Ingredients

Beef 300 g
Pork 300 g
Turkey fillet 300 g
Fresh or dry mushrooms handful
Dry white bread 3-4 slices
Milk half a glass
Bulb onions 2 pcs.
Garlic 3 cloves
Potatoes 1 PC.
Grated cheese 2-3 st. l.
Eggs are cool 4 things.
Salt, pepper, dried herbs taste

Cooking method

  • Prepare minced meat from meat, bread, onions, garlic and potatoes. Season with salt and pepper, add dry ground rosemary, basil and dill. Knead the minced meat well. Chop mushrooms and onions and fry. Line the refractory form with food foil, carefully put half of the minced meat, hard-boiled eggs on it and cover with the second half of the minced meat, giving it the shape of a loaf, and on top of the resulting roll, put the fried mushrooms and onions. Cover the entire structure with foil, securing the free edges on all sides. Bake in the oven at 220 degrees for 45 minutes. 10 minutes before the end, carefully unpack the roll, sprinkle with grated cheese on top and send back to the oven. Serve with your favorite side dish, drizzle over the juice from the roast.

This dish originated and got its funny name in Germany in the XYIII century, when people of the lower classes did not have the right to hunt in the forests of landowners and were forced to replace game with available products.
