Moldovan-style meat with quince in a multicooker Brand 37502

Ingredients

Meat (I have pork) 1 kg
Japanese yayva 7 pcs.
Dried celery root 2 tbsp. l.
Bulb onions 4 things.
Garlic 3 tooth.
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Ground coriander 1 tsp
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Put the meat, cut into pieces, in a multicooker saucepan, salt.
  • Add chopped onion, celery root and stir.
  • Extinguishing mode. Depending on the type of meat from 1 to 2 hours.
  • Chop the quince, remove the core. Finely chop the garlic.
  • Add quince, garlic, sugar to the meat, stir and simmer for another 1 hour.
  • Serve with potatoes fried with green onions. Delicious!!!!!!

how is the bush?
earlier in central Ukraine (cherries grow there beautifully) quince was considered a southern tree. I remember my grandmother was worried in the cold winter that she could freeze. and it was not a bush in any way, but a low, about 3-meter tree.

Henomeles Japanese, or Japanese quince - Ch. japonica

Leafy bush about 3 m high, with a dense crown up to 3 m. Young leaves are bronze in color, and mature leaves turn dark green. Frost resistant, however, in severe winters with little snow, the ends of the shoots are damaged by frost. Flower buds located closer to the ground, as a rule, are not damaged, plants bloom and bear fruit annually. Propagated by seeds, root suckers, layering, cuttings. The great advantage of this plant is its early flowering. It can be used for single, group, curb and edge plantings, in hedges.
