Precautions

The device is intended for domestic use only.
The maximum operating time of the device is 30 minutes, then turn off the device and leave the motor to cool down for at least 20 minutes.
The device has an emergency overheating protection. In case of overheating when the maximum operating time of 30 minutes is exceeded, the device will automatically shut down. In this case, remove the plug from the socket, disassemble the wringer part of the oil press, clean it and let the engine cool down. The device can be used in 40-50 minutes.
Do not pour liquid or water into the loading chamber installed on the motor housing.

Raw materials intended for use

The device is designed to extract oil from products such as sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, rapeseed, peanuts, etc. with an oil content of 30% and more.
Products such as amaranth or soy are not suitable for pressing oil in this machine as they contain very little oil.
The machine is not suitable for extracting oil from wheat germ.
Large nuts (walnuts, etc.) must be crushed into pieces about the size of a sunflower seed before pressing. Do not grind the ingredients to a finer fraction than the above mentioned sunflower seed size!

There are three control buttons on the instrument panel:

oil enters the container through a sieve, which additionally filters the oil from various small particles and foam. Only a fine suspension passes through the sieve, a sediment, which takes place in some nuts. Subsequently, the oil settles in the cold, and the sediment falls to the bottom of the container, the oil becomes transparent.

The auger together with the squeezing basket is rigidly fixed to the device body. And in order to remove the auger from the device, it is necessary to remove the loading chamber-bunker from the device, and unlock the device, for which you need to transfer the "squeeze basket lock" from the closed state "lock icon closed" to open state "lock icon open"

Exploitation. oil extraction

Prepare seeds or nuts in advance. For example, I'll take sunflower seeds. Sunflower oil, pressed on a home oil press

Assemble the oil press completely, prepare it for work. Insert the auger under the front cover. Place containers for oil and cake under the auger. Connect the device to the network.

Open the lid of the loading chamber-hopper, add seeds. Close the lid of the loading chamber-bunker tightly, in this case the blocker should work, a signal will sound.

Press the "On / Off" button, let it warm up and reach the operating temperature on the "front cover of the squeeze basket", while the red indicator light on the button will flash. Be very careful, the lid will heat up, it is better not to touch it with your hands. Heating is not strong, the hand suffers, but it is better to know about it.
The oil press will reach operating temperature in about 1 minute and will be ready to extract oil, the red button will stop blinking and the color will change to green calm.
Now you need to press the "Start / Pause" button, and the oil press will start working, the oil will drain directly into the oil container

If there are no nuts-seeds in the loading chamber-hopper for 1 minute, the device will automatically stop and the indicators will start slowly blinking red.
If the oil extraction process is over, then you need to turn off the device with the "On / Off" button.
If you need to add another portion of nuts-seeds, you can remove the bunker cover (and the device will turn off, the blocker will work), fill in the seeds, close the bunker cover. And then press "On / Off" again to continue the process.

Warning:
If the nuts or seeds are too large and the feed chute of the loading chamber is clogged, the appliance will automatically stop.
Seeds and nuts that are too wet, ingredients ground to a flour condition, and particulate matter can block the auger. In this case, first press the “Start / Pause” button and then press and hold the “Reverse” button for at least three seconds. The auger turns in the opposite direction and unlocks.

In my example, the result is about 150 ml. sunflower oil and about 360 grams of dry fat-free meal-cake.

The sunflower seed oil is very thick, strongly "suspended" by the sediment. Therefore, I always let the oil settle for about a day in order to get the pure oil and sediment separately.Pour the oil into a clean dish. I leave the sediment in a separate bowl and use it in salads.

SUMMARY:
- the yield of pure oil is small, with 500 grams of seeds, the yield is about 150 ml. oils.
- the taste of the oil is excellent, there is a smack and smell of fried seeds.
- there is foaming when frying in a pan, but it went out quickly.
- I made a decision for myself, to use oil only from salads, with such a solution you will not really run away to use it in cooking.
- You need to use somewhere a large amount of meal-cake, found a way out, put the cake into the production of lean halva.

Care and cleaning of the oil press

Now you can disconnect the device from the network. Now we will disassemble the oil press in order to clean it inside from the remnants of meal and oil. It is necessary to clean the oil press immediately after pressing the oil, turning off the device, while the meal is still warm inside, and it is convenient to remove it from the auger. If this is not done in a timely manner, the meal will cool down and may be compressed tightly, and then it will take a lot of effort and time to remove its inner part from the auger.

- set the squeeze basket lock to the open position, move the slider to the "basket open" icon
- lift up the front cover of the squeeze basket
- remove the auger by pulling it towards you. The parts can be hot; for this purpose you need to use the protective glove supplied with the device.
- clean the auger and the front cover of the device using a brush (included in the delivery set) and a soft cloth. You can also clean with warm water and mild dishwashing detergents.
- after cleaning, simply dry all parts on the table.
WARNING:
- Do not use coarse sponges, metal tools, knives, scissors and other aggressive cleaning agents such as alcohol, gasoline, acetone to clean the device.
- do not immerse the engine body in water, do not wash it under running water.
- Do not wash the device and its parts in the dishwasher.

What to do with the cake, application

After the oil is squeezed out on the oil press, there is a lot of cake-meal, and something needs to be done with it.
Here, each type of cake must be approached individually. EG:
Flaxseed cake is suitable for preparing snacks, adding to yoghurts, salads.
Mustard cake has a strong smell (like mustard), soft, it can be used in sauces, for making mustard.
The Brazil nut cake is small, grains, fatty, and is suitable for sprinkling on porridge, for preparing vegetable milk.
Hemp cake has a very specific taste and smell (unlike the oil itself), this cake did not fit anywhere with me.
Chia seed cake is great for sprinkling on cereals, yoghurts, puddings, and snacks.
Pine nut cake is very fatty, fine, perfect for vegetable milk, for sprinkling in porridge and yoghurts.

Raw material quality and oil quality

The quality of pressing the oil is greatly influenced by seeds, nuts, their quality, types and their properties, the ability to squeeze.

The quality of pressing is influenced by the quality of seeds, their freshness. There are cases when initially grain-seeds are sold that have already undergone primary processing, that is, oil has already been squeezed out of them by the method of "solvent extraction of oil from oilseed material". In practice, we buy seeds intended simply for eating, or re-pressing the oil, the quality of which will be low and in the smallest volume. This can be compared to decaffeinated coffee, when the coffee beans are whole and there is little caffeine in them.

The quality of pressing and the amount of pressed oil are also influenced by the properties of the nuts themselves.
The quality of oils such as walnuts, pine nuts, Brazil nuts will have a high percentage of fat (up to 20-30%) and a large suspension of sediment, which will settle slowly, and the amount of pure oil will be small.
Or flax or chia seed oil, which gives excellent results, and the oil yield is very good, with 500 grams of seeds, the yield is approximately 150-180 grams.
There are very dry seeds, such as milk thistle, the oil is squeezed out well, but the oil yield is less, with 800 grams of seeds, the yield is about 200 grams.

All these nuances and subtleties are learned only in the process of practical use of the oil press, with experience of which and where to buy seeds-nuts, and what can be expected specifically from each type of seeds-nuts.
