Cooking method

  • Cakes:
  • Knead the dough of all the ingredients for the crust. Divide into two parts and bake (my diameter is 26 cm). Cut one cake into 2 parts. Grind the second into crumbs.
  • Cream:
  • Beat butter and add condensed milk little by little.
  • Interlayer:
  • Peel apples, grate and mix with chopped nuts.
  • Assembly:

  • Next, repeat the layers - the last layer is crumb. Top with chocolate icing.
  • It can be assembled so that the cake is below and above, and in the middle there is a cream, an interlayer, a crumb.

The cake is delicious, not complicated. The apple-nut layer balances the sweet cream.
The biscuit is oily, heavy. I have not baked this for a long time, I have fallen in love seriously and for a long time Vanilla on boiling water. So I think next time I use it - the cake will turn out to be more airy, and the cake itself is even better.
By the way, in the first post I once wrote that I used the form d = 26 cm. I will say that this is a large form for such a portion of a biscuit. Yesterday I baked in the form of 24 cm, it is possible and 20-22, then the cake will be higher.

If raw apples are confused, then you can slightly simmer on the stove or in a micro. I, too, treat raw fruits in cakes with caution, I add only caramelized apples to order. And if you are worried that the apple will darken, sprinkle with lemon.

The other day I baked for a visit and went with this cake. I baked vanilla in boiling water (for 4 eggs in a 23 cm mold). It turned out very cool, I even liked it better than with the original recipe - softer, airier and more tender. Grated the apples, mixed with sugar and cinnamon and slightly tired in a saucepan.
It turned out tasty, everyone liked it.
