Bread with oatmeal in a bread maker

Ingredients

Baked milk (or fermented baked milk, or just milk) 220 ml
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Eggs 2 pcs.
Honey or sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Salt 1 tsp
Wheat flour 340 g
Oat flakes 160 g
Dry yeast 2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Put baked milk, eggs, vegetable oil, honey and salt into the bucket of a bread machine. Add flakes and shake gently several times to mix the flakes with the liquid. Sift flour, put yeast in a depression in flour. Oven in the "Bran Bread" mode, or generally, the crust is medium. Baked milk or fermented baked milk gives a particularly beautiful crust and crumb color. Variations in flavor / color are achieved using different flakes and different types of vegetable oil. You can use bran flour. You can add raisins or other dried fruits.

Elderly family members value bread very much.
You can experiment with increasing the amount of flakes, but do not reduce the flour. The maximum I have tried is 200 g of non-boiled oatmeal. It turned out well with 200 g, only the roof is not so high, almost flat.

I cooked with baked milk 2.5% fat (the bun turned out to be quite steep, I think you need to put a little more milk, and the bread is rather dense), using a mixture of "7 cereals" (after grinding it in a coffee grinder). Honey put 2 tbsp. l. with a slide (it is already well sugared), yeast - 7 gr. (Lviv), in butter (30 gr.). I also added light raisins - 30 gr. The bread turned out to be fragrant 880 gr.
HB - Panasonic SD-2501, baked using 3 programs, size L, medium crust.

BigDog thank you for the recipe! I only reduced it a little, i.e. the amount of ingredients. One baked with oatmeal (the one on the left), and the other with buckwheat (the one on the right)!
