It is generally accepted that it was with Panasonic products that the fashion for multicooker began in our country. Such a well-known manufacturer was the first to sell these magnificent devices in our country.

I found out about all this later, and my acquaintance with the brand began with the fact that I was puzzled by the choice of a multicooker. I will not delve into the reasons why I needed it, I will only say that now, when I have appreciated all its functionality, I cannot imagine a kitchen without this wonderful machine.

A little about the technical characteristics

·4.5L working bowl. On the first day Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW I made myself my favorite buckwheat. Unlike the SR-TMH18, this model comes with a new porridge spatula, which I really liked.

·Liquid crystal display though small, but this is probably even better. Kitchen after all: splashes, fumes, etc. The screen is thus wounded. And then: its size is quite enough to display the main parameters. Nothing more, in a word.

So what is it good for?

Another plus is the large number of cooking modes. The approach is quite rational: each dish assumes a certain character of the multicooker's work. Rice for sushi, milk porridge, pilaf - all of them and many other dishes have their own mode. You just need to "load" the necessary products and ingredients and select the appropriate mode. This is where my role ends - the machine itself will determine when the dish reaches a state of full readiness. This option is commonly referred to as “touch cooking”.

A separate mode is provided for baking. Since I purchased the Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW, pizza in my house is hardly translated. You can, of course, indulge yourself with other goodies: charlottes, cupcakes, pies. But I still like pizza more.

The "Stew" mode involves cooking food very slowly (up to 12 hours). A very convenient option for preparing complex dishes. Or, on the contrary, you can prepare food in an accelerated mode - and in just a few minutes you will have a delicious breakfast.

Another mode - "Steam cooking" - a real find for those who prefer an exceptionally healthy diet. To cook in this mode, you must use a special container (it is attached to the multicooker).

I cannot but mention the function of heating ready meals. I dreamed of such an opportunity for a long time: you do not always have time to take out the prepared dish on time. With the Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW multicooker, this problem is solved: if necessary, it will automatically reheat food (but not longer than 12 hours).

You can postpone the start of cooking by 13 hours. In the morning you “load” the groceries, set up your car and go to work. You come in the evening and enjoy the taste and aroma of fresh food.

The Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW multicooker has brought an unprecedented variety to my diet.Meat, vegetables, potatoes, dumplings, cereals, muffins, breads, buns, compotes ... And the best part is that I make a minimum of effort. In fact, I just put the necessary ingredients into the machine and choose the optimal cooking mode.

There are 12 varieties of bread alone (you can even change the color according to your preferences). In skillful hands, you can make the most delicate jams with the help of a multicooker.

In general, despite its extensive functionality, this multicooker model is quite simple to operate. Comprehensive instructions guide you through all the buttons and options. By the way, much was clear without her - the interface is accessible at an intuitive level.

How about a build?

There is no need to worry about this - the assembly of the Panasonic SR-TMJ181HTW multicooker is made at a high level. The body is made of lightweight, but highly durable material, the reliability of which does not raise any questions.

As I said, it is not difficult to take care of this multicooker: I can easily cope with all stains and traces of grease.
