  • It is convenient to cook minced meat for stuffed cabbage in a saucepan. Fry a sufficiently large amount of onions, put boiled and chopped mushrooms in there, add grated carrots after 7-10 minutes, fry over low heat, then put boiled rice. Stir. Salt pepper. For juiciness, pour the broth left over from the mushrooms into a saucepan. Close the lid and simmer until almost cooked. The filling should be liquid enough. That is, to sway. Then the cabbage rolls will not be dry.
  • The hardest part is cutting winter cabbage. I cut the stump and boil the cabbage. More often it happens that the upper leaves are already ready, and the lower ones, as they were "oak", remained so. So I weld on ... until I disassemble the whole swing.
  • And then it's simple: wrap the filling in cabbage leaves. Fold into a saucepan. Prepare the sauce. To do this, heat the vegetable oil, put flour in it, sauté until golden brown, stir so that it would not be a lump, then, for those who love, add tomato paste, continue to fry, stirring, and then add water, first a little, in then bring the amount of water to the required amount, so that the sauce covers the cabbage rolls. Season with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce over the cabbage rolls and put the cabbage rolls in the oven or simmer over low heat on top. I love soft cabbage rolls, so I usually bake them at a temperature of 170-180 degrees for two hours.
  • The husband does not fast, so he got minced meat for cabbage rolls as a side dish. Delicious too!
