Thank you for your answer, but do you get juice with a seed? I don’t know what is the principle of this attachment or is it a fine mesh? It just costs only 80 UAH. maybe it's worth buying in addition, like there are graters in the harvester, but sometimes I cut carrots in a meat grinder, suddenly it will come in handy

The meat grinder does not heat up as quickly as Zelmer.
I have a Zelmer meat grinder with a juicer. That year I was spinning tomato juice, the meat grinder did it with a bang. I did not heat up quickly, I have been using it for two years now, everything is okay.

The juicer has 2 nets, the cells are large and small. Here's what the instructions say:
"GAMMA-SV" will help you:
prepare juice with pulp from juicy berries and fruits;
make tomato paste;
make mashed apples and plums for baby food.

Natasha, have you processed a large volume of tomatoes without shutting down Zelmer? I periodically put it under a split for cooling, and Gamma-7-01 works for a very long time and does not heat up.
Natalia K.
: francevna, I had two nets in Zelmera, so that I changed them periodically. Twisted 2.5 buckets of tomato. Indeed, in a manual squeezer, they also periodically cleaned the mesh.
francevna
I also have 2 nets in Zelmera. But I started not with tomato juice, but with grape juice, which ruined everything. I believed the recommendations that it was possible with the twigs, but it was necessary to separate each grape from the bunch first.
Natalia K.
I spun the viburnum juice on my squeezer and everything was okay, the nets were not damaged, but I picked the grapes from the branches and twisted them, everything was also ok.

Girls who have a Zelmer meat grinder with additional attachments .. I'm interested in the attachment "A mill with millstones"
How does it work, to what state it grinds, for example, wheat grains to the state of flour or simply grinds.
My Zelmer meat grinder is very happy with it, but without attachments ...
I think to order additionally or not

Nobody bought such a meat grinder? I saw it on the Brand website. Interesting how she works. I want to buy as a gift, it's a very tempting price.

But this big plastic screw with a curly head - what is its purpose? It seems to me that he fixes the working drum itself with the auger to the frame of the meat grinder. Or I'm wrong? A meat grinder always vibrates from its number of revolutions. Will the backlash increase from this? What do our respected techies and men think about this?
Vanya28
This is a screw for clamping the auger body, which indicates not very precise mechanics, but this is unlikely to have a very negative effect.
It is useful to know if the knives and grates are compatible with any other well-known manufacturer for interchangeability, just in case, if so, then of course you can take it and not bother.
You buy a household option anyway.

Dear Panasonic owners, is it necessary to lubricate the knives after drying, as written in the instructions?
Thank you.

After much torment, they bought all the same Panasonic MK-MG1500WTQ, and m-not the media market actively praise selmer (in general, the first time I hear about this), shallow, from Mom Bosch, but bought 5 years ago ... Japan, now there are no such, Brand - a lot of marriage. While satisfied, I twisted beef and fatty pork - I did it! They write that the disks for minced meat are getting dark, they cannot be washed in the dishwasher, I wash and immediately wipe dry and put them in the closet.

Advise a meat grinder in the region of 1000 UAH or a little more. As I understand it, Zelmer and Panasonic are in the lead. Or did you not finish reading something? What to look for?

Does Zelmer have iron gears? If not, then only Panas is the leader.
I got a Kenwood PG-510 with a reverse, beast
I took it according to reviews, it did not hold out for money on Panas, for me 510 Kenwood was in 2nd place after Panas

Zelmer has plastic gears, but the meat grinder works well, I'm happy.
Natalia K.
I have Zelmer very pleased with the meat grinder. And the fact that plastic gears are okay, iron also breaks.
shade
Peace be with you bakers!
so what's wrong with a plastic gear
will not jam - it will break and a new 3 kopecks costs
I use Zelmer quite tightly without breakdowns
Natalia K.
Agree with shade, a new gear can be bought in the service for 10 UAH
sazalexter
And in Panasonic you do not need to buy anything.In my opinion, it is simply not possible to jam it
merilena
Zelmer is unambiguous, I bought it I like it, I advised my neighbor and gave it to my sister, no one complained, and colleagues worked in the hardware store advised and said that for all the years that this meat grinder was served, they brought marriage a couple of times, vsivolish ... but about the plastic parts , it can break if the bones are ground, even if that, it is much cheaper, easier and more affordable to buy it than a completely auger!
metel_007
I am also for Zelmer, I bought it a couple of weeks ago, very happy.

Zelmer has plastic bushings for a reason - everything is thought out)
As already noted earlier, a broken plastic sleeve can be easily purchased in free sale and its price is 50 UAH.
Why do they break plastics? Because the bone gets in - the piece broke, protecting the rest of the mechanism from breakage. And in other meat grinders, on the contrary.They seem to be stronger, but if a splinter of bone falls into a metal sleeve, then it will not break - no. It's metal, strong, reliable, yes) The main mechanism of the meat grinder will just break down. Burn out the motor and deal with the ends. It costs a lot more to fix it than to change the plastic sleeve. Like this
makabusha
I read about the sleeve and remembered that my mother-in-law had a broken beacon of an unknown manufacturer precisely because of the plastic thing on which the auger is attached. Since the manufacturer is unknown, we cannot find a replacement for this plastic thing. There are 3 service centers in the city and all work only under the order - they can bring a bushing from a meat grinder of a particular brand, but it is not known whether it is of the company or not. Can someone post a photo of this sleeve so that I can compare it with ours? What if they are interchangeable in size?

Everything was thought out when they began to use plastic gears in the gearbox of the meat grinder. As long as the iron ones stood, the knot of scrapping could not even enter anyone's head. In the Soviet meat grinder everything is iron, and until now it has been "plowing" for 20 years.
And this plastic insert breaks at the most inopportune moment, and it usually does not exist at hand, and you have to get to the service.
That's why I bought Panasonic, where there is no plastic

I have a Zelmer meat grinder + vegetable cutter + stone fruit juicer + citrus juicer, for many years it has served faithfully. It works great, there are no downsides, the knives are not dull.
I also advised my parents this, they bought it and will not get enough of it.

I spent a lot of money reading reviews on the meat grinder. It turns out on the Internet on many sites it's just a war, which is better: plastic bushings / gears or iron. All the read-out information looks like this:
1. With iron bushings, only some models of Kenwood and Panasonic are declared, the later one, in particular, the model 1800. But opponents had doubts about this, because apart from the manufacturer's words, there is no more confirmation. All require a photo, I have not seen a photo.
2. Where there are iron gears, the motor protection system is designed as an electronic board. Doubts have been expressed as to how quickly (instantly or not) it will be able to stop the meat grinder and thereby prevent damage) and statements that suddenly the repair of such a board will not be so cheap, given that it is electronics.
3. With iron bushings, much more sound is emitted by the meat grinder during operation.
4. There is no information about cases of jamming of a meat grinder with iron bushings, or simply no one admits, or everything really works there with a bang.
5. Plastic bushings are available from all other manufacturers, including Brown, Bosch and the most common Zelmer. Most of them have spare bushings included with the meat grinder. The main argument is that if a bone hits and the meat grinder gets jammed, the teeth of the plastic gear will wear off, and the engine will remain intact. If you have a spare sleeve at home, you can not even wear it to the service, the replacement takes place without disassembling the meat grinder.It should also be noted that there are not so few reports that the same Zelmer customers have already changed these bushings. Such messages are not massive, but they are still repeated.
6. It is concluded that plastic bushings are a competent and cheap policy for all manufacturers to eliminate critical situations associated with jamming, give examples of a similar device for other devices, it seems even some kind of electric saw.

Py. sy. This whole situation reminded me of a story with a choice of dishwashers between Bosch and Beko. Bosch is like a super machine and rarely breaks down, but if it breaks down, then the repair and its terms will not seem small, and if the warranty period is also over, then it is easier and cheaper to buy a new machine. Beko is inferior to Bosch in steepness, but due to the fact that all the solutions are simple, and repair, suddenly what, inexpensive and affordable, is still the leader among dishwasher acquisitions.

In addition to the epic with bushings, I made more conclusions:
- people who work with minced meat are highly praised by Brown's meat grinders;
- the popular saying that with good power the reverse button is not needed, contradicts the fact that on powerful meat grinders the manufacturer still puts this button in the most advanced models, while the same manufacturer does not have a button in models that are more modest. Example, Panasonic 1800 with reverse, and Panasonic 1300 and 1500 without a button;
- among the warranty cases, there are often complaints about the leakage of the juice of the product, which is being ground, into the meat grinder. According to the idea, there should be a protective gland and once someone disassembled the meat grinder (I don’t remember which manufacturer) he even saw a tube that still brings the meat juice inside. But in fact, they often write about the flow of black liquid from the meat grinder (juice + some kind of lubricant?) And the smell of rotten meat from the meat grinder. But Zelmer definitely does not have this problem, the peculiarity of the design with an inclined plane (I myself did not really look at Zelmer), in contrast to the cylindrical inner capacity of other meat grinders;
- Without exception, ALL knives and grates of modern meat grinders are susceptible to rust, so you should always wipe it dry and then with vegetable oil;
there are many complaints about Bosch meat grinders;
- pay attention to the meat grinder knife, which should not be stamped, but preferably forged;
- the most violently roaring meat grinder is recognized as the Kenwood meat grinder.

Everyone makes their own conclusions, I just made a capacious general overview of the information on the Internet. Do not hit the current))))))

Friends! And today, after long agony of choice, I bought the Bork M500. Honestly, I was skeptical about my own choice (well, I was so set up), I was just tired of thinking about which model to buy
Well, I'm reporting, today I just tried to make a bit of minced meat, well, just super! Easy, relaxed, stress-free. In general, I'm happy)
The previous meat grinder (just do not throw your slippers) was Panasonic, well, it's just awful how I suffered with it! Meat (and I always buy tenderloin and fillet, NO lived), it crumples, I had to press with such force that my stomach was already aching
Well now, my problem is solved) Tomorrow I will try all sorts of pribluda in the form of graters.
Natalia K.
Irina F, congratulations on your purchase. Let it serve for a long time
sazalexter
Irina F Congratulations on your purchase! And to Panasonic buy a new movable knife, and you will have it like a new one, it will come in handy in reserve just in case. Alternatively, touch up the old knife with fine sandpaper or a new flat bar.
PS: And yet, Panasonic "loves" to spin his knives harder

Hello! Can you please tell the owners of the Kenwood mg515 (mg400 / 500) meat grinder, is the Kenwood at941a grinder attachment suitable for the meat grinder? They write what fits, but this description is not found anywhere else, everywhere they write that it is only for kitchen machines. I want to buy a Kenwood meat grinder just because of this opportunity, I will not take a kitchen machine because there is a food processor.
