The colorful Portuguese capital and one of the oldest cities in the world, Lisbon is nestled on seven hills on the southwestern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. Despite the fact that the city was almost completely destroyed by the earthquake of 1755, and the tsunami and fires that followed, the authorities managed to restore the city from ruins. Now, it attracts tourists from all over the world even more. The location of the city, which is favorable from a tourist and political point of view, but not particularly safe from a geographical point of view, still did not prevent Lisbon from surviving.
Monte Agudo
The city stands on seven hills, and this fact makes possible the presence of countless viewing platforms from where incredible views open. One of these sites is Monte Agudo, located in the Arroios area. It was created around the 50s. The playground, hidden from many tourists, was chosen by local residents. You can find her by going through a small gate behind 81 houses on Rua Heliodoro Salgado Street. Torri de Belém Tower
The country's pride, the Torri de Belém Tower, is included in the lists of the Seven Wonders of Portugal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built at the beginning of the 16th century in honor of the opening of the sea route to India. The building has a terrace on the ground floor from which you can admire the views of the surrounding area.
Aguash Librish water supply
Drinking water conduit, built at the beginning of the 18th century. At one time, the aqueduct made up for the lack of drinking water, which was in the city. The construction works to this day. For a period of time, the water supply system was closed to visitors, but now anyone can come here.
Queluz
The Queluz Palace, built in the 18th century, is located near Lisbon. At one time, it was a summer palace for the Portuguese kings. After seeing the palace, do not rush to leave this wonderful place. Mafra Palace
Mafra is the largest palace in the whole of Portugal and one of the favorite places to visit for tourists. Built in honor of the firstborn of King João V, who later had four more children. However, the royal couple lived in the castle for only one year.

Castle of Saint George
