Ingredients

wheat flour 450 grams
water 200 ml.
salt 1 tsp
butter 1 tbsp. l.
dry yeast 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • If you need to take something like that on the road to chew, crunch - then we make crackers!
  • We put all the products in the bowl of the food processor, knead the dough so that it lags behind the walls of the bowl.
  • Let the dough lie down for 30 minutes and rest.
  • Roll out the dough in portions and several times through a rolling machine to a layer thickness of 1.5 ml. Sprinkle the layers with a little flour, just slightly for ease of rolling.
  • When rolling out the dough, I recommend that you first make a "triple envelope" on the thickest rolling, then gradually roll it out in 3-4 modes until the layer is thin. In my opinion, the "triple envelope" gives the dough a flakiness, which is very good for such a dry dough.
  • Cut into squares.
  • We put the squares on a baking sheet, pierce with a fork over the entire surface (I did it with a tenderizer), let it stand for 20 minutes in time.
  • Preheat the oven to 240 * C.
  • Place the baking sheet in the oven until the crackers are lightly browned. During baking, crackers can be either flat or swollen with voids inside.
  • Be careful - crackers can burn very quickly. Do not overexpose them either, they will become very dry!

  • Crackers become especially crispy when dry and completely cool.

I did not try to replace the oil, maybe you can.
The dough is as simple as brushwood. Only brushwood in oil (deep fat) is made - crunches in the oven, therefore, it is drier.
