Apple roll

Ingredients

Wheat flour 250 g
Salt pinch
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Margarine + butter 125 g
Dry yeast 1 tsp
Milk
(in the process of kneading, I added more milk,
about 10 ml)
50 ml
Yolk
(leave protein for lubrication)
Baking powder
(it was not in the original version,
but then I started doing this
and did not regret it!)
0.5 tsp

Cooking method

  • Everything is in HP, mode "Pelmeni" (only kneading), after which leave the dough to lie down for another 15-20 minutes.
  • Roll out a thin layer, spread with apple jam (I have boiled cake after a juicer), sprinkle it with semolina (or breadcrumbs, or starch) so that it does not spread during baking, add raisins and chopped walnuts there. Roll up the roll, grease it with egg white, sprinkle with poppy seeds (or whatever you like more) and put in the oven at 180 -190 C ... I won't say exactly in time, I bake it for about 15 minutes.

Time for preparing:

about 15 minutes.

Cooking program:

180 -190 C

yeast dough, but there is a lot of oil in it, if you leave it in a warm place for a long time, it "spreads", and in the oven it is perfect during baking. Anyway, this roll with a rather thin dough comes out in the end ... but this has its own charm. Yes, I forgot to write, I baked in high humidity (I put a frying pan with a small amount of water under the pan, which completely evaporated by the end of baking.)
