 Each teacher (of course, a subject specialist) has his own criteria for a gifted child. And this has its own justice, which is not denied by human life itself, because any specific activity requires specific skills, skills, knowledge, thinking from a person. And if we take into account that the activity can be creative and reproductive and creatively reproductive, then the criterion of a child's giftedness should be discussed from the point of view of the specifics of professional activity, in which the high achievements of a gifted child are clearly visible.
Gifted children are children from 3 years old to 18 years old. At an early age, they show tendencies for certain types of creativity. In terms of abilities, gifted children are ahead of their peers in certain types of activity, have a greater working capacity, are characterized by the advanced development of intelligence relative to their age. Increased propensity for mental activity, interest in certain types of activity, in the elements of the original in their own work. Desire to create, craving for search, for invention, for travel, for "fantastic" projects. The child's desire to determine his own destiny in objective circumstances determines the child's optimism in life. Gifted children of the same age discover the source of all that is good and unique. Gifted children have the mental ability to concentrate, to interpret something, to express themselves in their own behavior among their peers. These children are always attentive, collected, ready for strenuous work.
Gifted children have the skills of self-control in learning activities, often question certain scientifically meaningful phenomena, stereotypes and dogmas. Such children are freedom-loving, do not wait for ready-made recipes for activity, actively suggest their own ways to overcome problem situations. These children stimulate teachers and educators to create problem situations of the council of cognitive interests, constantly expanding their horizons. They have a well-developed memory, a wealth of imagination, various types of thinking, all of which are interconnected.
So the process of creativity borders on a miracle in the mind of a child, it is first revealed through imitation of samples of creative work, through free play, gaining experience of creative feelings in educational activity.
If we consider the content of a child's giftedness in an abstract manner, without going into a specific activity or professional specialization, this means talking about the child's spiritual self-identity, about the teamwork of imagination and a certain style of thinking, in a certain creative work and excessive concentration on what you love, on the satisfaction of creativity.
For every teacher who had to analyze the creative works of gifted children in his work, at first glance, independence in reasoning, in comprehending new associations and the sensual language of his own body is striking. We understand this aspect from the position that a gifted child in his own mind has created a new product, previously unknown to him, but possibly known in social experience. Thus, a gifted child is recognized in the process of independent activity representing the child's works. In some hearths, this process is modeled by teachers so that gifted children reach a higher level in the future and receive a higher social value, i.e. brought society to a qualitatively new information about the unknown.
To say about gifted children, one should limit ourselves to the fact that this is a "gift". Who owns this gift? Of course, first of all, the child himself ... And teachers contribute to the genetic inclinations of a gifted child through a certain type of thinking and type of activity. It is insightful teachers who foreshadow talent in the child, improving the natural capabilities of the child's giftedness. Subsequently, the gifted child already independently realizes and consolidates the discovered and acquired abilities, determines creative freedom and chooses the direction of independent creativity in adulthood.
