White fish with fruit sauce

Ingredients

White fish (cod, hake, hockey, pollock) 1 kg
pineapple (I have canned) 200-250g
apples 250g
lemon juice / vinegar 2 tbsp. spoons
vodka 30 ml
Apple juice 200 ml
sugar 2 tsp
garlic 2 teeth
tomato paste 2 tsp
salt
starch
vegetable oil

Cooking method

  • Cut the prepared fish into portions and make cuts, up to the vertebrae, rub with salt.
  • Dilute starch with water 1x1, dip pieces of fish in it, then roll in dry starch. Place in a bowl and set aside.
  • And now the sauce. Cut apples and pineapple into slices and place in a skillet or small saucepan with a thick bottom with a little oil, heat the fruit, add garlic (crushed or finely chopped), sugar, apple juice, tomato paste and lemon juice,
  • add a little salt, bring to a boil, pour in vodka and remove from heat.
  • Fry the fish until tender and pour over the hot sauce.
  • Serve with crumbly rice and herbs.
  • I served with nothing. Fruit sauce was enough for us. Delicious.
