lecho, for example. I cut small ones for freezing - just gorgeous!
Or, as an option, cut a large tomato into quarters already in a fruit holder and cut on a knifeless one.
makabusha
And in my Berner, the pins in the fruit holder move tightly. That is, it is not always possible to smoothly and easily move the vegetable forward during the rubbing process. And I got some kind of potato ... generally iron ... with difficulty rubbed against the fruit-bearer, I put it forward with great effort. Did anyone have that?
And tell me, do you drive vegetables on a grater only in one direction? left-to-right or top-down ... I can do it in both directions at a fast pace.
And in general, I noticed that when I cut quickly, then everything is erased practically without residues, and when slowly, as with this iron potato, large pieces remain in the remainder.
azaza
Makabush, on the knifeless one, Carly or Roko, I do not tear my hand off, I rub it in both directions. Is that cabbage on Carly I try in one direction, otherwise the cabbage, due to layering, scatters in different directions. And on the knife I raise the vegetable when I bring my hand up. Otherwise, instead of even bars, you will get uneven noodles.

Tan, why don't you have Roko? It’s better than an insert. On the insert, there are ragged pieces on the blocks, if the hand trembled slightly to the side, but on Roko everything is even.

Monich, I have Roko. The carrot is a bit heavy on it in length. And I've already become addicted to carrots. I'll try 1.6 - maybe it will go easier. I no longer need a runoff, the carrot itself is lope. Well, if 1.6 is not easier than on Roko, then there will be another felt in the house. I have few of them, panima
