There is most likely no cold water in the steam generator ... it's a steam generator .. If you need an apparatus for washing with cold water, this is not for my Klatrosh ... We need to look for a high pressure cleaner ... And they come with or without a steam generator ...
Now I saw this type of purifier in Nekerman, there are in Karcher and so on ... Accordingly, the prices are different.

Teen_tinka
Why did I have a question about cold water ... On the website of the store where you bought your device it says that the accessories include a hose ... So I thought that you can wash something just under pressure ... if the carpets are not relevant, but the tiles on the floor are tiled, is the "baby" suitable for this? And is its compactness + in operation or in how much space does it take up for storage? In short, I'm standing like a "Buridan" donkey ... Which one to buy? A question cleaner than Hamletov's will be ...
Teen_tinka
Most likely on the site it meant that you can change the nozzle to a fire hose - to clean it with narrowly directed steam. I have a high-pressure cleaner, but it connects to the water supply, and from there it "draws" water - not KLATRONIK.
And Klatroshka has a small reservoir ... and it seems to me that if you just spray with water without steam ... it will spill out all at once ... but I did not conduct such experiments ... but in the description of washing with water, and not with steam, I did not seem to see either ...

All of you say it this way! and how you become happy owners of new devices, you will not say under torture how they are in action. girlsiiiiiiiiiiii, tell us in more detail what this generator can hover and is it not sold at exorbitant prices?
Yes, everything seems to have been told, at least I shared without concealment, I can’t say anything new ... So far I haven’t played enough with him, only today I walked over the carpet and tiles again - a thrill !!! Everything breathes fresh
Teen_tinka
girlsiiiiiiiiiiii, tell us in more detail what this generator can hover and is it not sold at exorbitant prices? Smiling
thank God the prices are not crazy ... you can dig around and find for a normal price .. it's something like "why pay more for Karcher than for Klatronic?" washes and cleans not everything ...:

-used without powder ...
-with a large kaltrohoy windows, it is harder to wash ... it is as large as a vacuum cleaner and is heavy ... but if you wish, you can ... you need to be careful when washing metal-plastic windows - do not direct hot steam to the gaskets in the structures - it can be damaged ..
- does not wash carpets - rather steams (dust mites are killed, pile rises) ...
- tiles both on the floor and on the wall washes well.
- collects animal hair from carpets (on a brush ... I thought the vacuum cleaner collected everything ... but no ... the clathroch pulled it out to the sea ...)
- the hob washes off with a bang ..
- it cleans the oven inside well ... (the main thing is to avoid long clogging) ..
- the hood above the stove washes from the top and inside ..
- I cleaned the filter plates from the hood on the floor ... all the fat was gone .. before the dishwasher did not remove it ...
- steamed a coat and a fur coat before storage ...
-door handles, skirting boards, refrigerator inside and outside, washing machine outside - all washed with steam ...
- I washed the panels in the kitchen well ...
- the shower and bath are also well washed (though the bath is easier for me to wash this way ..) ..
- for the sake of interest, the fireplace was "steamed" ... inside .... the dust settled .. I wiped the rest ... I won't do it anymore - it's not effective .. but my husband said, it's not necessary ..
- well disinfects pots for plants, and accordingly the soil (for planting) ...
- steamed my bike (everything except the chain)., then oiled it in the right places ...
-the car "hovered" the wheels and the interior .... it turned out to be easier to wash the wheels with an ordinary high-pressure cleaner ... the interior was refreshed ... the husband did not let the car "float" ... you can say that the paintwork can be damaged ...
- the paths on the street are also easier to wash with a cleaner than with a steam generator ... but the basement of the house - you can also clean it with a clathroh ...
- heavy curtains hovered ... it seemed like a brighter color ... I didn't process thin ones ...
- the shades of the closed lamps were cleaned ...

That seems to be all that I did "so far" with a steam generator ...
Umenok
I have a Clathronic steam cleaner small for a couple of weeks. I am very happy so far. Considering that I don't like cleaning and don't like all kinds of chemistry, this is a worthwhile thing.
While I washed all the doors in the apartment, and my carpentry is white, so the dirt is clearly visible. I liked it, it was not at all troublesome, again without chemicals, just wash a cloth under clean running water. I can definitely say that the quality of cleaning is higher than just wiping the door, any crack or scratch is cleaned without problems with a jet of steam.
The facades on the kitchen furniture (also snow-white) very quickly zip-zip, and beauty brushed away with a rag.
In hard-to-reach places, here and there I walked along the baseboards with wires.
So far I have not carried out more global work, I will report later.
Umenok
I can add a few words about the quality of the product itself:
- convenient for work
- the wire is long enough
- stands firmly on the floor, countertop ...
- the weight is not very large, that is, the hand does not get tired during work
- a sufficient number of nozzles (both a nozzle and a curved nozzle with which you can change the direction of steam, and brushes, and a flexible hose)
- the tank with boiling water is closed with a plastic handle on the thread, i.e. it cannot be accidentally opened
- the plastic is dense, smooth to the touch of pleasant quality

Teen_tinka, and with what nozzle did you refresh the curtains? I think the clothes can be steamed, but I will not understand with which nozzle to do it?
And I still haven't learned to wash windows with a steam generator.
Teen_tinka
She passed through the curtains with a mop. But my curtains are very heavy.

Girls, I wrote about the big Clathronic. I don't have a little one. I tried to wash the windows, but I feel uncomfortable ... The window is very high ... and the device is heavy ... for wearing and washing windows at the same time ...
Aqua
I have been looking closely at the clathronic steam cleaners for a long time, they are small in size (a glass of water) and larger, like a small vacuum cleaner. I bought a small one for experiments. I cleaned the microwave and liked it. At the dacha, in an old stove near the handles, he blew out all the dirt. Cleans tiles well. Especially dirty places were treated with detergent - cleaning. Of the shortcomings, his hand gets tired of holding, he is in the form of a teapot. And with a rag you need to wipe the dirt behind it. But the result is worth it

Friends in the car on the seats removed the stains, were satisfied.
In short, I already need more

The universal steam cleaner EcoStim Badi was acquired by my friends, only positive emotions, which is alarming. It seems to me that they have not fully tested it. So I would like to know more reviews.
Aunt Besya
In the light of the upcoming large-scale house cleaning work, I began to think about a steam cleaner
Girls, how has your opinion about this device changed over the past time? What do you recommend?
Natulchik
I bought a Monstr2000 steam cleaner a couple of months ago and in general I am quite happy. A powerful jet of steam, a bunch of nozzles, I liked it!
Lika
Aunt Besya, I have Clatronic like a kettle. Was purchased more than six months ago for 1000 plus a tail. I worked out my money. Small, so water often has to be topped up during large cleanings, but on the other hand it stands in a cabinet and takes up little space and I do not use it often. Basically for cleaning, however, a couple of times they steamed the raincoat. I will not buy in size anymore. I have a Karcher detergent, so the steam cleaner comes as an addition when cleaning those places where Karcher will not crawl.
Aunt Besya
Lika, I'm thinking about it for the purpose of cleaning the seams in the bathroom and the cracks in the double-glazed windows ... well, not cracks, but what to call ... grooves. What do you think? And then they wrote that the grout falls out of the seams ..
Cvetaal
I have an Ariette steam cleaner for 500 ml of water, like a small vacuum cleaner in size, there are many nozzles.
Most of all I like to wash the tiled floor with it, I have polished porcelain stoneware, no streaks, just shine. The tile joints (on the walls in the bathroom and shower room) are washed in one step. Grout in place :). It refreshes upholstered furniture well, I hope that it also disinfects. Removes light dirt on the wallpaper, I have non-woven for painting. They say that you can clean the sheepskin coats, I have not tried it myself, I'm going to

I didn’t like (at all) to wash the windows, a lot of dirt is diluted due to the flowing condensation. It is not very convenient to steam the curtains alone, you need an assistant to pull the fabric and then everything is OK. It is not recommended to clean chrome-plated surfaces, I was stupid and decided to clean the grilles from the airfryer, as a result the coating was partially peeled off.

My grout is in place, but I did repairs 2 years ago and grout from modern materials, maybe the old cement joints will fly. Although there are a couple of seams along the 12 year old bathroom and they are fine.

A month ago I bought a clathronic 3268 that is like a vacuum cleaner. If they gave it to me to try it before buying, I probably would not buy it.
- washes windows poorly
- the seams on the tiles are only cleaned by those that can be washed so well, but since my kitchen is very small, almost all seams are within the reach of greasy splashes that I still use with the use of chemistry and the difference is that with the clathronic that I did not notice without
- gas oven, did not specifically wash the glass to try the steam cleaner, eventually took a hedgehog and washed everything
- stains on the sofa, again, were removed only by those that were already removed with the help of a stain remover
- I tried to iron the curtains, in short, I took an iron and stroked it
- hoped that she would clean the stainless steel dishes, but no effect, although I hoped so
but of course there are pluses
+ it was very good at blowing out various garbage from the sink, washbasin, bathroom so I could not clean it up even with the harshest chemistry
+ well refreshed the carpets on the floor
+ I liked washing horizontal blinds (before that it would have been a feat for me) as they are decent
+ well, I steam bed linen, pillows, blankets (especially after watching a program about how tenants live in them)
+ in the washing machine, the tray for loading powders was cleaned well, which I could not do before
+ they say it also cleans the rim of the toilet bowl well, but I have it so clean (which made me happy!) I could not evaluate
Well, probably everything that I had time to try, of course I will use it otherwise I will kill my husband every time I take him out and tell him that this is the most necessary thing!

At the beginning of the summer, after thinking about what kind of steam cleaner to take so that it would not be idle, it would do all the work I needed, and at the same time, if I was disappointed, so that it would not be particularly offensive and would not feel sorry for the money spent, I settled on a small Klatronic, which is in the form of a teapot.
Cons: with a full tank of water, it is heavy (this is if you plan to wash a lot of vertical surfaces. Although the included extension hose may be sufficient), you have to add water often.

I'm happy with everything else: she washes the windows wonderfully. Well, the water then collects at the bottom of the window. But in the end, washing windows (glass) turns into a sheer pleasure, so it is not difficult to wipe the water with a cloth. There were no stains on the glass. If anything, I think it's enough to walk after it on the glass with a microfiber napkin.
Any hard-to-reach places (thin or deep cracks, holes, dimples, etc.) washes away (more precisely, blows out the dirt with steam) wonderful.
Washes all kinds of washable surfaces well. I haven't tried any specific metal, ordinary door handles, latches, etc.
I wash the glass in the oven with a rag with soda, while the steam cleaner is not working there.
This way I will not "iron" the curtains. If necessary, there is an iron for vertical steaming, I have already got used to it on outerwear, suits, jackets.
I just knock the upholstered furniture, covering it with a wet rag. It seems to me that with such a device, when the dust is not sucked out of the furniture, it makes little sense to clean the furniture. In the same way, it is possible to "refresh" (read: remove excess dust) carpets or upholstered furniture with an ordinary vacuum cleaner or a wet brush and knocking out with a wet rag. Efforts, of course, more, but the result, IMHO, is much better. Honestly, I can't imagine anything better than a rag. Nooo, I can still - shove this job onto my husband

By the way, probably there is something like washing vacuum cleaners for upholstered furniture? Or vacuum cleaners with a steaming function ....

By the way, probably there is something like washing vacuum cleaners for upholstered furniture? Or vacuum cleaners with a steaming function ....

I had a story a couple of years ago with tests of a steam vacuum cleaner (suction). Once I go to a store, and there is a presentation of a wonderful, expensive Italian paravacuum cleaner. Now I don’t remember exactly the name of the company, but something related to ... TECHNO ... so beautifully told and shown that I caught fire. I agreed with the representatives of the company that if they come to my house and successfully solve my problems, I will buy it. (The price was around 65 thousand, it's a pity, but if it's good, then figs with them) And my tasks are simple:
1. Tiled walls in the shower room (very red bloom reaches)
2. A balcony glazed by the builders (the side doors do not open)
3. Tiled floor in the kitchen (light, with an uneven surface)

We arrived, tested it on the spot, I myself tried how it works.
The result was not impressive at all.
1. The red bloom remained in place, only slightly brightened, but I can easily achieve such a result without efforts and without chemicals (it can be perfectly washed with it) with an ordinary microfiber mitten.
2. It is very difficult to wash the glass on the loggia from the street side with this vacuum cleaner (hold it with one hand and make sure that the nozzle fits snugly against the glass). In addition, divorces remain. Same result as a rag wrapped around a mop.
3. The floor in the kitchen is also not brilliant, it is much more efficient and cheaper to walk on the floor with a melamine sponge once every six months, although it is a dreary task, but it washes better than this steam vacuum cleaner. I checked it with a representative of the company, which surprised him very much.

These are the tests. The only thing I liked was the processing of the carpet at the front door. Over time, the pile is crushed and you can't just pick it up with a vacuum cleaner. but after the vacuum cleaner, the pile straightened, but the spots did not go away perfectly. It is easier and cheaper for me to periodically change the carpet than to start a steam cleaner for it. In short, I don't have a steam cleaner. Maybe a small manual one makes it easier to clean in some way, but if a powerful steam vacuum cleaner did not impress, then what can a small one give?

And I do not believe that it will wash off. I'm too lazy to try, honestly.
If splashes of fat on a tile or on top of a stove can be washed off (or rather, softened with steam and then wiped off with a cloth), then what sprinkles inside the oven and baked for some time at 180 degrees or more - I do not believe that it will be washed off with steam.

And for vertical steaming - is it a special kind of iron?
No, the most ordinary one, the same one with which I iron: Tefal with an Ultragliss ironing surface (sort of like some kind of enamel on the sole). True, it was bought 8 years ago. Those models that are newer and more modern are rather bulky and heavy (for me personally). It seems to me that steaming the same curtains with an iron should be more effective: in addition to exposure to steam, there is also heat from the hot iron soleplate. Perhaps together they will give better results than a steam cleaner, i.e. one steam. Unfortunately, I have no opportunity to experiment (or luckily - that there are no curtains in the house)

So he is not a steam VACUUM CLEANER, but a steam GENERATOR. That is, it gives off steam, but does not take anything away. Steam under pressure flushes / blows out dirt or dust from hard-to-reach places. Anything that it softens or blows out should be wiped off with a cloth.

In general, the need for it depends on the degree of accuracy of all family members, the organization of life and other aspects. So I know that this is not a necessary thing for every family. In the family of my parents, for example, he is absolutely unnecessary. Their order is already maintained so that nothing is needed to rake out and clean out with special efforts.

For me personally, it facilitates spring cleaning, helps to clean out hard-to-reach places. Example: handles on the fridge and freezer. Here they are made in such a way that they are, as it were, assembled from two halves, between which there is a hollow. Dirt is regularly clogged into this hollow. How - I myself do not understand, because the refrigerator doors somehow turn out to be completely in the fingerprints (also not very clean). This kind of dirt pisses me off, but I'm tired of walking and constantly grumble at everyone. Washing off mechanically (i.e. without chemicals) is also tired. And the refrigerator entirely in the PM, alas, cannot be shoved. It's easier to buy an assistant to facilitate cleaning. And so on ... doors, switches, all surfaces of the horizon. and vert., which are in frequent use, batteries and pipes, taps, windows (especially the joints of glass and frame, we do not have double-glazed windows) .....

I read somewhere that it is good for them to steam shoes from the inside - both for disinfection and to eliminate odor (of course, if such operations are performed regularly). But this is for sneaker type shoes. I haven't tried it myself.

More information on steam cleaners

What can be cleaned with a steam cleaner?
Steam cleaners can be used anywhere: for cleaning hard surfaces, cleaning the bathroom, toilet and kitchen, cleaning glass, mirrors or even furniture surfaces, as well as ironing and maintaining textiles. The 9 examples below will clearly illustrate the correct operation of the steam cleaner and the instructions to be followed.
It should be said that the result of the first use of a steam cleaner may not fully satisfy your expectations, since there may be traces of previously used cleaning agents on the surfaces. We therefore recommend that you carry out a so-called general cleaning first. To do this, it is best to wipe the entire surface once or twice with a nozzle with a napkin, which allows you to completely eliminate traces of cleaning agents.
Tip: Check on an inconspicuous area. Before starting cleaning, check in a hidden area to ensure that the color is fast. This applies mainly to textile materials (upholstery, velvet, carpets, etc.) or leather. Woolen rugs should not be steam cleaned. To recognize possible color changes or deformations, it is necessary to wait until the test area is completely dry.

Removal of fatty deposits:
1. Stainless steel looks attractive only if there is no grease on it. You will achieve the best cleaning results with a soft plush cover and an additional cloth.
2. If a persistent fatty film has already formed, you cannot do without intensive wiping of the surfaces. In this case, a constant flow of steam should be maintained.
3. The cover gradually absorbs fat. Therefore, you should replace it periodically.
4. Process the surface alternately - section by section: in one hand - a nozzle, in the other - a clean cloth.
5. To remove streaks, steam the surface and polish it with a microfibre (soft, highly absorbent) cloth.

Cleaning of cookers:
1. Glass ceramic hobs are a major challenge for many cleaning methods - but not for steam cleaners! An additional stainless steel spiral is put on the round brush. You can purchase it from any household goods department.
2.No worries: the combination of mechanical processing with steam helps to avoid scratches on the glass surface - in this case, steam forms a reliable sliding layer. The joints and edges of the glass ceramic panel can be cleaned with a brush attached to the spot nozzle.
3. A round brush with scraper is ideal for cleaning gas stoves. The heat-resistant polymer bristles of this special brush allow you to easily remove sticky dirt from lime and burnt grease, even from hard-to-reach places. Finally, as with glass ceramic panels, the surfaces should be wiped dry.
Advice: a heavily soiled surface should be steam treated with the utmost care and allowed to get wet. Soaked dirt can be removed more easily and, in addition, moisture creates a sliding layer for use with a stainless steel coil.

Cleaning hard-to-reach joints:
1. For good cleaning of joints, joints and other hard-to-reach areas, use a spot nozzle with a small round brush.
2. Direct steam treatment combined with intense mechanical friction removes even the most stubborn dried dirt.
3. After steam cleaning, wipe dry with a tissue. Be careful when cleaning joints with silicone seals: limit yourself to brief steam treatment.

Cleaning of plumbing fixtures:
1. To avoid scratching the chrome-plated and stainless steel fittings, use only a point nozzle to clean them. Bring it close to the object to be cleaned and wait for the lime to dissolve. If it still does not dissolve or is in a hard-to-reach place, place a brush on the nozzle. A brass brush is also perfect for this. Treat the area with intense steam shots.
2. Thick layers of limescale should first be moistened with vinegar and allowed to work for about 5 minutes.
3. Regular steam treatment prevents the formation of lime deposits.

Tiled floor cleaning:
1. If stubborn dirt is present, clean the surface of the ceramic tiles with a floor nozzle. Its brushes provide mechanical separation of stubborn dirt.
2. For periodic cleaning, as well as final cleaning in the previously described case, the nozzle is covered with a napkin. Fold the strap so that it protrudes slightly over the edges of the attachment and secure it tightly in the clamps. To do this, use a soft napkin.
3. After turning on the steam, continuously move the nozzle back and forth; continuous steam is not required. To thoroughly clean the joints between tiles, move the nozzle both transversely and diagonally to the joints.
Tip: Young children are eager to taste everything. Therefore, cleaning agent residues, which are potential allergens, can enter the child's body. Using a steam cleaner prevents this danger for your family because, unlike solutions of cleaning agents, steam does not leave any residue on surfaces.

Cleaning laminate floors:
1. Using a steam cleaner equipped with a steam flow regulator, you can also clean laminate or parquet (but not rubbed with mastic!). After setting the steam consumption to a minimum, treat using two wraps (= 4 layers) to reduce the mediocre effect of steam on the surface.
2. The SC 1702 should only be used in steam mode. Avoid keeping the nozzle in one place for a long time and the formation of water puddles. If you follow these recommendations, moisture quickly evaporates, and no streaks remain on the floor.
Tip: We recommend vacuuming the floors before steam cleaning. Laminate floors should only be cleaned with complete confidence that they have been installed and glued in accordance with all the rules.
Tip: Cleaning the wipes: The wipes (wraps) used for steam cleaning can be washed at 60 ° C.However, you should not use fabric softeners because they reduce the fabric's ability to absorb dirt and moisture.

Cleaning windows (using the window cleaning attachment included in the set of extra class machines):
1. When using the steam cleaner for the first time, perform a general cleaning: wipe the glasses with a hand-held nozzle with a tissue stretched around it, then wipe them with a dry tissue. Tip for window cleaning in winter: Pre-spray cold glass panes with a steam jet from a distance of about 5 cm.
2. Then steam the glass surfaces with a window washer attachment and remove the remaining moisture with the rubber tie of this attachment, moving it from top to bottom.
3. If it is necessary to clean the glass from the outside, it is necessary to pay attention to the safety requirement: since the steam cleaners are intended for indoor work, they should not be used outdoors. Therefore, when carrying out work, the device itself must be located indoors.
4. Re-cleaning the windows is much easier: steam all glass on the inside and outside using a window cleaning attachment that runs from top to bottom. The distance is about 10cm.
5. Dry the window with a rubber tie, also movable from top to bottom and, finally, in the lateral direction at the bottom of the glass. To avoid streaking, wipe the rubber tie dry after each track.
6. If water drops remain on the surface after applying the rubber screed, remove them with a cloth.

Refreshing clothes:
Refresh and clean your clothes in minutes with the textile care attachment. This attachment is equipped with a special tool to remove hair and lint from garments. With it, you can easily smooth out wrinkles in curtains or clothes hanging on a hanger, as well as remove stubborn odors.

Yesterday I tested this device.

The degrees of protection are excellent, strong, I turn on the blocking of the steam boiler itself.
It's convenient to use, no problem.
Small and large wall and floor nozzles.

Most of all I was struck by the fact that you can adjust the steam flow (3 positions), steam pressure, due to which you can get less strong steam, and even wash the parquet floor.
There are specials for the floor. a nozzle and a microfiber nozzle (bag) is put on it. For tiles, you can apply a strong hot jet of steam, for parquet a weak and warm jet, and collect dirt and water with a bag on the nozzle.

Yesterday I washed the tiled floor once !!!

And it's also good that the boiler holds 1.2 liters of water !, enough for the entire bathroom, along with the floor !!!

In general, I really liked this toy
dopleta
Admin, and when you chose it, did you compare it with the one like mine - SC 1.0200? I chose for a very long time, and did not understand the difference. My functions are the same, the pressure and heating power are higher, so why does it cost less? Not because the volume of the boiler is one glass less? I tortured the sellers, they say mine is newer, but I think this is not an explanation.
Admin

dopleta, but did not compare it with anything! At first there was a desire to buy a small, but strong and sturdy steam cleaner.
I saw this one and fell in love!
I read the specifications, watched the video a hundred times!

I did not consider yours, because it looks like a regular vacuum cleaner, but I have it

I was amazed that you can wash the floor - tiles and parquet, all the more to adjust the power.

Now go with a vacuum cleaner, collect garbage and dirt, and then you can wash the floor with warm (hot) water-steam - that suits me perfectly!
Even carpets can be steamed.

No, no, this is not a vacuum cleaner, this same powerful (1500 W, pressure 3.2 bar), small (weight without culling 3 kg, dimensions 380x254x260) steam cleaner with absolutely the same functions, but you can also store all of it in it accessories. And it costs 2-3 thousand less.

I am now also in a choice between Karcher 1122 (like Admin) and 1020 (like Dopplet). As they explained to me in the store, the difference is that there is no nozzle for cleaning windows in the 1020. But at the same time, you can buy it for 700 rubles and it will fit this steam cleaner. That's all. I am leaning towards 1020, because at a price, even with a separate attachment, it will be 2.5 thousand cheaper.

Yes, exactly, I just thought that I already have a Karcher electric glass breaker.

I ordered an Ariete 4209/1 steam cleaner as a vacuum cleaner. For a long time I chose a small one or a larger one, Clatronic or Ariete, finally ordered. I read the reviews that they praise the quality of the plastic and the overall performance of Ariete, although both are in China. The day after tomorrow they should bring it, they said this is only in the warehouse. I'm already waiting, I can't wait! I walk in the corners, look where I need to wash something and I just regret that there is not enough dirt somehow!
I would like to advise whether it is possible to clean a school suit with a steam cleaner? I constantly brush it, but the child is doing his best, and I am clearly losing in the fight for a clean jacket. I really hope the ferry will at least help myself ...

Congratulations . I have the same. I did not try to clean clothes.
Patricia
And I read your review, and started looking for Ariete steam cleaners! \ Only if I understood correctly, you have a model 4170 for 0.5 liters?
Cvetaal
Patricia , You are right, I have 4170. And yours is more powerful and larger in volume. Have you already tried it out? How was it?
Patricia
Cvetaal I'm still waiting, tomorrow from 11 to 15 I have to bring it, I will test it and I will report.

I'll tell you about my impressions of the Ariete 4209/1 steam generator, manufactured by Ariete (Italy), part of the Delongi concern, with factories located in China. This is how it looks:
Steam cleaner (steam generator)
It costs UAH 1120 ($ 140).
When this unit was brought to me, my mother was visiting me. She began to read the instructions aloud, and the eldest son repeated everything in practice. Despite the chaos they created, we figured out pretty quickly what was what.
It is very convenient that there is a knob for smooth adjustment of the steam supply power. In the body of the steam cleaner there is a recess into which the hose is inserted, during operation, you do not need to figure out where to put the hose. The plastic really looks very high quality, like all attachments, handles, buttons, etc. Capacity for 1.2 liters, pressure 4 bars, enough for cleaning 40-60 minutes, comfortable cord - 6 m, you can remove without switching constantly from socket to socket.
So what we have already washed:
- a battery in the kitchen, washed easily and quickly
- the tiled floor in the kitchen, unfortunately (), was quite clean, I did not notice any special effect
- the carpet collects a lot of rubbish on the brush, despite the fact that the carpet was recently cleaned, and the look of the covering and carpet is clean, clean, this cleanliness is straightforward
- gave my son an old stool from the balcony, which was used during the repair (I could not wash it) - the stool is snow-white
- I wash the taps in the bathroom and kitchen all the time, so there was nothing special to wash
- the hob, removed the burners and soaps under them, washed for a long time, but washed them to their original appearance, before that I could not wash them due to the fact that there are very small parts of the electric ignition, they were covered with a layer of fat
- the panel above the stove was washed well, although I constantly wash it, there are still such small droplets of fat on it, and you can't rub it hard. These droplets rose, and I easily removed them with a rough sponge
- they cleaned the school jacket, it is impossible to wash, and the brushed sleeves were not cleaned
- cleaned Kukushechka - great, but I didn't wash the saucepan from the outside
- a sandwich maker, where the wire is wound, the dirt could not reach with a rag, easily cleaned with a small nose
- linoleum in the corridor, it is old, we will soon make repairs, but while we have to live with it - of course, it did not become new, but it even brightened
- a sink in the kitchen of soap, it is made of corrugated stainless steel - I did not notice the effect, the sink was bought with such a surface for drying dishes, stains from water are not washed on it, and they were not washed
- the toilet is clean enough, but the sink from the outside is all dripping - washed off at once
- steamed pillows, mattress, blankets
- I remembered - I have a steel-colored refrigerator, on it, no matter how hard I always try, stains from a rag, wiped it with a glass nozzle - super
- wiped all mirrors in the same way, once and done
- the doors, door frames, handles, sills, etc. were washed very well - everything is so clean
- the hood in the stroller was crumpled, and I was reluctant to take it off and iron it, the steam cleaner smoothed out quickly and cleaned the traces of street dirt on the stroller
Conclusion: this is not a panacea, you will still have to rub with pens, but it is quite a useful thing in the house.
I have not tried ironing yet.

my steam cleaner cleans everything except the carpet, maybe because nothing can clean my carpet, but it's not convenient for me to use it personally. It does not clean clothes, but windows and a stove - yes, it copes with fat easily! it is inconvenient that you have to wait until the water heats up, and after work, drain off excess steam, as well as a short cord. I have clatronic, I didn't have much choice.

Girls, someone will show a microfiber napkin, what is it, is it fabric or synthetic? Thank you in advance.
Cvetaal
Basja , a napkin for cleaning the floor is a fabric, similar to a waffle towel, only denser (I have Ariette 4170)

Steam generator girls !!! As it turned out I want it too !!! Until they kicked me out of the house, help me make a choice. I looked at the Ariete 4209/1 steam generator as in Patricia, in principle, I liked it. The question is: is such a powerful one really necessary ??? or you can be content (without sacrificing quality) simpler and, accordingly, cheaper. If so, which one would you recommend ??? I have a small work area: windows, a sink, a carpet, light linoleum in the kitchen, a bathroom, and white surfaces of the refrigerator, microwave, etc.

Girls! Pli-out! Respond! I join Mistletoe's question. And I want to concretize. Do we have owners of little "clathronics"? Respond. How do they help you, on those surfaces that Omelochka has listed and even without linoleum? Only verticals?

Do we have owners of small "clathronics"? Respond.

I respond. I have been using a small Clathronic (model 2939, it seems, looks like a kettle) for three days already, I'm happy as an elephant.
I washed a very neglected kitchen (I didn't clean it properly for three months), all the cabinet doors, the tiles above the working area - almost with a bang, pissed off with clathronic and wiped it with a microfiber cloth, the entire toilet - and the toilet, walls, and the floor. I thought it was all sparkling in my eyes with delight, but no, in the evening my husband and daughter in chorus noted that the tiles in the toilet were like new.
It is convenient to clean it out of the corners with a curved nozzle - near the baseboards, in the door frames, near the multicooker "in folds" under the lid. And another bonus - the sneaky cat was shitting on the carpet in the hall, cleaned and washed, but still a faint smell remained (if you kneel down, bend over and sniff). I cleaned the carpet in this place yesterday, it became damp, by the evening it dried out - the smell disappeared!

I have Maxim's steam cleaner (small), but it's the same as the Clathronic. It is convenient for me to work. I clean: the tiles in the kitchen (bathroom, but our water is soft, so there are no hard deposits), the plate (glass ceramics) and the surface under it. Hood, refrigerator inside and outside. Mirrors and mirrored doors. I haven’t cleaned the windows yet (my hands didn’t reach), but the windowsills were soapy. Leather and suede footwear. I especially like to clean suede, because it is not possible to clean suede well in other ways. Leather and suede winter shoes are well cleaned of white salt deposits. It is good to steam jackets, jerseys. Plus, the tank lasts for 20-25 minutes. After work, I can no longer master, and so fractionally and without getting tired, you can redo a lot of work, but not at one time, of course, but without much stress for yourself. These are the pros. Of the minuses: I could not clean the light upholstered furniture from stains, as well as the light carpet in the hallway. But this does not bother me very much, I will look for other ways, especially since the carpet in the hallway has already been replaced (the old one in the garage until better times).

Omela , I have Ariete 4170 for 0.5 liters since September 2010. What can I say? I constantly wash the floor with it from very light polished porcelain stoneware, no streaks, a perfectly clean surface. Easily and quickly cleans tile joints. The carpet is brighter, but the carpet brush is very rough and has a lot of lint. I just perfectly removed the stains on the wallpaper, they are non-woven for painting. No traces I tried to remove the old stain on the mattress, but nothing worked, only slightly turned pale. You can easily spoil the chrome-plated surfaces, "cleaned" the grille from the AG, now you need to look for a replacement. I tried to wash the windows 1 time, I didn’t like it very much, all the dirt flows down to the windowsill, and it’s inconvenient for me to wash them, the windows are large, but most likely. these are my personal troubles. I want to buy a window washer from Karcher.
But the mirrors were cleaned very cool!

Pani Ohmonek, can they wash the floor too?
