Fresh tomatoes or in their own juice 4-6pcs
Vegetable broth or water 0,5l
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l.
Garlic 1 clove
Onion 1 PC
Rice 150g
Grape vinegar 1 tbsp. l.
Spinach 50g
Salt, black pepper taste
Gelatin 10g

Cooking method

  • Soak gelatin in tomato juice for 20 minutes.
  • Wash the pepper and tomatoes, dry and put in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes, then put them in a plastic bag, tie it up and leave for 5 minutes. Then carefully peel the peppers and seeds, cut into 4-6 pieces, remove the skin from the tomato and cut into half rings.
  • Peel the onion and garlic, chop, fry in vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes, then add rice and wine vinegar diluted in 50 ml of water (or 75 ml of dry white wine if you do not fast) and let the water with vinegar or wine evaporate. Then pour hot broth over the ladle and wait until the liquid has completely evaporated before pouring in more. Cook the rice until tender - about 20-30 minutes, then cool.
  • Wash the spinach, pour boiling water for 1 minute, then squeeze out and pour over ice water.
  • Heat the tomato juice while stirring until the gelatin is completely dissolved, cool.
  • Cover the form with cling film.
  • Dip the tomatoes in the juice and put them in a mold, pour a little juice on top. Then we spread the spinach, then - rice, lettuce. Pour juice, salt and pepper on each layer. We hit the bottom of the mold on the table so that the juice is evenly distributed and put the dish in the refrigerator to cool and freeze for 2 hours.

And if you ask for this dish, then you can do without agar, just put a load on top of the mold, the rice itself is sticky and will keep its shape, spinach and pepper will also not go anywhere from it.
