Anyuta, that's just a problem with this pip, really a problem. The lid is heavy, and this is aggravated by the fact that the pip is quite straight - there is nothing to catch on, it just slips out of any combination of fingers. I compared it to the lid from the jellied meat set, it pipka there is completely different, that is, as expected, thin at the base, and expanded to the top of the head and it is easy to grab it even when wet bold fingers. If you don't come up with any way out, the lid will just crack at one point.

Girls, what beautiful pots you have, oh, it would be a place to put stuff !!!
Lena said to brag, so I came to brag. They were presented to me. Honestly, it's better than a gift. Cast iron on a wooden stand, small for one portion, and the lid can be used as a frying pan. Girls, please tell me what to do with them before the first use, it seems like cast iron should be calcined somehow?
Trishka
Ava11, Alla, cool gift!
And about preparation ... I washed my cast-iron skillet well, then I calcined it well, it smelled horror at Meey, then cooled it down a bit, smeared it with a thin layer of vegetable oil and heated it up again so that a protective film appeared, like everything ...
Marysya27
Ava11, Alla, the seller told me for a cast iron frying pan: take 1 tbsp. l. salt, 1 tbsp. l. rast. oils. Grease the pan. Warm up until brown. Let it cool down. Wash. Wipe up. Put on fire for a couple of minutes to evaporate the rest of the water. Store dry only.
Ava11
Trishka, Marysya27, thank you, I will use the advice!

Yoksel-moxel. These are the desirable things. And you can ask the givers, where did they get it? Go to distant foreign countries.
Ava11
Ksyushk @ -Plushk @, as if Eksel-Moxel correctly noticed from France. The parcel was good, otherwise it was heavy cast iron in my hands. Although they are small, but heavy. No identification marks where it was made, the most interesting.

Ekaterina2, Katyusha, very appetizing, but a pot of vapes!

Katyusha, what kind of pot is so beautiful
On Sima Land I took it back in the spring. I barely chose - there was so much beauty there!
Ilmirushka
Ahhh, Katerina, I just have an increased salivation at the word "fish", and then there's a picture
kirch
How I want such a pot. But it was not on the sim. Maybe now appeared
Ekaterina2
Ilmirushka, given that there are actually very few fish there - the abdomens are mainly trimmings .... but delicious! I will definitely repeat.
Trishka
Ekaterina2, Katyusha, thank you, we need to look ...
Ilmirushka
Kate, for me there are no separate parts in fish ... the abdomen-backs, and even more so, the pruning, I love the FSU fish (and here is a smiley face pulling a fish into its mouth with shaking hands)
Csscandle
I just saw such pots on Sim, I was just making a choice, I reread the whole topic.
For myself, so far I have chosen jellied triplets and a blue Pskov dumpling dish. And I want everything at once)
Ilmirushka
Yulia, but how will you order with Simaland, do you have no problems? We only have wholesale
Csscandle
Ilmira, we have a purchase at the local forum from this site, and everything somehow passed me by, only after reading this topic I began to remember that I had already seen such a site!

well then, great! There is a lot to choose from, especially from ceramics. I also use local services, a neighbor is engaged, through her I ordered curtain sets for two friends, I really liked the fabric.

I ask experienced housewives for advice. I bought a clay pot (I chose it for a long time, studied it, read the information) - a handsome man, 5 liters, without glaze (I was specifically looking for one to absorb the aromas of food). Well, he absorbed ...
The first thing I cooked in it was buckwheat with mushrooms. Forest mushrooms, fragrant. They ate the porridge, soaked the pot, then washed it with tea soda, dried it - everything as it should be.
But since then, the pot smells like mushrooms, any food cooked in it smells too. My husband and I are calm about this smell, but my daughter does not like it and every time grumbles that the food "smells like a pot." Moreover, the mushroom smell somehow transformed into something really unattractive, to be honest, an association with a dirty dishcloth (I remember it smelled like that in our kindergarten).
What I just did not do .... I soaked a pot of soda, with vinegar, boiled water in it, calcined it empty in the oven, cooked meat broths - the smell is invincible.
Is it really forever now?
Elena Tim
lizonka, I don’t know if I would have done the right thing, but if I found myself in such a situation, almost hopeless, when it only remains to throw it away, I would first soak the pot of soda for two days, then rinse it, dry it thoroughly and spread it on the inside with refined vegetable oil. And I would smear until it ceases to be absorbed into dry clay. And then I would bake it in the oven to create a protective oil layer. Maybe at least then the pores will be sealed with oil and the pot will stop absorbing liquids and odors, and then give them back to new food.

Maybe you have any thoughts, ideas?
You can drill a hole with a thin drill and insert a string or iron ring.
I saw such an adaptation on the ceramics sold and took note of it.
lizonka
Elena, thanks for the advice! Yes, this is probably the only thing that remains.
Then I will write what the result was.
Anastasenok
lizonka, I honestly washed and began to store onions / garlic in it. And for cooking in Sime I ordered glazed pots
gala10
lizonkawhen I was presented with an unglazed pot, it smelled strongly of gasoline. It was impossible to cook in it at all. Nothing helped until I poured orange peels into it and held it on the loggia for a long time. The smell of gasoline disappeared, the smell of orange did not appear. Now I cook in it not so often, but still. It does not absorb new odors. True, having read Lenochka Tim's advice now, I would have applied it. After the crusts. For fidelity.
alfa20
Lizonka, and stored as you have a pot without food when? I have quite a lot of ceramics, but only glazed ones.I noticed that it is necessary to store the pots with the lid ajar, otherwise the smell of the finished food - brrr ... It's just impossible to eat. Forgive me for getting in - well, maybe someone else doesn't know.
lizonka
alfa20, keep it open. I immediately removed the lid from it at once - it has a high pipka on it, the pot did not go into the oven in height. I close it with an ordinary metal lid of a suitable size, after washing and drying the pot separately, the lid separately.
gala10, about the crusts is an interesting idea. It's time for tangerines to come.)))
Anastasenok, the hamster is strangling me so much money to be thrown into the onion storage ..... I've already thought about it, as a last resort.
I have portioned pots with glaze, they are not always convenient - in my family the portion is small for someone, for someone it is large; You can't put much in them, because the liquid escapes. (By the way, I realized now - they are stored with the lids closed, there is no smell).
I would like to cook a pot of cabbage soup or porridge without any problems and let everyone impose for themselves how much they eat. And I use pots mainly for dumplings.
I ordered a glazed pot in the joint venture, I won't bother with non-pouring ceramics anymore. But I will still "save" this pot.))))

lizonka, try pouring liquid halfway through the pot. I also ran away earlier, I reduced the amount of liquid, everything became ok)

Naturally, if you pour half of it, it will not run away. I wrote about 400 ml pots, if you put it in half the volume, this is a portion for a child, and I need to feed the men. Therefore, I dreamed of a large pot, 4-5 liters, so that I could cook it right away, so I could eat it and stay in the morning.
Rick
lizonka, well, yes, very small. I have a volume of about 1 liter. Here in them I pour half the volume of water. And the pot of food is full. For example, half a pot of potatoes, half a meat. Well, it's rude) My husband is just getting a portion.
lizonka
I got in touch at the Crafts Fair with people who make pottery and asked for their opinion. They advised to fill the pot with water, vinegar and salt, boil, cool, and then ignite the already empty pot. And every time, if I cook something odorous in it, wash and heat the empty pot in the oven.
I did these procedures, for dinner I stewed pork ribs with potatoes in a pot - there seemed to be no foreign smell. In any case, the daughter did not complain.
Hurrah.
shurpanita
lizonka, I had such a pot, I did not store ready-made food in it. Soaked for 15 minutes before cooking. After cooking, do not soak the soap and leave it open. Unglazed dishes cannot be soaked for a long time. And when the crack began, she parted without regret, but rather with a feeling of relief)))
lizonka
Do you mean to soak by submerging in water or just pouring water into a pot?
I don't store food either, I shift it right away - it's inconvenient to scoop out of it, it's a narrow throat, so I immediately transfer it to a suitable saucepan. And mine right away.
I hope our correspondence will be useful - those who have read will try to buy glazed dishes. I have already ordered a couple of pots of glaze, and in this one I will probably only cook soups. Pea is excellent in it.

Today I saw portioned pots in the "Five". A set of two pieces-209 rubles .. Cute. Tomorrow I'll take a closer look at a nearby store.

In our family, the female sex is enough, sometimes we can't even master it, it's not enough for the muscovites .... I started a 700-gram one for my husband. And for a small 200 gr.

Vikaof course that's enough, I'm making such a pot for two
